An electrical rotating machine including a stator core is provided. The stator core is formed of substantially sector-shaped sheet segments die-cut from electrical steel sheets and arranged in a circumferential direction of the stator core to form circular sheets which are stacked in an axial direction of the stator core. In the electrical rotating machine, end regions of the stator core are formed of stacked sheet segments die-cut from non-grain oriented steel sheets, and the other region of the stator core is formed of stacked sheet segments die-cut from grain oriented steel sheets.

Electrical rotating machine with local heat reduction

A rotating electrical machine includes: a rotor comprising a rotor core and a field winding wound round the rotor core; and a stator comprising a stator core and a stator winding wound round the stator core. The stator is arranged in opposition to the rotor with a predetermined spacing therebetween. the stator core is formed by punching a split piece, which comprises teeth for insertion of the stator winding thereinto and a core back on an outer periphery thereof, from a magnetic steel sheet, and laminating a plurality of those circular configurations in an axial direction, in which a plurality of the split pieces are arranged in a circle in a circumferential direction. It further includes a device for measuring an ambient temperature and a device for detecting armature voltage and/or armature current and/or field current. The temperature inside the rotary electric machine is calculated from the measured ambient temperature, detection value by the detecting device and an directive value of cooling gas flow. And a calculated suitable value of cooling gas flow is determined according to the calculated temperature inside the rotary electric machine.

Electrical rotation machine and a wind turbine system

A rotating shaft is required to have an overhang for the mounting of a generator for an AC-exciter, the shaft length being increased correspondingly. The overhang may become the cause of generating shaft vibrations. A turbogenerator has a rotor over which a field winding is disposed, a coupling co-cut from a rotor shaft, an AC exciter for supplying a DC current to the field winding through a rectifier, and a generator for the AC-exciter, the generator including a permanent magnet as a field generator and supplying a DC current to a field winding of the AC exciter through the rectifier. The AC exciter and the generator are disposed over the rotor shaft. The rotor is rotated through engagement between a turbine and the coupling. The generator for the AC-exciter is mounted in a position on the side nearer to the turbine than a stator of the turbogenerator.

Turbogenerator

A wind turbine-driven hydrogen production system controlling a power converter system such that the wind turbine stays in its operable range for a longer time and thus the hydrogen production system produces hydrogen for a longer time. The wind turbine-driven hydrogen production system varies an amount of electrical current supplied to an electrolytic hydrogen production system according to the rotational speed of the wind turbine to reduce variations in the rotational speed. Furthermore, the pitch angle of the wind turbine varies according to the speed. Thus, variations in the speed of the wind turbine can be reduced. A permanent-magnet generator is used as the electricity generator of the wind turbine to obtain a power supply at start-up. Alternatively, a power storage system used as assistive equipment at start-up is supplementarily added or only a power supply for the controllers is supplied from a system.
