A range switching apparatus of a shift-by-wire system has: a main motor; a deceleration mechanism that amplifies torque generated by the main motor; an output shaft that outputs the torque amplified by the deceleration mechanism; an auxiliary motor; and an emergency drive mechanism. The emergency drive mechanism is disposed on the auxiliary motor shaft of the auxiliary motor, and that is connected to or disconnected from the deceleration mechanism by driving of the auxiliary motor. The emergency drive mechanism transfers output of the auxiliary motor to the deceleration mechanism, and rotates the output shaft by being connected to the deceleration mechanism.

There is obtained an automatic transmission control apparatus that makes it possible that even when an abnormality occurs in a sensor for detecting a motor rotation angle or the like, control of an automatic transmission is appropriately performed. Inputted first, second, and third detection signals are compared with one another; it is determined that at least two detection signals, out of these detection signals, that coincide with each other are normal and another detection signal is abnormal; then, based on the result of the determination, switching of the ranges of the automatic transmission is controlled.

Range change device

A range switching device includes: a range switching portion having an output shaft rotatably supported inside a housing and switchable to ranges corresponding to output shaft turning positions; a motor attached with its motor shaft spaced apart from a shaft center of the output shaft; a reducer mechanism linked to the motor and the range switching portion; and a control board controlling rotation of the motor. The reducer mechanism has a planetary gear reducer mechanism formed of a sun gear, planetary gears, an internal gear, and a carrier supporting the planetary gears, and a spur gear reducer mechanism formed of a pinion and a main gear linked to the pinion. The control board is installed oppositely to the output shaft and the motor.

Range switching device

An air-intake control apparatus of an internal combustion engine formed by attaching a flange portion provided to an end portion of a drive motor to a cylindrical hole portion. A throttle body has at least one positioning projection (or recess) provided to an inner wall of the cylindrical hole portion. The drive motor complementarily has at least one positioning recess (or projection) provided to the flange portion at a position corresponding to the positioning projection (or recess). The drive motor is attached to the cylindrical hole portion while the positioning recess (or projection) abuts on the positioning projection (or recess) in such a manner that a center distance between a motor shaft and a throttle shaft takes a predetermined value. Hence, not only attachment workability but also attachment accuracy of the drive motor can be enhanced. The air-intake control device therefore has higher product reliability.

Air-intake control apparatus of internal combustion engine

In the intake air quantity control device for an internal combustion engine, in which an open area formed at a portion of the throttle body is encapsulated by a cover including a rotational angle detector, a throttle gear is fixed to a throttle shaft for rotatably supporting a throttle valve and has a fitting portion at a portion of the throttle gear. The rotational angle detector includes a rotor that is rotatably supported and arranged in the cover in such a way that an axis of the rotor is identical to an axis of the throttle gear, and a lever that is provided at a portion of the rotor, which is faced to the throttle shaft, and engaged to a wall portion of the throttle gear at a portion of the lever.

An throttle body for rotating a valve shaft of an air-intake throttle valve through a decelerating mechanism by a motor and change the opening area of an air-intake passage by rotating the valve shaft is equipped with a lever portion that is disposed so as to be interlocked with the decelerating mechanism and regulates the opening degree of the air-intake throttle valve under the full-open state, and an adjusting screw that is threadably inserted from the outside of the body portion and abuts against the lever portion in the body portion to change the opening degree of the air-intake throttle valve under the full-open state.

The present invention attains downsizing of a permanent magnet with a simple structure to reduce a manufacturing cost thereof. Provided is a rotation angle detection device, including: a cylindrical magnetic circuit mounted to a shaft; and non-contact sensors provided in an inner void of the magnetic circuit, in which the magnetic circuit is composed of a first yoke and a second yoke formed of a magnetic material and having a pair of flat portions parallel and opposed to each other, and a pair of permanent magnets whose magnetic poles are aligned in the same direction so that magnetic fields whose magnetic fluxes are parallel to each other are generated in the void between the flat portions, and the non-contact sensor detects a rotation angle of the shaft by detecting a change in the direction of the magnetic fluxes.

A rotation angle detecting apparatus includes: a first permanent magnet; a second permanent magnet disposed so as to face the first permanent magnet, the second permanent magnet rotating together with a shaft; an arc-shaped first magnetic member and second magnetic member fixed to the first permanent magnet and the second permanent magnet; and a magnetic resistor disposed in an air gap formed between the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member so as to be axially aligned with the shaft, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member each including: a projecting portion pointed at the magnetic resistor; and a wall portion surrounding the magnetic resistor so as to prevent influence from external magnetic fields.

Rotation angle detecting apparatus

A rotation angle detection apparatus is capable of preventing an eddy current and radio wave noise from being transmitted from outside to a yoke and a permanent magnet through a metal plate, and thence to a non-contact sensor through radiation as it is. The apparatus includes a yoke, a permanent magnet that is arranged on an inner wall surface with magnetic flux flowing from its N pole to its S pole through an inner space thereof, a metal plate formed integral with the yoke and the permanent magnet through a resin by insert molding, and a non-contact sensor arranged in the inner space of the permanent magnet. Between the metal plate and the individual end faces of the yoke and the permanent magnet, there is interposed a high impedance member that prevents radio wave noise from flowing from the metal plate to the yoke and the permanent magnet.

An intake-air control device for an internal combustion engine in which a sensor member can be positioned further accurately is provided. A throttle position sensor includes magnetic field generating means and a magnetic field detecting assembly. The magnetic field detecting assembly includes a plurality of terminal leads, a resin holder secured on the plurality of terminal leads, a sensor member generating a sensor output, and a resin mold body including the plurality of terminal leads, the holder, and the sensor member insert-molded. The resin holder includes a supporting surface which is located on a plane intersecting substantially perpendicularly to an axial line of a throttle shaft, and the sensor member includes a resin mold coat having first and second main surfaces opposing substantially in parallel to each other. The sensor member is held in the resin mold body with the first main surface of the resin mold coat in contact with the supporting surface.

Intake-air control device for internal combustion engine

An intake air quantity controlling device for an internal combustion engine that includes a shaft, a throttle valve, a final spur gear, a drive motor, a full closure stopper, a full opening stopper, and a collision portion. The shaft is rotatably provided across an intake passage. The throttle valve is fixed to the shaft. The final spur gear is fixed to an end portion of the shaft. The drive motor applies a rotational force to the final spur gear. A full closure stopper determines a full closure position of the throttle valve, and full opening stopper determines a full opening position of the throttle valve. The final spur gear is provided with the collision portion, which collides with the full closure stopper and the full opening stopper to stop rotation of the final spur gear. The collision portion has a notch portion formed therein, defining a full-closure-side collision member that is elastically deformed through collision with the full closure stopper and a full-opening-side collision member that is elastically deformed through collision with the full opening stopper.
