A safety information transmission device includes a reception unit that receives, via a network, safety information indicating whether or not a user is safe, the safety information being received by an information processing terminal if biometric authentication of the user is successful, and a control unit that determines, when a contact method is a contact by an electronic message and a contact destination address is an electronic message address, to transmit the electronic message containing the safety information to the electronic message address.

In a multiprocessor system, each processor system comprises a first storage means for storing the number of a failing processor among the processors in the processor system, a first notice acceptance means for accepting a notice of the number of a failing processor in another processor and writing the failing processor number to the first storage means, a second notice acceptance means for accepting a notice of initialization from another processor system to initialize own processor, and a notice means for issuing the notice of the initialization to all other processors. The multiprocessor system further comprises a system control processor analysis means for determining the system control processor from among the normally operating processors and a system restart control means for determining whether to perform system restart and, if own processor matches the system control processor, performing the initialization.

A multi-processor switch includes a main processor, a plurality of co-processors to perform a calling process under the control of the main processor, a detection unit to detect a failure at the main processor, and a determination unit to determine which replacement processor will perform the main processor functions from among the co-processors, based on the operating state of each co-processor when the failure at the main processor is detected by the detection unit. The operating state of each of the co-processor is, for example, the load state imposed on the co-processor or the number of times its operation has been resumed. By selecting a co-processor that has a small load or which has been resumed less frequently, an appropriate, more stable replacement processor can be determined.

Multi-processor switch and main processor switching method

A device controller is provided between a plurality of processors and a plurality of input/output devices each having a plurality of input/output terminals. The device controller manages mapping data defining a mapping of the input/output devices and terminals to the processors as well as their state data indicating a mounted state, a not-mounted state, etc., and controls the transmission/reception of information between the processors and the input/output devices by referring to the mapping data and state data. The device controller includes a data change controller which performs data addition, deletion, or updating on the mapping data to accommodate a system change.
