A fuel-filtering device is disposed inside a fuel tank for filtering a fuel. The fuel-filtering device includes a filter body having a bag shape and a communication hole, and is formed of a plurality of laminated filter layers. The laminated filter layers includes an outside filter layer formed of a woven mesh, an inside filter layer formed of a non-woven fabric, and at least one intermediate filter layer disposed between the outside filter layer and the inside filter layer and formed of a non-woven fabric. The filter body is formed of at least one of a polyethylene fiber and a polypropylene fiber and has mesh sizes decreasing from the outside filter layer toward the inside filter layer.

Fuel-filtering device

A fuel valve includes an upper chamber communicating with a ventilation passage of a canister; a lower chamber to be disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating port between the upper chamber and the lower chamber; and a float member disposed in the lower chamber for blocking the communicating port when fuel flows into the lower chamber. A bottom orifice or a one-way valve is formed in the bottom of the lower chamber for preventing the fuel to flow into the lower chamber and allowing the fuel to flow out from the bottom of the lower chamber. A fuel inlet is formed at a lower side of the side wall to face upwardly to allow the fuel to gradually enter the lower chamber so that an inner pressure in the fuel tank increases by entering the fuel into the lower chamber after the fuel reaches the fuel inlet.

Over-fueling prevention valve

A fuel tank connector for connecting a fuel tank and a pipe in communicating fashion includes a gas barrier member made of a synthetic resin and having a gas barrier property. The gas barrier member includes a tubular portion and a flanged portion provided on a peripheral side of the tubular portion, which extends beyond an opening of the fuel tank. The gas barrier member is made of a liquid crystal polymer, aromatic polyamide, a blended polymer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and high-density polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and polyethylene, or a blended polymer of polyamide and high-density polyethylene.

Fuel tank connector

A fuel valve includes an upper chamber communicating with a ventilation passage of a canister; a lower chamber to be disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating port between the upper chamber and the lower chamber; and a float member disposed in the lower chamber for blocking the communicating port when fuel flows into the lower chamber. The lower chamber includes a one-way valve formed at a bottom thereof for allowing the fuel to flow out only through the one-way valve, and a fuel inlet formed in a side wall of the lower chamber. When a fuel level inside the fuel tank reaches the main fuel inlet, the fuel flows into the lower chamber to raise the float member. As a result, an internal pressure of the fuel tank increases, so that a sensor at a fueling nozzle side can detect that the fuel tank is filled-up.

A fuel tank connector for connecting a fuel tank and a pipe in communicating fashion includes a gas barrier member made of a synthetic resin and having a gas barrier property. The gas barrier member includes a tubular portion and a flanged portion provided on a peripheral side of the tubular portion, which extends beyond an opening of the fuel tank. The gas barrier member is made of a liquid crystal polymer, aromatic polyamide, a blended polymer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and high-density polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and polyethylene, a blended polymer of polyamide and high-density polyethylene.

A rotary damper includes a housing having an annular groove with an inlet portion, and a rotor having a main annular portion to be inserted into the annular groove and a cap portion attached at one side of the main annular portion. The main annular portion is inserted into the annular groove to form a space therein so that the cap portion closes the annular groove. A plurality of sealing members is situated on inner and outer sides of the main annular portion for sealing the space, and a viscous fluid is filled in the space. An engaging shoulder portion is provided on one of the housing and rotor, and an engaging portion is provided on the other of the housing and rotor for engaging said engaging shoulder portion.

Rotary damper and assist grip device

A tube to be connected to a pipe is formed of a base portion, a wide portion and a narrow portion integrally molded together. The wide portion has an inner end extending to the base portion, and an opening formed at a side opposite to the inner end. An inner diameter of the wide portion is greater than that of the base portion. When the pipe is inserted, the base portion receives an insertion portion of the pipe, while the wide portion receives a projecting portion of the pipe therein. The narrow portion deformably projects inwardly from an inner circumference of the wide portion at a position away from the inner end. The narrower portion allows the projecting portion to pass therethrough in a pipe inserting direction by deformation thereof, and prevents the projecting portion from passing therethrough in a pipe removing direction opposite to the pipe inserting direction.

A fuel outflow preventing valve device of the invention is formed of a housing, a plurality of valves, and a plurality of energizing members. The housing has a flow path, a plurality of orifices communicating with the flow path, a plurality of cavities, and a plurality of openings communicating with the cavities. Each cavity communicates with each orifice. Each valve is situated in each cavity and moves to open or close the corresponding orifice. Each energizing member is situated in each cavity to support each valve and has strength such that each energizing member can not move the valve toward the orifice to close the orifice by its own force, but each energizing member can move the valve toward the orifice to close the orifice when fluid enters into the cavity to provide buoyancy to the valve. Therefore, the fuel outflow preventing valve device has a simple structure, and each valve is prevented from being stuck to a valve seat. Also, a length of each valve in a moving direction can be shortened, and a sealing ability can be maintained for a long time.

Speaker grille

In a speaker grille formed of a synthetic resin, including a grille plate having a plurality of through holes and a frame integrally formed with the grille plate so as to surround the outer periphery of the grille plate, a ring-shaped groove is formed between the grille plate and the frame so as to extend along the inner periphery of the frame. In molding the speaker grille, the flow of the resin is blocked by a ring-shaped dam provided in a metal mold to form the ring-shaped groove. Accordingly, the speaker grille can be beautifully molded without the generation of appearance defects such as flow mark, weld, and short. Further, in forming through holes also at the boundary between the grille plate and the frame, there is no problem in strength of the metal mold.

A drawer-containing apparatus is disclosed which comprises a box-like housing to be fixed to a pigeon-hole or the like, an accommodating case held for forward and backward movement through a front opening of the housing, a biasing member for urging the accommodating case toward its protruded position, and a push-push locking member for, in general, locking the accommodating case at its retreated position in the housing against the biasing force of the biasing member, the push-push locking member releasing the accommodating case from the locking action thereof to allow opening motion of the accommodating case by the biasing force of the biasing member when an ordinary force for opening is exerted on the accommodating case; wherein, between the housing and the accommodating case, an unlockable safety lock mechanism is provided for preventing protrusion of the accommodating case due to release of the accommodating case from the locking action of the push-push locking member caused by an unforeseen accident.

A screw rivet includes a screw and a grommet. The grommet has internal steps for meshing with external threads of the screw. The internal steps are formed on the inner periphery of an expansible portion of a leg of the grommet split by axial slits, and have a staircase-like sectional profile.
