An aqueous inkjet ink composition including a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a surfactant, a water-soluble solvent, and water. The water-soluble solvent contains a solvent A having a boiling point of 100° C. or more and 200° C. or less at 1 atm and 4 or less carbon atoms and 2 or more hydroxy groups in a molecule, and a solvent B having a boiling point of 100° C. or more and 200° C. or less at 1 atm and 4 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms, 1 or less hydroxy groups, and 1 or more methoxy groups in a molecule, and the aqueous inkjet ink composition has a total percentage of the solvent a and the solvent b of 20% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less. The aqueous inkjet ink composition has good storage stability, ejection stability, and drying property of the coating film.

Aqueous inkjet ink composition, printed matter, and inkjet printing method

An aqueous inkjet ink composition containing a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a surfactant, a water-soluble solvent, colloidal silica, and water, in which the surfactant includes a surfactant having an HLB value equal to or greater than 3 and less than 10 and a surfactant having an HLB value of 10-20 (inclusive), the water-soluble solvent has a boiling point of 170-250° C. (inclusive) at 1 atm, and the percentage of the colloidal silica in the aqueous inkjet ink composition is 0.05-2 mass % (inclusive). The aqueous inkjet ink composition has excellent storage stability, mechanical stability, discharge stability, coating film drying properties, and cissing resistance.

An aqueous inkjet ink composition contains a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a polyolefin resin emulsion, a basic compound, an aqueous medium, and a surfactant, wherein the alkali-soluble resin is a copolymer of acrylic acid/lauryl acrylate/styrene; a glass transition temperature of the alkali-soluble resin is 45° C. to 95° C.; an average grain size of the polyolefin resin emulsion is 5 to 300 nm; a solids content of the polyolefin resin emulsion is 0.5 to 5.0 percent by mass in the aqueous inkjet ink composition; and the surfactant contains at least an acetylenediol-based surfactant. The aqueous inkjet ink composition is adapted to offering excellent high-gap discharge stability, antifouling property, adhesion, drying property, abrasion resistance, discharge stability, and preservation stability, even when printed on nonabsorbent media.

Aqueous inkjet ink composition

A cleaning fluid used in an ink-jet printer ejecting an aqueous ink-jet ink containing a pigment and an alkali-soluble resin, to clean a portion of the ink-jet printer to which the ejected aqueous ink-jet ink is adherent. The cleaning fluid includes a surfactant, an antiseptic, and water. The surfactant is a compound having a polyoxyalkylene skeleton and an HLB of 9-20, and the antiseptic includes a compound having a hydantoin skeleton, the content of which is 0.05-0.3 mass %. The cleaning fluid does not attack nozzle plates made of silicone and has satisfactory storage stability, antiseptic effect, and ability to remove aqueous ink-jet inks.

Cleaning fluid, ink set, and cleaning method

An ink set including an aqueous inkjet ink composition and a primer composition. The aqueous inkjet ink composition contains a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a resin emulsion, a surfactant, a water-soluble solvent, and water; the resin emulsion contains a polyurethane resin emulsion and/or a polyolefin resin emulsion; the surfactant contains an alkyl sulfonate and/or a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate; the aqueous inkjet ink composition has a content of the alkyl sulfonate and/or the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate of 0.05% by mass or more and 0.5% by mass or less; and the primer composition contains an aggregation accelerator that accelerates aggregation of the aqueous inkjet ink composition. The ink set provides a printed matter having good print image quality and excellent abrasion resistance, and has good storage stability and ejection stability.

Ink set, printed work, and image formation method

An object is to provide a method for storing or transporting an aqueous white ink composition for inkjet that does not cause precipitation of a pigment therein during storage for a long period or transport, and allows the pigment to be easily redispersed even if precipitation occurs. As means for solving the problems, a storing method is provided that includes placing an aqueous white ink composition for inkjet containing titanium oxide and a pigment dispersant in a tank and maintaining the entire aqueous white ink composition for inkjet in the tank at a temperature of −5 to −35° C.

Method for storing aqueous white ink composition for inkjet

An object is to provide an aqueous inkjet ink composition offering excellent high-gap discharge stability, antifouling property, adhesion, drying property, abrasion resistance, discharge stability, and preservation stability, even when printed on nonabsorbent media. As a solution, an aqueous inkjet ink composition is provided that contains a pigment, an alkali-soluble resin, a polyolefin resin emulsion, a basic compound, an aqueous medium, and a surfactant, wherein the glass transition temperature of the alkali-soluble resin is 40 to 100° C., the average grain size of the polyolefin resin emulsion is 5 to 300 nm, the solids content of the polyolefin resin emulsion is 0.5 to 5.0 percent by mass in the aqueous inkjet ink composition, and the surfactant contains at least an acetylenediol-based surfactant.

