An entertainment system includes: a robot device capable of acting in an autonomous action mode in a real world; a server device configured to cause a virtual robot associated with the robot device to act in a virtual world; and a terminal device capable of displaying an image of the virtual world in which the virtual robot acts. The server device provides the image of the virtual world to the terminal device. The server device transmits a request from the virtual robot to the robot device. When the robot device acquires the request from the virtual robot, the robot device acts in a collaboration action mode in which collaboration is made with the virtual robot.

In an audio output terminal device, a buffer control unit adjusts the buffer size of a jitter buffer in accordance with the setting of a sound output mode instructed in an instruction receiving unit. When the car navigation system detects that the vehicle approaches the road-to-vehicle communication possible area by a predetermined distance, a vehicle system acquires the communication system of the roadside communication equipment from the roadmap information. And the road-to-vehicle communication equipment is set to the stand-by state of the acquired communication system. When the road-to-vehicle communication equipment receive radio wave from the roadside communication equipment, the road-to-vehicle communication equipment is released from the stand-by state and receives from the roadside communication equipment warning information to prevent the vehicle from possible traffic accident.
