A generator hub adapter is disclosed that is for use on a bicycle generator hub. The generator hub adaptor includes a mounting portion and a contact terminal. The mounting portion has a contact surface dimensioned and arranged to contact an axial outer face of a nut member of the generator hub. The mounting portion is electrically connectable to the nut member and easily mounted on a hub axle supporting the generator hub. The contact terminal is formed integrally with the mounting portion and provides a simple means for completing an electrical circuit without modification to a bicycle frame or the generator hub.

Generator hub adapter

A bicycle generator hub is mounted to the front fork of a bicycle and includes a hub shaft, a hub shell, bearings, a generator mechanism and first and second magnetic flux recirculation members. The hub shaft is non-rotatably mounted to the front fork. The hub shell is disposed around the surface of the hub shaft. The bearings are disposed between the hub shell and the hub shaft to enable the hub shell to rotate relative to the hub shaft. The generator mechanism has a coil mounted to the hub shaft and a magnet unit disposed such that the generator mechanism generates electric power via the rotation of the hub shell relative to the hub shaft. The first and second magnetic flux recirculation members are disposed on the hub shaft or the hub shell and return a leaked magnetic flux to the coil.

A back support structure for a snowboard boot includes a back support member for supporting a back surface of an ankle and a linking mechanism coupled to the back support member for coupling the back support member to a leg member of the snowboard boot. The linking mechanism includes a first pivot coupling and a second pivot coupling so that the back support member may pivot relative to the leg member around multiple axes to accommodate complex sideways inclinations of the leg.

A snowboard boot includes a toe portion, a heel portion and a leg portion. The heel portion and the leg portion are coupled so that the leg portion is capable of inclination in a longitudinal direction relative to the heel portion, and/or the heel portion and the leg portion are coupled so that the leg portion is capable of inclination in a lateral direction relative to the heel portion. In a more specific embodiment, a rigid heel overlap member is coupled to the heel portion, and a rigid leg overlap member is coupled to the leg portion. The heel overlap member and the leg overlap member overlap in a longitudinal direction. The heel overlap member and the leg overlap member are capable of relative movement in a vertical direction and/or rotation around a longitudinal axis. If desired, the heel overlap member and the leg overlap may interface through an arcuate or approximately spherical surface to facilitate relative movement in the desired directions. A position fixing means may be provided for fixing the vertical and/or rotational position of the leg overlap member relative to the heel overlap member.

Snowboard boot

A sole for a snowboard boot is made of a nylon reinforced fiberglass material. The snowboard boot includes an intermediate layer made of a resin material. between the sole and an upper portion of the shoe. The upper portion of the shoe is made of a leather-like material. A first adhesive adhers the upper to the intermediate layer. A second adhesive adheres the intermediate layer to the sole. The first and second adhesives have differing properties and advantages. For instance, the first adhesive 65 provides good adhesive properties between leather material and resin materials. The second adhesive 70 provides good adhesive properties between nylon reinforced fiberglass materials and resin based materials.
