A user equipment (UE) may receive a carrier indication that identifies a first carrier and a second carrier for communication between the UE and a network entity. The UE may receive a first quasi co-location (QCL) indication using the first carrier. The first QCL indication may identify a first set of QCL information that corresponds to a reference signal received using the first carrier. The UE may receive a second QCL indication using the second carrier. The second QCL indication may identify the reference signal and may indicate that the first set of QCL information is associated with signaling received using the second carrier.

Quasi co-location relationship indications for dormant or deactivated carriers

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a network entity a message indicating one or more sets of parameters for a set of carriers supported by the UE, the one or more sets of parameters indicating communication parameters for communications via the set of carriers. The UE may monitor for a field of a control message based on the message. A field size of the field may be based on the sets of parameters, and a respective value for the field may indicate a respective set of parameters of the sets of parameters for one or more carriers of the set of carriers. Based on receiving a control message and decoding the associated field, the UE may communicate via at least one carrier of the set of carriers using the respective set of parameters for the at least one carrier.

Joint indication for multi-cell scheduling

A user terminal according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving section that receives a first PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) from a first transmission/reception point (TRP), and a second PDSCH from a second TRP, the second PDSCH overlapping the first PDSCH in at least one of time and frequency resources, and a control section that performs control for transmitting both a first Hybrid Automatic Repeat request ACKnowledgement (HARQ-ACK) for the first PDSCH and a second HARQ-ACK for the second PDSCH to one of the first. TRP and the second TRP. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the HARQ-ACK control can be preferably implemented even in a case of using the multi-TRP.

User terminal and radio communication method

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit uplink transmission using antenna elements mapped to one or more antenna ports. The UE may transmit a first message to a network entity to indicate antenna ports that are available for wireless communications at the UE. The UE may transmit a second message to the network entity to indicate antenna groups associated with the antenna ports. Each antenna group may include a respective set of one or more antenna elements and may be associated with a respective transmit power threshold. The network entity may select a first antenna group of the one or more antenna groups for the UE to use for uplink transmissions. The UE may transmit, after transmitting the first and second messages, one or more uplink transmissions to the network entity using the first antenna group.

Antenna grouping for power management in wireless communications

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide reference signal configurations including transmission power control offsets for multiple cells. In one example, a network entity obtains a reference signal configuration that comprises one or more transmission power control offsets for a first cell and one or more transmission power control offsets for a second cell.

Downlink power control in wireless communications

Aspects of the present disclosure allow for more efficient rate matching by allowing a triggered A-ZP-CSI-RS set to support rate matching around multiple slots. Aspects of the present disclosure may allow a triggered A-ZP CSI-RS set to be applied to less than all scheduled PDSCH slots when DCI schedules PDSCH on multiple slots. Aspects of the present disclosure may extend CSI-RS resource mapping to span multiple adjacent slots. In another instance, aspects of the present disclosure allow a resource mapping configuration to indicate an initial symbol of a plurality of symbols spanning the plurality of slots for a respective A-ZP-CSI-RS resource. Doing so also allows a PDSCH transmission in a slot among the plurality of slots using a rate matching pattern associated with a set of A-ZP-CSI-RE resources to be received. In addition, aspects of the present disclosure can also add periodicity to A-ZP-CSI-RS resource set configuration.

Aperiodic zero power channel state information reference signal enhancement for multi-slot PDSCH rate matching

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a trigger state associated with a configuration for receiving one or more secondary cell (SCell) activation reference signals. The UE may perform a random access procedure to communicate with the base station. The base station may configure the UE with different sets of preamble parameters for different types of UEs. The UE may generate a random access preamble based on the sets of preamble parameters according to the type of the UE. The base station may indicate a location of the base station to the UE. The UE may identify a location of the UE. The UE may determine a pre-compensation timing based on a distance from the two locations. The UE and the base station may transmit subsequent communication according to the random access preamble, the pre-compensation timing, or any combination thereof.

Flexible random access channel configurations

Apparatuses and methods for single DCI scheduling multi-carrier for multi-slot PXSCHS and multi-SPS/CG PDSCH are described. An apparatus is configured to receive a configuration via RRC signaling, a MAC-CE, or DCI. The configuration is associated with a schedule of a set of CCs including at least two CCs. Each CC of the at least two CCs includes at least two PDSCHs or PUSCHs. The apparatus is also configured to communicate, via the set of CCs, with a network node based on the schedule. Another apparatus is configured to transmit a configuration via RRC signaling, a MAC-CE, or DCI. The configuration is associated with a schedule of a set of CCs including at least two CCs. Each CC of the at least two CCs includes at least two PDSCHs or PUSCHs. The other apparatus is also configured to communicate, via the set of CCs, with a UE based on the schedule.

Single DCI scheduling multi-carrier for multi-slot PXSCHS and multi-SPS/CG PDSCH

A user terminal according to an aspect of the present invention includes a control section that determines a type of particular search space, based on certain information included in a search space configuration, and a receiving section that monitors a control resource set (CORESET) by using the particular search space. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, it is possible to appropriately associate a search space with a CORESET.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information indicating a capability of the UE to receive multicast communications while operating in an inactive state. The UE may receive, from a first cell, configuration information that indicates a common frequency resource (CFR) associated with receiving multicast communications from the first cell while operating in the inactive state. The UE may receive, from the first cell, multicast mobility information associated with receiving multicast communications from one or more neighboring cells while operating in the inactive state. The UE may receive, while operating in the inactive state, one or more multicast communications from at least one of the first cell or a second cell based at least in part on at least one of the configuration information or the multicast mobility information. In an aspect, a UE transmits a DSS capability indication to a network entity (e.g., base station), which determines scheduling information for resources of a DSS carrier based on the DSS capability indication. Cross-carrier scheduling techniques for multiple discontinuous reception groups

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling, such as a control message or radio resource control (RRC) signaling, from a base station indicating a time interval over which to determine available power headroom relative to a transmission power threshold. The UE may calculate the available power headroom relative to the transmission power threshold as a function of UE transmission power during the time interval. The UE may transmit a power headroom report in an uplink transmission to the base station, the power headroom report indicating the calculated available power headroom. The base station may schedule one or more uplink messages at the UE according to the available power headroom.
