An ink follower for a writing tool arranged in close contact with an ink surface of a terminal portion of an ink reservoir opposite to a writing tip portion comprises a swollen gel formed from an oil-absorbable resin, a base oil of polybutene, and an alkyl-modified silicone oil compatible with the polybutene. The ink follower exhibits improved impact resistance without causing insufficient ink following and oil separation.

Push button type ballpoint pen

A dual heat source high-temperature regenerator to solve problems involved in two types of conventional high-temperature regenerators for carrying out heating by using a dedicated burner as the heat source and by using exhaust gas supplied from outside systems as the heat source; namely, the former type has a problem of higher running costs, and the latter a problem of narrower ranges for capacity control. The dual heat source high-temperature regenerator arranges two inner shells and inside an outer shell to form combustion and exhaust gas flues, respectively. The combustion gas flue has a sideways U shape as a whole. The lower end is equipped with a burner, and the upper end connected to an exhaust duct. The exhaust gas flue,has a horizontal, straight shape as a whole. One end is provided with an exhaust gas inlet, and the other end connected to an exhaust duct. The portions where a dilute absorbent liquor collects heat easily are the vertical-stroke portion on the sideways U of the combustion gas flue and the vicinity of the end of the exhaust gas flue making the exhaust gas inlet. The vertical-stroke portion and the exhaust gas inlet are collected to the same side so that the convection current of the dilute absorbent liquor produces a smooth circulation of the liquor as shown by broken lines in the drawings.

There is provided an ink capable of being used in a ballpoint pen, the ink comprising: 2 to 10% by weight of a dye, 20 to 30% by weight of a wetting agent, 5 to 10% by weight of urea, 0.2 to 0.4% by weight of cross-linked acrylic acid polymer, 0.05 to 0.2% by weight of xanthan gum, 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of sorbitol, and the balance, water.

Single-and double-effect absorption refrigerator

At least one fuzzy rule includes two antecedent input variables and two membership functions for the two input variables. Absorption refrigeration system

The present application discloses an absorption refrigerating system which comprises a main generator constituted by a high temperature generator to evaporate and separate a refrigerant from an absorbent with a high temperature heat source being utilized as a heat source, and a low temperature generator to separate a refrigerant from the absorbent with the refrigerant evaporated at the high temperature generator being utilized as a heat source; an auxiliary generator to separate a refrigerant from the absorbent with a low temperature heat source being utilized as a heat source; a condenser; an evaporator; an absorber or the like; and in which said devices above-mentioned are connected by refrigerant lines and absorbent lines to form the circulation cycles of the refrigerant and the absorbent. In such an absorption refrigerating system, the auxiliary generator and the low temperature generator are separately housed in a common housing such that a same level pressure is applied to the auxiliary generator and the low temperature generator and such that the respective solutions in the auxiliary generator and the low temperature generator are not mixed with each other. There is disposed an absorbent line for connecting the absorber to the auxiliary generator and there is also disposed an absorbent pump at the absorbent line for connecting the auxiliary generator to the main generator.

Absorption refrigerating system

This application discloses a single effect and double effect absorption refrigerating system, in which water is used as a refrigerant and LiBr as an absorbent, for example. A refrigerating cycle is formed by connecting in an air-tight manner a high temperature generator to be heated by a high temperature heat source, a first low temperature generator to be heated by refrigerant vapor separated from a dilute solution in said high temperature generator, a condenser, an evaporator, an absorber, a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger by means of refrigerant lines, dilute solution lines and dense solution lines. A second low temperature generator to be heated by a low temperature heat source is disposed between one of the dilute solution lines and one of the dense solution lines so as to communicate with said condenser, whereby the supply of a solution and a fuel to said high temperature generator may be controlled dependent on the heating capacity of said second low temperature generator. Dependent on the low temperature heat source and loads, the operation mode of the absorption refrigerating system may selectively be switched to either a single effect operation, or a double effect operation, or a single effect-double effect combined operation, thereby to realize the effective use of energy and a stable switching operation.
