An electrical and optical hybrid film having high resistance to bending. The electrical and optical hybrid film has an optical waveguide film and an electrical wiring film on the optical waveguide film. The electrical and optical hybrid film has, between its opposite ends, a separated section where the electrical wiring film and the optical waveguide film are not secured to each other. The optical waveguide film has, at the separated section, a slit extending in the longitudinal direction, and the slit penetrates the optical waveguide film.

Wavelength conversion apparatus

Flow velocity measuring apparatus and methods using sensors for measuring larger and smaller flow quantities

In a direct fuel injection engine, an ignition coil generates a high voltage applied to a spark plug at a desired ignition time and a similar ignition voltage is then continued to be repeatedly generated at a fixed frequency so that the spark plug generates multiple sparks in each ignition cycle. The number of sparks included in the multiple is reduced as an engine speed rises. The multiple spark generating operation is disabled when the engine is in a high speed and/or high load region of operation.

In an ignition apparatus for an internal combustion engine, an ECU produces an ignition signal to an igniter/coil circuit with an igniter and ignition coil, which in turn sends back a monitor signal for ignition failure determination in the ECU. The ignition signal and the monitor signal are sent through a single signal line. The monitor signal is produced based on a primary current or a secondary current of the ignition coil.

The present invention relates a process to a process of producing an opacified molded product composed mainly of a polypropylene resin. More particularly, according to the present invention, there is provided a process of producing an opacified stretched molded product having a total light transmittance of 50% of less and a density of 0.89 or less including a composition including 100 parts by weight of polypropylene and 3 to 40 parts by weight of a cyclopentadiene petroleum resin and/or a hydrogeneated cyclopentadiene petroleum resin, the molded product being a product stretched in at least one direction. Also provided are methods of producing a resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a crystalline polypropylene and 30 to 40 parts by weight of a copolymer resin comprising a copolymer of a cyclopentadiene compound and an aromatic hydrocarbon or its hydrogenated product, and a stretched molded product thereof.

Process for producing an opacified molded product

The present invention relates to an opacified molded product composed mainly of a polypropylene resin. More particularly, according to the present invention, there are provided an opacified stretched molded product having a total light transmittance of 50% or less and a density of 0.89 or less comprising a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polypropylene and 3 to 40 parts by weight of a cyclopentadiene petroleum resin and/or a hydrogenated cyclopentadiene petroleum resin, the molded product being a product stretched in at least one direction. Also provided are a resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a crystalline polypropylene and 30 to 40 parts by weight of a copolymer resin comprising a copolymer of a cyclopentadiene compound and an aromatic hydrocarbon or its hydrogenated product, a stretched molded product thereof.

Opacified molded product

The disclosed dulled stretched molding of at most 30% in gloss value, which is useful as a general-purpose packaging material, printing paper, tracing paper, etc., is produced from a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a propylene-ethylene lock copolymer and 3 to 40 parts by weight of a cyclopentadiene type petroleum resin having a ring and ball softening point of at least 160.degree. C. through melt extrusion thereof and stretching of the resulting flat extrudate. There also is disclosed a heat-shrinkable foamed molding of at most 0.85 in density and at least 10% in heat shrinkability at 100.degree. C., which is useful as a packaging material, a tying material, a label material, etc. This heat-shrinkable foamed molding is produced from a composition comprising a crystalline propylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer having a crystal melting point of at most 150.degree. C. and 5 to 40 wt. %, based on the copolymer, of a hydrogenated cyclopentadiene type resin having a ring and ball softening point of at least 160.degree. C. through melt extrusion thereof and stretching of the resulting flat extrudate.

Dulled stretched molding and process for producing the same

Opaque laminated and stretched products having a total light transmittance of 50% or less are obtained by laminating at least one side of a layer obtained from a composition in which a crystalline polypropylene is blended with a cyclopentadiene type petroleum resin having a softening point of 160.degree. C. or higher, as measured by the ring-and-ball method, in an amount of 3 to 30% by weight based on the total weight of both, with a layer obtained from a crystalline propylene copolymer having a crystalline melting point lower than that of said crystalline polypropylene by 10.degree. C. or more, and, then, stretching the resulting laminate at a temperature lower than the crystalline melting point of the crystalline polypropylene and the softening point of the cyclopentadiene type petroleum resin and at a stretching ratio of 2 or higher in at least a uniaxial direction.
