An adjustable air diffuser is disposed in an airflow channel into which travelling wind is directed through an opening provided in a bumper face. The diffuser substantially opens and closes the airflow channel by using a movable louver blade driven by an actuator. An upper part of the diffuser is disposed to face a rear wall of the bumper face and is attached to a bumper beam extending substantially along a vehicle width direction. A lower part of the diffuser is either one of attached to a vehicle body structural member and a load transmission member projecting forward from the vehicle body structural member. The upper part of the diffuser and the bumper beam are connected with each other with an upper bracket having a weak portion that is configured to be broken in response to pivotal movement of the diffuser relative to the bumper beam.

Attachment structure for adjustable air diffuser

A front vehicle structure includes: a bumper fascia; a radiator panel upper disposed in a vehicle width direction behind the bumper fascia; and an upper energy absorbing (EA) member for pedestrian protection. The upper EA member is provided in the vehicle width direction in a substantially &#x3a3; shape as a side view between the top of the bumper fascia and the radiator panel upper. A rear of the upper EA member for pedestrian protection is fixed to the radiator panel upper. An upper projection and a lower projection are respectively formed above and below the upper EA member.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle front structure includes: an exterior member provided at a lower portion of a front end of a vehicle; and an energy absorbing bracket having front and rear ends, the front end facing a rear surface of the exterior member and the rear end being mounted on a vehicle structural member. The energy absorbing bracket has an upper surface which is disposed to be inclined downward toward a front of the vehicle, and the inclination increases continuously or stepwise from a rear of the vehicle to the front of the vehicle, lower vehicle width direction ribs which project downward from the upper surface, extend substantially in a vehicle width direction, and are disposed in a vehicle front-rear direction, and lower vehicle front-rear direction ribs which project downward from the upper surface, extend substantially in the vehicle front-rear direction, and disposed in the vehicle width direction.
