A testing method of thermal barrier coating (TBC) is for evaluating the presence or absence of damage to TBC formed on a bending part on which compression stress acts. The method includes a test piece that includes a pair of arm parts, a bending part arranged between the pair of arm parts, and a TBC layer on a bending surface of the bending part; attaching the test piece to a compression testing device after preparing the test piece; and applying compression stress to the test piece in a direction for bringing the pair of arm parts close together after attaching the test piece with the compression testing device. The pair of arm parts are arranged so as to separate from each other from base end portions toward front end portions of the arm parts. The bending part is arranged between the base end portions.

Testing method and test piece of thermal barrier coating

A method for manufacturing a composite material includes placing a netlike sheet material, through which a resin composition permeates, on reinforcing fiber substrates disposed on a forming die. The method includes covering the reinforcing fiber substrates disposed on the forming die and the bag surface-smoothing sheet with a bag film to form a sealed forming space between the bag film and the forming die. The method includes infusing a resin composition into the forming space to impregnate the reinforcing fiber substrates. The method includes curing the resin composition impregnated in the reinforcing fiber substrates. Warp yarns and weft yarns are disposed in a lattice pattern and, after placing the bag surface-smoothing sheet on the reinforcing fiber substrates so that the warp yarns and the weft yarns form acute angles with respect to corners of the reinforcing fiber substrates, the bag surface-smoothing sheet projecting from the reinforcing fiber substrates is bent.

Method for manufacturing composite material

A method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin molded article includes disposing a suction medium, a resin barrier aeration medium and a fiber base material in a cavity such that the suction medium is disposed between an end part of the fiber base material and a mold, and the resin barrier aeration medium is disposed between the suction medium and the end part of the fiber base material. The method further includes: impregnating the fiber base material with a resin by injecting the resin from an injection part, while reducing a pressure in the cavity by suction from a suction part; curing the resin with which the fiber base material is impregnated; and releasing a fiber-reinforced resin in which the fiber base material and the resin are integrated.
