A manufacturing process for filler tube includes: a workpiece arrangement step of arranging a workpiece onto an outer peripheral mold not only to axially lock a to-be-locked portion with respect to a locking portion but also so as to make the outer peripheral mold, which is set at a predetermined temperature, support a cylinder-shaped body of the workpiece on the outer peripheral face; and a flare-molding step of flare molding a flange by inserting an inner peripheral mold, which is set at a higher temperature than the predetermined temperature of the outer peripheral mold, into a to-be-molded portion on the inner peripheral side, and by relatively moving the outer peripheral mold and the inner peripheral mold in the axial direction to make a counter-welding-face forming portion and a welding-face forming portion clamp the to-be-molded portion between them in the axial direction.

Manufacturing process for filler tube

A quick connector includes paired first legs having a first push-in inhibiting protrusion, and paired second legs having a second push-in inhibiting protrusion. Although the first push-in inhibiting protrusions inhibit the push-in movements of a retainer in a state before a pipe is inserted, they do not inhibit the push-in movements of the retainer in such another state as the pipe is located at a midway position. The second push-in inhibiting protrusions inhibit the push-in movements of the retainer in the other state where the pipe is located at the midway position.

Quick connector

An oil filler port of the capless oil feeder includes: an oil filler port main body made of a resin, a breather tube portion made of the resin, and a flap valve. The oil filler port main body has a tubular shape and includes a nozzle insertion port for inserting an oil filler nozzle at one end and a fuel feed port for supplying fuel to a filler tube at the other end. The breather tube portion is formed integrally on an outer side of a peripheral surface of the oil filler port main body and connected to a breather tube. The flap valve is foamed to be insertable from the fuel feed port, and is disposed inside the oil filler port main body to close the nozzle insertion port and is opened by insertion of the oil filler nozzle.

Capless oil feeder and manufacturing method therefor

In a quick connector of the present invention, each of a pair of retaining legs includes a guide protrusion guided by the outer peripheral face of an annular boss to spreadingly deform each of the pair of the retaining legs when a pushing-in load is applied to a retainer in a state where the retainer is located at an initial position and in a state where a pipe is inserted into a normal position of the connector body and at the same time releasing the movement restriction of the retainer from the initial position to a confirmation position by the spreading deformation of each of the pair of the retaining legs.

The resinous filler port includes: a filler-port body including a nozzle insertion port through which a filler nozzle is insertable, a fuel supply port supplying a fuel supplied from the filler nozzle to a fuel tank by way of a filler tube, and a vapor inlet port letting flow in vapors arising from the fuel and passing through a breather tube from a side of the fuel tank; a joint formed to penetrate through from one of opposite ends thereof to another one of the opposite ends, fitted undetachably into and around the vapor inlet port at the one of the opposite ends, and connected with the breather tube at the other one of the opposite ends; and a flow control valve accommodated inside the joint, and controlling a flow volume of the vapors flowing into the filler-port body from the breather tube.

Resinous filler port

A filler tube, which is capable of satisfying required functions suitably in compliance with the bellows and non-bellows cylindrical base while securing weld strength and fuel-permeation resistance property in the weld face, is provided. A filler tube includes a non-bellows cylindrical base with a total thickness of from 2 to 4 mm, a bellows with a total thickness of from 0.5 to 3 mm, and a flange having a total thickness of from 3.5 to 5 mm, and including an end face to be welded to a fuel tank. The non-bellows cylindrical base, the bellows, and the flange include inner layers formed so as to have a thickness accounting for from 40 to 60% of the total thicknesses, and formed of high-density polyethylene (or HDPE) serving as the major constituent, intermediate layers exhibiting fuel-permeation resistance property, and outer layers protecting the intermediate layers.

Filler tube and manufacturing process for the same

A fuel hose is provided, which includes an inner tube including a rubber layer and a rubber layer, a resin layer provided around an outer periphery of the inner tube and comprising a thermoplastic resin as a major component, and an outer tube provided around an outer periphery of the resin layer and including a reinforcement thread layer and a rubber layer. The inner tube of the fuel hose has a dynamic loss (Tan &#x3b4;) of 0.3 to 1.2. The fuel hose has an outer diameter change ratio of not greater than 10% and a volume change ratio of not less than 15% when the internal pressure of the hose is increased by 1 MPa. The fuel hose is less costly, and has a fuel permeation resistance (fuel barrier property) as well as a pulsation suppressing property.

Fuel hose

A quick connector, which can securely demonstrate the lock confirmation function by a checker when a piped body is reinserted, is provided. A checker includes reinsertion-inhibiting bosses. Thus, when a piped body is inserted through an opening of a retainer again in such a state as the checker is moved to the lock confirmation position after the piped body has been pulled from out of a housing and the retainer in such a state as the checker is moved to the release position, the reinsertion-inhibiting bosses hock up onto an annular boss, thereby inhibiting the piped body from being inserted into the retainer and housing.

Each detecting leg includes a detection portion provided on the end side of the detecting leg to protrude inward in the diametric direction, and contacting with an annular boss at an initial position, and a push-in inhibition portion provided in the detecting leg on the side of a base from the detection portion, locked in the push-in direction to a connector body in a state where the detecting leg does not bend to the inner side in the axial direction at the initial position, and put in such a state as being not locked in the push-in direction to the connector body in a state where the detecting leg bends to the inner side in the axial direction.
