A method of manufacturing a display not needing a complicated post-process for forming a reflecting mirror film and allowing degradation in an organic light-emitting device to be prevented, and a display. The method of manufacturing a display includes the steps of: forming a plurality of organic light-emitting devices in a display region on a substrate to form a light-emitting panel; forming projection-shaped reflection elements corresponding to the plurality of organic light-emitting devices, respectively, on a base to form a reflector; forming an adhesive layer along an outer edge of the light-emitting panel; and bonding the light-emitting panel and the reflector together with the adhesive layer in a vacuum atmosphere, thereby to form a vacuum layer in a space between the light-emitting panel and the reflector.

In one embodiment, a light-emitting device includes an optical part which is configured to prevent the formation of a residual film and to enhance light extraction efficiency. In one embodiment, an optical part as a reflective plate is arranged on a light extraction side of a light-emitting panel. In one embodiment, a plurality of optical function elements are formed independently of one another on a base of the optical part. In one embodiment, a residual film which is an optically unnecessary part between the base and the plurality of optical function elements is eliminated to prevent unnecessary light guiding, reflection or the like to the residual film. In one embodiment, in a light-emitting device including the optical part, stray light due to unnecessary light guiding or reflection to the residual film is reduced, and an improvement in light extraction efficiency achievable.

A method and optical component prevent external light reflection and increase light extraction efficiency. In one example embodiment, an optical component is provided on a light extraction side of a light-emitting panel. After a shielding film shaped like a lattice or a mesh is formed on a transparent substrate, a resist film is formed, the resist film is irradiated with ultraviolet light UV from the back side of the substrate by using the shielding film as a mask, and development is carried out, so that an optical functional element is formed. The planar shape of the undersurface of the optical functional element is the same as the planar shape of the lattice or the mesh of the shielding film, and a positioning error between the optical functional element and the shielding film becomes extremely small.

According to the present invention, a jet flow generating apparatus comprises a plurality of chambers each having an opening and each containing a coolant, a vibrating mechanism for vibrating the coolant contained in each of the plurality of chambers so as to discharge the coolant as a pulsating flow through the openings, and a control unit for controlling the vibration of the vibrating mechanism so that the sound waves generated by the coolant discharged from the plurality of chambers weaken each other.

In this state, the incident light is caused the total reflection at a total reflection face. This total reflection light is emitted from the other V-shaped trench. The incident light can be switched in two ways: the transmission light and the total reflection light.

A structure in which first to third diodes cause signal beams which are produced by modulating image signals to be incident upon corresponding first to third light deflection scanning sections. The first to third light deflection scanning sections perform line scanning operations using the incident light signal beams. First to third light amplifiers amplify the light signal beams used for the line scanning to necessary brightnesses. A light-wave synthesizer synthesizes the amplified light signal beams into one light beam. A light post scanning section performs frame scanning using the synthesized light beam in order to project it onto a screen. Accordingly, it is possible to display a highly bright image at a low cost on a large screen that realizes high definition and color reproducibility.
