An object of the present invention is to provide a control device of an injector capable of suppressing the influence of pressure reduction boiling even if pressure in a combustion chamber is low. In a case where the temperature of fuel injected from a fuel injection valve is within a set high temperature region and the pressure of the combustion chamber is within a set low pressure region, the control device of an in-cylinder direct injection-type injector according to the present invention controls to increase a lift amount of the injector as compared to the case of a low temperature region or a high pressure region.

A fuel injection valve is a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel to a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, which includes a valve body that is lifted by any one of a first lift amount of a maximum valve body lift amount and a second lift amount smaller than the first lift amount. In a case where the maximum valve body lift amount of the valve body is the first lift amount, a flow path area of a seat portion is larger than a sum of flow path areas of all injection holes, and in a case where the maximum valve body lift amount of the valve body is the second lift amount, the flow path area of the seat portion is smaller than the sum of flow path areas of all the injection holes.

Fuel injection valve

A fuel injection device including a valve body having an injection hole-formed part having a plurality of injection holes on the leading end side of the valve body. An injection hole comprises a crossing angle, &#x3b8;, between a central axis of the injection hole-formed part and an injection hole axis, and another injection hole comprises a crossing angle, &#x3b8;, between the central axis and another injection hole axis. &#x3b8;is larger than &#x3b8;. The injection holes are formed such that a distance between the central axis and an inlet surface center of the injection hole is longer than a distance between the central axis and another inlet surface center of the another injection hole. A straight line beyond an outlet surface in the injection hole axis does not intersect with another straight line beyond another outlet surface in the another injection hole axis.

Fuel injection device

A fuel injection valve includes a valve seat, a valve element, and a plurality of swirl fuel injection passages. The plurality of swirl fuel injection passages are divided into a first swirl fuel injection passage group that forms a first spray and a second swirl fuel injection passage group that forms a second spray that is oriented in a direction different from a first direction.

Provided is a fuel injection valve which can be easily processed and can realize sufficient atomization while suppressing spreading of spray. Provided is a structure capable of reducing dribbling of fuel generated when a valve body is closed. In order to achieve the above object, a fuel injection device includes: a valve body; and a seat member having a seat portion on which the valve body is seated and having a fuel injection hole formed on a downstream side of the seat portion. The seat member is formed such that a gap between the seat member and the opposing valve body in the whole region on the downstream side of the fuel injection hole is smaller than a diameter of the fuel injection hole.

It is prevented that residual fuel left in the vicinity of an injection nozzle outlet is carbonized to cause adherence of the carbonized fuel as deposit and changing of a spray pattern or an injection flow rate. A fuel injection valve includes a seat portion on which a valve body is seated and a seat portion in which an injection hole for injecting fuel downstream from the seat portion is formed, in which a concave surface denting in a direction opposite to a fuel injecting direction is formed on an outer peripheral side away from the injection hole at an end face located downstream of the seat member, and the concave surface is formed such that a material surface in an outer peripheral region has a larger wettability for the fuel than in an inner peripheral region.

Provided is a fuel injector that is capable of reducing penetration. The fuel injector of the present invention includes a valve body having a valve body side seat surface, a valve seat side seat surface that abuts on the valve body side seat surface, and an injection hole that is provided downstream of a position at which the valve body side seat surface abuts on the valve seat side seat surface. The valve body has a projection that is formed from the valve body side seat surface toward the injection hole, and the projection is formed to be smaller in a direction of fuel flow between seats than a radius of an upstream opening surface of the injection hole.

A fuel injection valve realizing improved circumferential uniformity of swirling fuel is provided. The fuel injection valve includes a swirling chamber having an inner peripheral wall whose curvature is gradually larger from upstream to downstream, a path for swirling which, having a fuel flow-in region formed along a valve axis direction, guides fuel to the swirling chamber, and a fuel injection orifice open into the swirling chamber. In the fuel injection valve, the path for swirling is inclined toward the fuel injection orifice formed on a downstream side of the swirling chamber.

A fuel injection valve realizing improved circumferential uniformity of swirling fuel is provided. The fuel injection valve includes swirling chambers each having an inner peripheral wall whose curvature is gradually larger from upstream to downstream, paths for swirling each of which, having a fuel flow-in region formed along a valve axis direction, guides fuel to the associated one of the swirling chambers, and fuel injection orifices open into the associated swirling chambers, respectively. In the fuel injection valve, a curved portion is formed on the bottom, in a sectional view along the valve axis direction, of an inlet portion of each of the paths for swirling so as to change the fuel flow in each of the paths for swirling.

A fuel injection valve is disclosed with enhanced uniformity of a swirl flow in the circumferential direction. The valve includes a swirling chamber having an inner wall surface with a helical curve and a swirling passage for guiding fuel into the chamber. The valve is formed such that the center of a circle as the basis of the helical curve and the center of a fuel injection hole open in the swirling chamber align with one another. The joint between the passage for swirling and the inner circumferential wall on the downstream side of the chamber at which both walls intersect is positioned between a line from the center of the hole to a point at which the curvature of the swirling chamber shape starts to change; and a tangent line of the side wall of the hole so drawn that it is in parallel to the line segment.
