In a double eccentric valve, a valve seat or valve body includes a rubber seal part in which a seat surface or seal surface is formed. An interference between the valve seat and the valve body is made minimum at a position of a rotary-shaft-directional end of the valve body in the radial direction of the valve body which is parallel to an extending direction of the axis of a rotary shaft.

Double eccentric valve

A fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell for generating electricity with the supply of hydrogen gas and air, a hydrogen supply unit for supplying the hydrogen gas to the fuel cell, an air supply unit for supplying the air to the fuel cell, and a produced water atomizing apparatus for atomizing the produced water produced in association with electricity generation in the fuel cell and emitting the atomized water to the atmosphere. The air supply unit includes an air pump for pressure-feeding the air to the fuel cell, and the produced water atomizing apparatus includes an aspirator to atomize the produced water by use of the air emitted from the air pump as operation air. The air emitted from the air pump is cooled by an intercooler. The air utilized in the aspirator as the operation air is supplied to the aspirator on an upstream side of the intercooler.

Fuel cell system

A fuel supply apparatus according to the present invention includes vapor production determining means for determining whether or not the vapor of the fuel is producible, and control means (ECU) for operating a passage resistance adjusting means of a pressure adjusting mechanism to cause increase of the pressure of the fuel supplied to an injector insomuch as the production of the vapor is inhibited when the vapor production determining means has determined a vapor producible condition.

Control devices for fuel pump driving motors

A fuel injection device is provided with a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber and an air injection valve for the injection of air into the combustion chamber. One fuel injection orifice which opens into the combustion chamber is provided correspondingly to the fuel injection valve and plural air injection orifices which open into the combustion chamber are provided correspondingly to the air injection valve. A design is made so that fuel and air injected from the fuel injection orifice and the air injection orifices come into collision with each other at a collision point. The shape, size and direction of the fuel injection orifice are specified. Likewise, the number, shape, size and direction of the air injection orifice, as well as its arrangement relative to the fuel injection orifice, are specified. A design is made so that the size of a fuel spray and that of air jets at the collision point become equal to each other. A fuel injection control device is provided with various sensors for detecting an operating condition of an engine and an electronic control unit (ECU) for controlling the fuel injection valve and the air injection valve each independently. For controlling a spray penetration distance, a spray particle diameter and a spray shape of the fuel injected from the fuel injection orifice, the ECU, on the basis of the detected operating condition of the engine, controls the fuel injection valve and also controls at least one of timing and period of air injection performed by the air injection valve.

Direct injection type fuel injection device and fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine

A fuel injection device includes a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel through a fuel injection orifice opening into a combustion chamber, an air injection valve for injecting air through an air injection orifice opening into the combustion chamber, sensors for detecting an operating condition of an engine, and an electronic control unit (ECU) for controlling the fuel injection valve and the air injection valve. Orientations of the air injection orifice and the fuel injection orifice are determined to make an air jet collide with a fuel spray. The ECU controls the fuel injection valve based on the operating condition detected by the sensors to control spray velocity, spray particle diameter, spray angle, etc. of the fuel to be injected through the fuel injection orifice, and at least one of an air injection timing and an air injection period of air injection to be performed by the air injection valve.

Fuel injection control devices for internal combustion engines

Driving circuitry for an electromagnetic fuel injection valve in which the holding current value is made variable to obtain a minimum necessary holding force from the holding current according to the fuel pressure includes a solenoid for driving the fuel injection valve, a capacitor charged by a high-voltage charge control part, a switch circuit for on-off controlling a high-voltage current supplied from the capacitor to the solenoid in response to an injection command signal, and a holding current supply circuit for supplying a holding current from the power supply to the solenoid. When the holding current is supplied, a comparator circuit compares a voltage obtained by converting the value of electric current flowing through the solenoid by a resistor for detection and a voltage corresponding to a fuel pressure sensor signal, and the value of the holding current is varied according to an output signal from the comparator circuit.

Driving circuitry for electromagnetic fuel injection valve

In a fuel discharge preventive device of a gas engine, in order to prevent high-pressure gaseous fuel remaining in a fuel distributing pipe when an engine is stopped, from leaking out of a gaseous fuel injection valve to be discharged to the open air, a fuel shut-off valve is provided in a fuel feed passage through which gaseous fuel is fed to the gaseous fuel injection valve, and a suction passage communicating with a gaseous fuel storing portion is branched off from the fuel feed passage between the gaseous fuel injection valve and the fuel shut-off valve, so that the gaseous fuel in a potion of the fuel feed passage located between the gaseous fuel injection valve and the fuel shut-off valve is stored in the gaseous fuel storing portion after the engine is stopped and hence the fuel shut-off valve is closed, while the stored fuel is purged to the engine when the engine is being operated.

In a d.c. solenoid in which a thermistor having a positive temperature coefficient is connected in series with a main coil, a subcoil is connected in parallel with the series connection of the main coil and the thermistor, so that a large magnetic force can be produced at the solenoid energization starting time, and generation of heat from the thermistor can be suppressed to prevent burn-out of the main coil due to continuous current supply. Both the main coil and the subcoil, when energized alone, are capable of actuating the solenoid. The d.c. solenoid is applied to a valve in a vaporized fuel absorption system.

D.C. solenoid

A device for preventing an outflow of a fuel vapor from a fuel tank comprising a breather pipe which connects the upper interior of the fuel tank to a charcoal canister. A float-valve assembly is mounted on the upper wall of the fuel tank. This assembly comprises a breather passage connected to the charcoal canister via the breather pipe, a normally closed solenoid valve arranged in the breather passage, and a float normally allowing the breather passage to be open to the interior of the fuel tank. When the replenishment of the fuel tank is carried out, the solenoid valve is opened to feed fuel vapor in the fuel tank into the charcoal canister.
