A display system includes a display device and a remote terminal device. The display device includes an image shooting device, an image recognizer, and a display controller. The image recognizer recognizes real objects in an image shot by the image shooting device, and recognizes positions of the recognized real objects on space coordinates. The display controller superimposes a virtual object at a designated position on the space coordinates in the shot image. The image recognizer recognizes a gesture of the real object at the designated position of the virtual object in the shot image. The display controller executes image processing on the virtual object in response to the recognized gesture.

Display system and server

A control device that is mounted in a second vehicle which a first vehicle having a following travel function is detachably connected to or loaded on is provided. The control device includes a control unit configured to perform: detecting another vehicle that is within a predetermined range from the second vehicle in a state in which the second vehicle has the first vehicle connected thereto or loaded thereon and of which some or all of a scheduled travel route is the same as some or all of a scheduled travel route of the first vehicle after the first vehicle has been disconnected from the second vehicle; and transmitting following instruction information to the first vehicle and disconnecting the first vehicle from the second vehicle such that the first vehicle travels with the detected other vehicle as a preceding vehicle by the following travel function.

A guidance display system includes an AR display device and a server. The AR display device includes a display unit and a display control unit configured to display, on the display unit, an augmented reality image in which an image of a virtual object for guidance is superimposed on scenery of a real world. The server is wirelessly connected to the display device. The server includes a theme park-specific character storage unit, a 3D model extraction unit, and a transmission unit. The theme park-specific character storage unit stores character information set for a theme park. The 3D model extraction unit extracts the character of the theme park set as the destination, as a virtual object for guidance. The transmission unit transmits the image data of the extracted virtual object for guidance to the display control unit of the AR display device.

Guidance display system and server of guidance display system

When a theme park that is a facility configured based on a specific theme is set as a departure point, an AR display device transmits information of the theme park of the departure point to a server. The server includes a theme park-specific character storage unit and a transmission unit. The theme park-specific character storage unit stores information on a character set for the theme park of the departure point. The transmission unit transmits, to the AR display device, image data of the character set for the theme park of the departure point, with the character being set as a virtual object of the departure point.

A window member is joined to a surface of a window-opening peripheral edge on an inside of a vehicle cabin through an adhesive to cover a window opening. A dam member for separating the window-opening peripheral edge and the window member from each other at a predetermined interval is interposed between the window-opening peripheral edge and the window member. The dam member is set at a position closer to an inner peripheral end of the window-opening peripheral edge than a set position of the adhesive when viewed in a penetrating direction of the window opening.

Fixed window for vehicle

A method manufactures a composite member that can exert a sufficient effect of reinforcing a metal part with a fiber-reinforced resin material when the metal part is obtained by bending a tubular member. The method firstly bends a tubular metal member having a plate-like outer wall extending in the longitudinal direction so that compressive stress acts on the outer wall to manufacture the metal part. Next the method prepares a plate-like metal plate. Next the method attaches a fiber-reinforced resin material to a surface of the prepared metal plate, the fiber-reinforced resin material including a fiber substrate containing reinforcement fibers having one orientation direction and impregnated with uncured thermosetting resin, followed by thermally curing of the thermosetting resin to prepare a reinforcement member. Next the method joins the metal plate of the reinforcement member to the surface of the outer wall of the metal part.

Method for manufacturing composite member

A front pillar structure includes a first skeleton portion, a second skeleton portion extending along the first skeleton portion with a gap therebetween, and a connecting member. A cross-section of the first skeleton portion is a hollow closed cross-section and a width of the first skeleton portion in a horizontal direction orthogonal to a gaze direction of a driver seated in a driver's seat is equal to or less than a standard pupillary distance. A cross-section of the second skeleton portion is a hollow closed cross-section and a width of the second skeleton portion in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the gaze direction is equal to or less than the standard pupillary distance. The connecting member is transparent and is disposed between the first skeleton portion and the second skeleton portion.

A vehicle pillar structure that includes: a first framework section that extends along a first vehicle width direction side edge of a front windshield of a vehicle; a second framework section that is provided so as to form a gap toward a vehicle rear and vehicle width direction outer side of the first framework section, that extends along the first framework section; and a see-through section that is formed so as to be see-through and that spans between the first framework section and the second framework section, wherein the first framework section and the second framework section are each formed with a closed cross-section as viewed along their length directions, and at least one of a rear edge corner of the first framework section or a front edge corner of the second framework section is formed with a beveled profile.

A vehicle pillar structure including: a pillar outer panel that extends with a length direction substantially in a vehicle vertical direction and configures a first part of a vehicle pillar, the vehicle pillar including a first column extending substantially along the vehicle vertical direction and a second column disposed at a predetermined spacing from the first column and extending substantially along the vehicle vertical direction; a pillar inner panel that configures a second part of the vehicle pillar, that extends with a length direction in the substantially vehicle vertical direction so as to face the pillar outer panel; and a weld portion at which an end in a short direction of one of the pillar outer panel or the pillar inner panel is abutted against a flat face provided at the other of the pillar outer panel or the pillar inner panel, and welded to the flat face.
