A vehicle power transmission device equipped with a crank type transmission unit is provided in which since a first sprocket provided on an input shaft upstream portion and a second sprocket provided on an output shaft downstream portion are connected by an endless chain, and a dog clutch is disposed between the input shaft main body portion and the input shaft upstream portion, when the input shaft main body portion is seized and becomes non-rotatable, the dog clutch is disengaged so as to detach the input shaft upstream portion from the input shaft main body portion, and the driving force of an engine is transmitted to the output shaft downstream portion via the input shaft upstream portion, the first sprocket, the endless chain and the second sprocket, thereby enabling the vehicle to travel in the minimum necessary way.

Vehicle power transmission device

A vehicle power transmission device including a crank type continuously variable transmission mechanism is provided with a forward/reverse switching mechanism disposed between an output shaft and a driven wheel, a transmission shaft relatively rotatably fitted around an outer periphery of the output shaft, an auxiliary power transmission device configured to provide a connection between an input shaft and the transmission shaft, a first outer peripheral spline provided on the transmission shaft, second and third outer peripheral splines provided on the output shaft, an inner peripheral spline that can switch between a first state, a second state, and a third state, and a second one-way clutch provided between the output shaft and the second outer peripheral spline and that is engaged when a rotational speed of the output shaft exceeds a rotational speed of the second outer peripheral spline.

A selector device disposed between a transmission and a differential gear includes a first output shaft connected to the transmission, a second output shaft connected to the differential gear, a third output shaft relatively rotatably fitted on an outer periphery of the second output shaft, a planetary gear mechanism having a sun gear connected to the third output shaft and a ring gear connected to the differential gear, a first meshing switching mechanism that is capable of switching between a state in which the first and third output shafts are joined and the second output shaft is detached and a state in which the first to third output shafts are joined, and a second meshing switching mechanism that is capable of joining a carrier of the planetary gear mechanism to a casing.

Vehicular power transmission device

In a drive control device in a drive system including a four joint link mechanism type continuously variable transmission having a one-way clutch (OWC) which can transmit only power from a power source to driving wheels, the drive control device is configured to limit a transmission ratio or an output of the power source when an output speed of the continuously variable transmission is lower than a threshold value. The threshold value is represented as an output speed of the continuously variable transmission at an intersection point of a line that represents an output torque where a maximum driving force is achieved and a line that represents a torque outputted when a swing angle of an input member of the OWC which converts rotational power from the power source into swing power becomes a maximum torsion angle.

Drive control device

To suppress flexure of an input shaft of a four-joint link type continuously variable transmission. The four-joint link type variable transmission is equipped with a hollow input shaft, an output shaft, an eccentric mechanism, a swing link, a one-way rotation preventing mechanism, a connecting rod, and a pinion shaft inserted into the input shaft. The connecting rod has, at one end portion, a large-diameter annular portion externally fitted to the eccentric mechanism so as to be capable of rotating freely, and the other end coupled to a swing end portion of the swing link. To the pinion shaft, a roller bearing for pinion supporting the input shaft is provided.

Four-joint link type continuously variable transmission

One-way clutches OWCand OWCare provided on output sides of transmissions TMand TM, and the transmissions TMand TMmechanically lock when the output memberof the one-way clutches OWCand OWCis reversely rotated to the backward side. Clutch mechanisms CLand CLare interposed between the output memberand a driving target memberconnected to a driving wheel. According to uphill start conditions, a controllermakes any one of the clutch mechanisms CLand CLenter ON state when a vehicle-backward-movement prevention control is determined to be required and the controllermakes the clutch mechanisms CLand CLenter OFF state when the vehicle-backward-movement prevention control is determined to be not required. Thus, it is possible to provide a vehicle driving system capable of performing a hill hold assist function with a simple control.

Vehicle driving system and control method thereof

An automobile driving system includes an engine and a transmission. The transmission includes a variable gear ratio mechanism and a gear ratio of the transmission can be set to infinity. A one-way clutch is provided at an output portion of the transmission. At a time of a engine stopping controller controlling to stop the engine, a transmission-and-control device uses inertia from the engine up to an input member of the one-way clutch as assisting force for driving operations of the variable gear ratio mechanism to change the gear ratio at the transmission to infinity or close to infinity, before the engine actually stops.
