A saddle riding type vehicle includes a seat which is supported by a vehicle body and on which a passenger is seated; and an arm rest which is provided to protrude at a side rear position of the seat of the vehicle body and on which an arm of a passenger who is seated on the seat is rested. The arm rest is supported by the vehicle body rotatably between a use position at which a front end part of the arm rest is directed to a vehicle body front direction and a retracted position at which the front end part of the arm rest is directed to a direction other than the vehicle body front direction. A rotation shaft of the arm rest is arranged to be directed to a vehicle body front upper direction from the side rear position of the seat of the vehicle body.

A decompressor for an internal combustion engine that is capable of preventing the dropping-off of the decompression shaft during maintenance work includes a falling-off prevention pin inserted into a pin insertion hole having an opening to the outer circumferential surface of a camshaft and intersecting, at least partially, an insertion hole. A decompression shaft is inserted and fitted into the insertion hole. The falling-off prevention pin engages with the decompression shaft while the decompression shaft is allowed to rotate. The decompression shaft is prevented from moving in the axial direction of the decompression shaft. The opening of the pin insertion hole of the camshaft into which the falling-off prevention pin is inserted is blocked by a bearing. A swing portion includes a bearing-restriction portion formed so as to protrude towards the bearing. The bearing-restrict portion restricts the movement of the bearing in the axial direction of the camshaft.

Decompressor for internal combustion engine

To provide an inner shim that is unlikely to fall off from a spring retainer even when an anomalous operation of a valve occurs. A spring retainer fixed to the upper end portion of a valve shaft has a shim-attachment hole. An inner shim is fitted into the shim-attachment hole. The bottom face of the inner shim is in contact with the upper end portion of the valve shaft, and the top face of the inner shim is positioned below the upper edge of the shim-attachment hole. A tappet is disposed above the spring retainer, and is allowed to move freely in the axial direction of the valve shaft. A shim-holding projection sticks out from the under face of the tappet, and extends downward. The projection enters, from above, the inside of the shim-attachment hole, and is in contact with the top face of the inner shim.
