A first coil includes a first end and a second end. A second coil includes a third end and a fourth end. A secondary winding includes a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor is sandwiched between the first end and the third end in a first direction and is conductively connected to the first end and the third end. The second conductor is sandwiched between the second end and the fourth end in the first direction and is conductively connected to the second end and the fourth end. The first end and the second end are arranged in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The third end and the fourth end are arranged in the second direction. The first conductor and the second conductor are arranged in the second direction.

Transformer

A composite component includes a primary winding, a secondary winding, a coil, a first terminal, a second terminal, a third terminal, a fourth terminal, a fifth terminal, a sixth terminal, and wiring. The primary winding and the secondary winding in combination function as a transformer. The secondary winding is connected between the third terminal and the fourth terminal. The fifth terminal functions as a center tap of the secondary winding. The sixth terminal is connected to the first terminal via the wiring and the primary winding. The sixth terminal is connected to the second terminal via the wiring and the coil. A first portion of the primary winding that is connected to the wiring, a second portion of the coil that is connected to the wiring, and the wiring constitute a three-way junction.

Composite component

The present disclosure aims to avoid a situation where a drive unit to be used for precharge does not drive due to a drop in power supply voltage. The power supply device is provided with the first voltage conversion unit and the control unit. The first voltage conversion unit performs a third voltage conversion operation in which a voltage applied to a second conductive path is boosted and an output voltage is output to a first conductive path to which a capacitive component is electrically connected. The control unit supplies the third control signal to only some of the plurality of first voltage conversion units, thereby causing the some of the first voltage conversion units to perform the third voltage conversion operation.

In-vehicle power supply device

The present disclosure aims to reduce the changes that a control unit receiving power supplied from a power supply cannot perform control of a precharge operation even if the power supply voltage drops. In a power supply device, a reverse-flow prevention switching element is configured such that a plurality of semiconductor switching elements are connected in parallel with each other. The control unit, in accordance with a predetermined precharge condition being fulfilled, causes the second voltage conversion unit to perform the second voltage conversion operation by supplying a second control signal for switching to an ON signal and an OFF signal alternately to only some of the plurality of semiconductor switching elements constituting the reverse-flow prevention switching element.

A DC-DC converter is provided with: a first switching circuit in which a first element unit and a second element unit are provided in series between a first conductive path and a reference conductive path; a second switching circuit in which a third element unit and a fourth element unit are provided in series between the first conductive path and the reference conductive path; a first inductor that is connected between a connection node that connects the third element unit and the fourth element unit, and a second conductive path; and a second inductor that is connected between a connection node that connects the first element unit and the second element unit, and the connection node that connects the third element unit and the fourth element unit. A drive unit controls the first switching circuit and the second switching circuit.

DC-DC converter

A DC-DC converter includes a protection function for handling a reverse connection state, and a protection function for handling a predetermined abnormality other than a reverse connection state, while reducing conduction loss. The DC-DC converter includes a first protection circuit unit, and a switching element on a first conductive path of a high-voltage side switches to an OFF state upon a predetermined abnormal state being detected to prevent a current from flowing into a voltage conversion unit. Furthermore, a reverse connection protection circuit unit and a switching element, on a third conductive path between the voltage conversion unit and a reference conductive path, is configured to switch to an off state if at least a low-voltage side power supply unit is in a reverse connection state, preventing a current from the reference conductive path. Thus, a current is prevented from flowing toward a power supply that is improperly connected.

DC-DC converter with protection circuit limits

The present invention realizes a DC-DC converter that is provided with a reverse flow protection function, while reducing conduction loss. A DC-DC converter includes: a voltage conversion unit that steps down a voltage applied to a first conductive path and output the resulting voltage to a second conductive path; a reverse flow state detection unit that detects a reverse flow state of a current flowing through the second conductive path; and a reverse protection control unit that performs a protecting operation when a current flows in a reverse direction. A switching element is provided on a third conductive path that is located between a voltage conversion unit and a reference conductive path, and the reverse protection control unit operates to switch the switching element to an OFF state upon a reverse flow state being detected.

DC-DC converter having a reverse flow protection function

A control portion and semiconductor switches included in a power supply system function as a current control device. The source of the semiconductor switch is connected to the source of the semiconductor switch. The two semiconductor switches connect the respective positive electrodes of a first power storage element and a second power storage element to each other. The control portion controls a current flowing between the drains of the two semiconductor switches by substantially simultaneously turning on or off the two semiconductor switches. The respective breakdown voltages between the drain and the source of the two semiconductor switches are different from each other.
