The present invention provides a method for producing a mold made of a composite material by using a prepreg material. First, a materialof a mold having a long two-dimensional shape and in a semi-cured state is produced from a prepreg sheet by continuous pultrusion molding. Subsequently, the semi-cured materialis mounted on a plurality of templates, andvertically provided on a base plateof a molding apparatus, and thereby plastically deformed into a three-dimensional shape. The entire molding apparatusis heated and pressurized to produce a completely-cured mold.

Method for producing composite material mold for composite material long member

The invention provides an improved method for forming a composite material mainly composed of carbon fiber. It is difficult to form an H-shaped structural member formed of a prepreg material having carbon fiber fabric impregnated with epoxy resin into a member having curvature. Thus, the structural member is divided into two bendable constructional elementsand, which are bent to given curvature then adhesively-bonded to form a structural member having curvature.

Method for continuously forming structural member

A continuous forming method and device for an H-shaped FRP member for forming semi-hardened preimpregnated members produced by impregnating thermosetting resin to carbon fiber or glass fiber and the like into a predetermined H-shape. The forming device comprises of a device for mounting a plural number of bobbins having strip-shaped preimpregnated material spooled thereto, providing tension when pulling the impregnated material out from the bobbin. The device the shapes the preimpregnated material to a predetermined H-shape that feeds release films from four sides of upper, lower, left and right. The device then provides heat and pressure to the preimpregnated material from said four sides with a heating furnace for after-curing the preimpregnated material. The device then hauls and holds the preimpregnated material for cutting the cured product.

Continuous forming method and device for H-shaped FRP member

A method for forming a compound material by intermittently heating and pressurizing a composite material reinforced by fibers. The method is made up of a pinching step of pinching and fixing the upstream end and the downstream end of the composite material; a heating/pressurizing step of heating and pressurizing the pinched and fixed composite material intermittently; and a moving step of releasing the compound material and sending the material to the downstream direction after termination of the heating/pressurizing step; during the pinching step, tension toward the downstream advancing direction is provided to the downstream end of the composite material, and during the moving step, the amount of movement of the compound material at the downstream side is set to be greater than the amount of movement of the compound material at the upstream side, thereby straightening the fibers in the compound material linearly.
