An inverter controller includes a processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain a command rotation speed transmitted repeatedly from outside of the inverter controller, count a command obtaining interval that is a period from a point in time where an old command rotation speed was obtained to a point in time where a new command rotation speed is obtained, set a target acceleration of the electric motor when the command rotation speed has been obtained, and control the inverter circuit such that the electric motor rotates at the set target acceleration. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a command acceleration based on the counted command obtaining interval and the new command rotation speed, the command acceleration being set as the target acceleration.

Inverter controller and on-vehicle fluid machine

The motor-driven compressor includes an electric motor, a housing, a compression portion, and an inverter device. The inverter device includes an inverter circuit, a current sensor, a coordinate converter, a speed controller, a current controller, a PWM controller, and a rotation angle estimator. The speed controller generates a d-axis current command value and a q-axis current command value such that a necessary torque to drive the electric motor occurs. The inverter device includes a heat-generating current command section that increases a temperature of the electric motor by changing the d-axis current command value and the q-axis current command value. The heat-generating current command section changes the d-axis current command value and the q-axis current command value so as to shift them in a direction in which a d-axis current value increases along a constant torque curve in a d-q coordinate system.

Motor-driven compressor

A rotation angle estimation unit calculates a rotation angle of a rotor from a d-axis current and a q-axis current that flow into a motor of an onboard fluid machine and from a d-axis voltage command value and a q-axis voltage command value. A correction unit of an inverter device applies a pulse voltage to the motor when the motor is in a stopped state. Further, the correction unit corrects a parameter for control of the motor in accordance with a comparison result of the d-axis current and the q-axis current, which flow into the motor when the pulse voltage is applied.

Onboard fluid machine and method for controlling onboard fluid machine

An in-vehicle motor-driven compressor includes a temperature rise estimator configured to estimate a temperature rise of the diode based on an expected reverse current, an on-voltage of the diode, and a heat resistance of the diode. The in-vehicle motor-driven compressor further includes a rotation speed controller configured to set a rotation speed limit of the electric motor, based on the estimated temperature rise of the diode so that a temperature of the diode does not exceed a junction temperature of the diode even when the electric motor is stopped and the reverse current flows through the diode, and limit a rotation speed of the electric motor to lower than or equal to the rotation speed limit.

In-vehicle motor-driven compressor and method for controlling in-vehicle motor-driven compressor

The control section controls the electric motor to be driven such that the number of revolutions becomes equal to the target number of revolutions. If the control section sets the target number of revolutions to a number of revolutions of the electric motor requested by another control section, the control section changes the number of revolutions of the electric motor at an increase rate lower than or equal to the upper limit value of the increase rate or at a decrease rate lower than or equal to the upper limit value of the decrease rate. If the control section sets the target number of revolutions to a number-of-revolutions limit value, which is determined based on the voltage of a vehicle battery, the control section is able to decrease the number of revolutions of the electric motor at a decrease rate exceeding the upper limit value.

Method for controlling motor-driven compressor configured to be installed in vehicle

A motor-driven compressor for a vehicle includes a housing, a compression unit, a motor, and an inverter device. The inverter device includes an inverter circuit, a capacitor, a current sensor, a determination means configured to control switching elements in response to the current sensor not detecting a flow of current when the motor stops operating and configured to determine whether or not the current sensor detects a flow of current when controlling the switching elements, and a discharge starting means configured to start discharging the capacitor when the determination means determines that the flow of current has not been detected.

Motor-driven compressor for a vehicle

A control device for an on-vehicle electric compressor controls and drives an electric motor arranged in the on-vehicle electric compressor. The control device includes a temperature acquisition unit, a current detector, a threshold current value setting unit, and a motor current controller. The temperature acquisition unit acquires a temperature of the control device. The current detector detects a motor current, which is current that flows through the electric motor. The threshold current value setting unit sets a threshold current value in accordance with the temperature of the control device acquired by the temperature acquisition unit. The motor current controller controls the motor current based on a detection result of the current detector so that the motor current becomes less than or equal to the threshold current value.

