A driving assistance device () includes: a somatic nervous system activity detector () detecting a somatic nervous system activity, which is a physical activity, of a driver in association with steering of a vehicle; an autonomic nervous system activity detector () detecting an autonomic nervous system activity, which is a mental activity, of the driver in association with the steering of the vehicle; a somatic nervous system activity controller (perception amount controller ()) which is operable to control the somatic nervous system activity; an autonomic nervous system activity controller (sound effect generator ()) which is operable to control the autonomic nervous system activity; and a psychosomatic state controller (balance controller ()). The psychosomatic state controller causes the somatic nervous system activity controller and the autonomic nervous system activity controller to operate such that the two activities shift to the same side with respect to increase and decrease.

Driving assistance device

A vehicle control system is provided, which includes a steering angle detector configured to detect a steering angle of a steering wheel by the operator, the steering wheel is mounted on the vehicle, a speed detector configured to detect a traveling speed of the vehicle, a reaction-force generator configured to generate a reaction force of the steering wheel, and a controller. The controller includes a processor configured to execute a lateral acceleration calculating module to calculate a lateral acceleration based on the traveling speed and the steering angle, a rigidity characteristic setting module to set the reaction force so that a rigidity value that is a ratio of the reaction force to the steering angle increases as the lateral acceleration increases, and a reaction-force control module to control the reaction-force generator so that the reaction force becomes the reaction-force value set by the rigidity characteristic setting module.

Control system for vehicle

A braking control device for a vehicle is provided, which includes an operating amount detecting part configured to detect an operating amount of a brake pedal, a reaction-force giving part configured to generate a reaction force of the brake pedal, a braking-force generating part configured to generate a braking force for wheels according to the brake pedal operating amount, and an electronic control unit (ECU) electrically connected with them. The ECU includes a processor configured to control the giving part and generating part, and set a braking rigidity characteristic based on a braking rigidity that is a ratio of the reaction force to the operating amount, and a vehicle deceleration. The ECU sets a braking rigidity value so that the braking rigidity value increases as the vehicle deceleration becomes larger. The ECU controls the reaction-force giving part based on the braking rigidity value.

Braking control device for vehicle

A braking control device for a vehicle is provided, which includes an operating amount detecting part configured to detect an operating amount of a brake pedal, a reaction-force giving part configured to generate a reaction force of the brake pedal, a braking-force generating part configured to generate a braking force for wheels, and an ECU electrically connected with them and configured to control the reaction-force giving part and the braking-force generating part, and set a braking characteristic in which the reaction force according to a stepping force of the brake pedal and a deceleration of the vehicle have a logarithmic relationship, and when the reaction force is above a given reaction force. The ECU controls the braking-force generating part based on the braking characteristic while making the deceleration for the reaction force higher than the logarithmic relationship.

A vehicle control apparatus includes: a plurality of operation devices, a plurality of reaction applying devices, a plurality of driving devices, and control device. A vehicle control apparatus includes: a plurality of operation devices receive operations from an occupant; a plurality of driving devices operate a vehicle with operation quantities applied to the plurality of operation devices; and a control device controls the plurality of driving devices. The control device includes: first and second operating characteristics; and correction device. When the occupant operates the second operation devices during execution of operation of the first operation devices, the correction device corrects the second operating characteristics such that the second operation force at the second response start point is equivalent to the first operation force of the first operation devices obtained when the operation of the second operation devices is started.
