A vehicle body may include a front pillar including a pillar front plate, a pillar rear plate, a pillar inner plate and a pillar outer plate, wherein the pillar front plate, the pillar rear plate, the pillar inner plate and the pillar outer plate form a tube; and a pillar reinforcement arranged in the front pillar. The pillar reinforcement may be arranged rearward of a front tire. A space may be provided between the pillar reinforcement and the pillar front plate.

Vehicle body

A vehicle front portion structure includes: a battery case that is installed beneath a floor of a vehicle; front side members that extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction further toward a vehicle front side than the battery case; side rails that structure portions of a suspension member that is disposed further toward the vehicle front side, and that extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction; first connecting members that connect the battery case and the front side members; and second connecting members that connect a vehicle longitudinal direction front end portion of the battery case and vehicle longitudinal direction rear ends of the side rails, that face the battery case in the vehicle longitudinal direction as seen in a plan view and in a side view, and that face the side rails in the vehicle longitudinal direction as seen in a plan view and in a side view.

Vehicle front portion structure

A vehicle front portion structure include: side rails that extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction, that have rear end portions connected to a battery; a front side cross member, that is connected to a vehicle front side of both of the side rails and extends in a vehicle transverse direction; and a rear side cross member, extends in the vehicle transverse direction, wherein a front portion of each side rail is positioned further toward a vehicle upper side than a rear portion of the side rail, and an inclined portion, which is inclined toward a vehicle lower side while heading from a vehicle front side toward a vehicle rear side, is provided between the front portion and the rear portion, and wherein a gear box is disposed at a vehicle lower side of the inclined portions, as seen in a vehicle side view.

A vehicle front portion structure that includes: a first vehicle body frame that extends in a vehicle transverse direction at a vehicle front portion; a second vehicle body frame that is positioned at a rear side of the first vehicle body frame, and that extends in the vehicle transverse direction at the vehicle front portion; and a non-contact charger having a front side part that is joined to the first vehicle body frame and having a rear side part that is joined to the second vehicle body frame, wherein the non-contact charger includes: a power receiving coil, a cover having a charger bottom surface that is positioned beneath the power receiving coil, and a pair of left and right longitudinal direction frames that respectively extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction at left and right sides of the power receiving coil.

There is provided a vehicle side section structure including: a plurality of framework members that are disposed in a vehicle side section and that have closed cross-sections; side outer panels that are molded independently from the framework members, and that cover the framework members from a vehicle width direction outer side; a door opening configured by the plurality of the framework members; a side door that is provided at the door opening so as to be capable of opening and closing; and a sealing member that plugs a gap between the door opening and the side door; the side outer panels surrounding the door opening, and being configured from a plurality of panels including an opening panel that bears elastic force from the sealing member when the side door is in a closed state.

Vehicle side section structure

A suspension member includes: a front frame including a front cross member extending in a vehicle width direction; a rear frame at least partially made of light metal and including a rear cross member extending in the vehicle width direction, the rear frame being placed on a vehicle rear side of the front frame and joined to the front frame; and a protective member joined to the rear cross member so as to form a closed section together with the rear cross member.

Suspension member

A vehicle front portion structure that includes: a suspension member that is provided further toward a vehicle front side than a battery accommodating portion, and that has a pair of side rails that are disposed with an interval therebetween in a vehicle transverse direction and that extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction; and connecting members that connect rear portions of the side rails and a front portion of the battery accommodating portion, and at which deforming portions that, due to input of collision load to the side rails from a vehicle front side, deform such that the rear portions of the side rails move toward a vehicle lower side with respect to the front portion of the battery accommodating portion are formed, the connecting members being formed by members having higher ductility than the side rails.

A suspension member includes: a pair of left and right front body mounts, each of which has a front side rail part extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle body, and a cross part extending inward in a vehicle width direction; a front cross member extending in the vehicle width direction, in which both end parts of the front cross member in the vehicle width direction are joined to the cross parts, respectively; and a protective member that extends in the vehicle width direction and covers an entire lower wall of the front cross member, has a jack-up part for a jack to be applied, and is joined to the lower wall of the front cross member, the jack-up part being provided integrally in the protective member.

A vehicle front portion structure includes: a non-contact charger disposed at a lower side of a vehicle front portion, configured to receive electric power transmitted from a non-contact power transmitting system, and carrying out charging of a battery that is installed in a vehicle; and a cross member disposed at the vehicle front portion further toward a vehicle front side than the non-contact charger, and extending in a vehicle transverse direction, a bottom surface of the cross member being disposed further toward a vehicle lower side than a bottom surface of the non-contact charger.

Provided is a vehicle frame structure including (1) a first frame member that has a closed cross-sectional shape as seen in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to an extension direction and (2) a second frame member that extends along the first frame member, overlaps a wall surface of the first frame member, and has a hole portion that exposes the wall surface, with an edge portion of the hole portion being joined to the wall surface by a linear welded portion, wherein both end portions of the welded portion are disposed in close proximity to a neutral axis of the first frame member and the second frame member in a case in which the first frame member and the second frame member have undergone bending deformation in an in-plane direction of the wall surface in which the welded portion is formed.

Vehicle frame structure

A reinforcing structure of a vehicle frame member includes: ribs that integrally connect standing wall portions, that are formed at a planar portion of a vehicle frame member, to one another, and that reinforce the planar portion; portions of gradually changing thickness that are formed at connected portions of the ribs with the standing wall portions; portions of gradually changing height that are formed at the connected portions of the ribs with the standing wall portions; first curved portions that are formed at the portions of gradually changing thickness; second curved portions that are formed at the portions of gradually changing thickness; third curved portions that are formed at the portions of gradually changing height; and fourth curved portions that are formed at the portions of gradually changing height.