Control device for on-vehicle electric compressor

A protective device protects an LC filter in a vehicle. The vehicle includes a first vehicle-mounted electric device and a second vehicle-mounted electric device. The first vehicle-mounted electric device includes a first power converter. The second vehicle-mounted electric device includes a second power converter and shares a power supply with the first vehicle-mounted electric device. The LC filter is arranged between the first power converter and the power supply. The LC filter is configured such that the resonance frequency band of the LC filter can be changed. The resonance frequency band of the LC filter is changed based on a ripple amount in a current flowing in the LC filter.

The controller controls an inverter that drives an in-vehicle three-phase motor. The controller includes a voltage application unit, a current obtaining unit, an addition unit, an addition conversion unit, and a derivation unit. The current obtaining unit obtains a positive current and a negative current flowing to each of the three phases. The addition unit adds the positive current and the negative current flowing to each phase. The addition conversion unit performs a three-phase to two-phase conversion on the three addition values. The derivation unit derives a magnetic pole position of the rotor, when the rotor is stopped, based on the conversion result of the addition conversion unit.

A first accommodation chamber accommodating therein an inverter unit with a built-in inverter circuit and a second accommodation chamber accommodating therein a filter unit with a built-in filter circuit are formed individually in different positions of a housing of a motor-driven compressor for a vehicle. Motor-driven compressor and air conditioner

A motor controller for a motor-driven compressor includes a compressing body for compressing and discharging a refrigerant and a motor including a rotary shaft, the motor for driving the compressing body through the rotary shaft. A coil of the motor is arranged in a refrigerant containing area in the motor-driven compressor. The motor controller includes a determining section for determining whether liquid refrigerant is present in the refrigerant containing area and a modulation control section for driving the motor in accordance with three phase modulation control or two phase modulation control based on a determination result of the determining section.

Motor-driven compressor and controller therefor

A direct-current to three-phase alternating-current inverter system includes a three-phase motor, a plurality of switching elements, an inverter circuit for the three-phase motor, a capacitor, a direct-current power source and a control circuit. The switching elements arranged in the inverter circuit serve as upper and lower arms for the respective three phases of the three-phase motor, respectively. The capacitor is connected in parallel to the respective pairs of the upper and lower arms. The direct-current power source is arranged between the neutral-point of the three-phase motor and the respective lower arms or the respective upper arms. The control circuit controls the switching elements such that at least the switching frequency of one pair of the switching elements for one phase through which the current having the greatest value flows is lower than the switching frequencies of the other pairs of the switching elements for the other phases.

Direct-current to three-phase alternating-current inverter system

An inverter device includes a filter circuit, an inverter circuit, an electric current detecting circuit, a voltage detecting circuit, a control circuit for outputting a drive signal so as to switch switching devices, and an internal power supply. The control circuit includes a shutdown circuit for stopping outputting the drive signal to the switching devices when an electric current flowing through a motor is an overcurrent or a voltage across the inverter circuit is an overvoltage or the voltage outputted from the internal power supply is not stabilized. When electric power by residual charge in the capacitor is used after the inverter device is disconnected from a high-voltage battery, the control circuit generates the drive signal based on a reference waveform and three commands for keeping switching devices corresponding to one phase in either ON or OFF state and for switching ON and OFF the other remaining switching devices.

Inverter device

The two-phase modulation control inverter unit includes a plurality of switching devices, a shunt resistor and a controller. The switching devices drive a three-phase motor. The shunt resistor is connected between a direct-current power supply and the switching devices. The controller reads a voltage applied to the shunt resistor in a read cycle, computes command voltages based on the read voltage, and uses the command voltages and carrier signals to compute three control signals. The read cycle corresponds to two or more signal cycles of each carrier signal. Each control signal has a pulse for each signal cycle of the corresponding carrier signal. The controller integrates a plurality of pulses of each control signal in the read cycle into one or more pulses. The controller reads a voltage applied to the shunt resistor at the time of outputting of the integrated one or more pulses in the next read cycle.