The present invention aims to provide a packaging material having excellent printed image quality as well as excellent laminate strength and heat sealability. Provided is a packaging material including at least: a base film, a primer layer, a printed layer, an adhesive layer, and a sealant film in a stated order, the primer layer being formed of a primer composition containing a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt, a chlorinated polyolefin emulsion, and at least one selected from the group consisting of an acrylic emulsion, a vinyl acetate emulsion, and a urethane-modified polyester resin, the printed layer being formed of a printing ink containing a polyester polyurethane resin, the adhesive layer being formed of an aliphatic ester adhesive.

Packaging material

A primer composition including a resin emulsion, an aggregation accelerator, a surfactant, and water, the surfactant containing one or more of acetylene-based surfactants and silicone-based surfactants, and a nonionic surfactant other than the surfactant, the nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 10 or above and below 15.5 and having multiple polyoxyalkylene groups, and the proportion of the nonionic surfactant in the primer composition is 3 mass % or below. The primer composition has excellent storage stability and makes it possible to form a primer layer that has excellent transparency and that produces excellent bleeding resistance and printability when a solid image is printed by an aqueous inkjet ink composition.

Primer composition, primer layer, ink set, printed matter, and image formation method

An object is to improve the lamination strength and anti-blocking suitability of matters printed with an aqueous white inkjet ink composition containing titanium oxide, etc., on polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, nylon, and other resin films. As a means for achieving the object, an ink set is provided that includes a combination of: an aqueous primer composition containing an acrylic resin and/or vinyl acetate resin, and a calcium salt; and an aqueous white inkjet ink composition containing a polyester polyurethane resin emulsion with a rate of elongation of 500 to 1500% by 0.1 to 10.0 percent by mass in solids content in the aqueous white inkjet ink composition, a wax emulsion, and a titanium oxide.

Aqueous primer and aqueous white inkjet ink composition set for lamination

An object is to improve the dispersion stability and discharge stability, while also improving the image quality and various resistance properties of printed matters even when the cohesion promoter contained in the primer ink is small in quantity. As a means to achieve the object, an ink set is provided that comprises: an aqueous inkjet ink composition containing (a) a pigment, (b) a water-soluble organic solvent, (c) water, and (d) a resin emulsion, wherein the pigment (a) has a crosslinked resin layer on its surface; and a primer ink composition containing a cohesion promoter that promotes cohesion of the aforementioned ink composition.

Ink set

A water-based pigment type inkjet ink composition contains: a pigment whose surface is formed as a resin layer produced by crosslinking, using a crosslinking agent having two or more functionalities, an alkali-soluble resin whose acid value is 40 to 300 KOHmg/g, and 50 to 90% of whose acid groups have been neutralized by a basic compound; a water-soluble organic solvent; and a surface-active agent; wherein the alkali-soluble resin is such that lauryl(meth)acrylate is contained in the alkali-soluble resin, as its constitutional unit monomer, by 20 to 40 percent by mass relative to the total quantity of monomers. The water-based pigment type inkjet ink composition can exhibit good printability characteristics as well as a wide color gamut and can also offer excellent storage stability.

Water-based pigment type inkjet ink composition

A water-based inkjet ink composition for printing on nonabsorbent base material contains alkali-soluble resin-coated pigment, basic compound, water-soluble organic solvent, surface-active agent A, and surface-active agent B. Surface-active agent A is an acetylene diol compound represented by the following formula: Surface-active agent B is a compound with an HLB value of 4 to 9 obtained by adding an ethylene oxide to an acetylene diol compound. The content of surface-active agent A in the water-based inkjet ink composition is 0.1 to 1 percent by mass, and the content of surface-active agent B in the water-based inkjet ink composition is 0.4 to 2.5 percent by mass. The static surface tension of the ink composition is 27 to 32 mN/m.

Water-based inkjet ink composition for printing on nonabsorbent base material

A cleaning fluid for cleaning a site to which ink adheres in an inkjet printer which ejects aqueous inkjet ink containing a pigment and alkali-soluble resin having an acid group in a molecule, wherein the cleaning fluid contains an amphoteric surfactant, a basic compound, and water, a pH range of the cleaning fluid is from 9 to 12, the amphoteric surfactant is at least one selected from a group consisting of dimethyl lauryl amine oxide, lauryl dimethyl amino acetic acid betaine and a 2-al-kyl-n-carboxymethyl-n-hydroxyethyl imidazolinium betaine and is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 3% by mass to the total amount of the cleaning fluid.
