A travel support device includes processing circuitry configured to output a target speed of a merging vehicle that is going to change lanes; acquire a current speed of the merging vehicle and calculate a first control amount; acquire a position and a speed of a merging destination vehicle; acquire a current position of the merging vehicle and calculate a second control amount; acquire a speed of the merging vehicle and calculate a predicted position of the merging destination vehicle when the current speed of the merging vehicle has reached the target speed; and output one of the first or second control amount.

Provided is a vehicle traveling assist device capable of suppressing deterioration of ride comfort of an own vehicle due to vehicle traveling assist. A target determination unit calculates a target speed and a target distance based on target vehicle speed information. A plan generation unit generates a distance plan and a speed plan based on the target speed and the target distance through use of a three-stage moving average filter. The three-stage moving average filter is a filter including a first moving average filter, a second moving average filter, and a third moving average filter which are sequentially and serially connected to each other. A vehicle control unit generates an acceleration command for an own vehicle based on the distance plan and the speed plan.

The objective is to suppress a delay in the response of pressing force of an electric brake, when braking and non-braking are alternately repeated in an electric-brake control apparatus. An electric-brake control amount calculation unit of an electric-brake control apparatus according to the present disclosure calculates a control amount for securing a clearance between a brake pad and a brake disk, based on a position of the brake pad, calculated by a position calculator at a non-braking time, and secures the clearance by changing the control amount in two or more separate steps at a time when the braking is switched to the non-braking. As a result, it is made possible to obtain an electric-brake control apparatus that can suppress a delay in the response of pressing force of an electric brake, when braking and non-braking are alternately repeated.

A lane shape recognition system and a lane shape recognition method detects relative positions of a series of marks or objects which are continuously arranged in front of an own vehicle, with respect to the own vehicle; calculates a curve which approximates the relative positions of the series of marks or objects with respect to the own vehicle; and when a plurality of curves are calculated, mutually compare shapes of plurality of curves and determines the curves corresponding to the lane shape and the effective range of the curves.

A vehicle-to-vehicle distance control device includes a delay distance calculation unit and a delay distance compensation unit. In a running scene in which the velocity of a leading vehicle changes, a delay distance generated owing to a delay in a vehicle velocity control unit is calculated, and, while a delay distance compensation vehicle velocity command to compensate for the delay distance is considered for a vehicle velocity command, an actual vehicle-to-vehicle distance is controlled to be matched with a target track from an initial value of the vehicle-to-vehicle distance until arrival at a target vehicle-to-vehicle distance obtained after the leading vehicle accelerates/decelerates.

Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control device

A vehicle control device disclosed in the present disclosure includes: a first control unit configured to control a speed of the vehicle in accordance with the route distance and the set speed until the detection unit determines that the vehicle has passed through the ETC toll gate, while the vehicle is performing the constant-speed traveling by the cruise control unit; a vehicle frontward detecting unit configured to detect road information about a road frontward of the vehicle; and a second control unit configured to change control content in the cruise control unit on the basis of a detection result from the vehicle frontward detecting unit, when the detection unit determines that the vehicle has passed through the ETC toll gate, while the vehicle is performing the constant-speed traveling by the cruise control unit.

An inter-vehicle distance control device that achieves inter-vehicle distance control satisfying the driver includes a preceding vehicle velocity computation part that computes a preceding vehicle velocity on the basis of a host vehicle velocity and a relative velocity of the preceding vehicle, a target inter-vehicle setting art that sets a target inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle on the basis of the preceding vehicle velocity, a target track generator that generates a target track and a target track differential, the target track defining a time history lasting until the initial value of the inter-vehicle distance reaches the target inter-vehicle distance, and a feedback controller that computes a feedback acceleration command by multiplying a deviation of the inter-vehicle distance from the target track and a deviation of the relative velocity from the target track differential value by a gain. The feedback acceleration command is output as an acceleration command.

Inter-vehicle distance control device

Included are: a voltage command generation unit which generates a voltage command amplitude and a voltage command phase based on a current command value; a phase generation unit during rectangular wave energization, which generates a voltage command phase during rectangular wave energization; and a control switching determination unit which switches by determining as to which control of PWM energization or rectangular wave energization will be performed depending on the amount of the condition of a motor. A switching device unit is driven by the output from a PWM energization unit when switched to the PWM energization; and the switching device unit is driven by the output from a rectangular wave energization unit when switched to the rectangular wave energization. The voltage command generation unit calculates the voltage command amplitude and the voltage command phase by using parameters of the motor.
