A method for producing an indium carboxylate of the present invention comprises the steps of reacting a hydroxyl group-containing indium carboxylate represented by Formula (1): In(RCOO)(OH), wherein R is a straight chain or branched chain aliphatic group having 0 to 5 carbon atoms, and x is a number more than 0 and less than 3, with a lower carboxylic acid represented by the following Formula (2): R'COOH, wherein R′ is a hydrogen atom or a straight chain or branched chain aliphatic group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and the hydrogen atom in the aliphatic group may be replaced with a halogen atom, so as to obtain a product; and then reacting the product with a higher carboxylic acid having 12 or more carbon atoms.

The present invention relates to a method for producing an InP-based quantum dot precursor from a phosphorus source and an indium source, in which a silylphosphine compound represented by the following Formula (1) with a content of a compound represented by the following Formula (2) of 0.3 mol % or less is used as the phosphorus source. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing an InP-based quantum dot comprising heating an InP quantum dot precursor to a temperature of 200&#xb0; C. or more and 350&#xb0; C. or less to obtain an InP quantum dot. The silyl phosphine compound of the present invention is represented by the formula (1) and has an arsenic content of not more than 1 ppm. The process for producing a silyl phosphine compound of the present invention is a process comprising mixing a basic compound, a silylating agent and phosphine to obtain a solution containing a silyl phosphine compound, removing a solvent from the solution to obtain a concentrated solution of a silyl phosphine compound, and distilling the concentrated solution, wherein an arsenic content in the phosphine is adjusted to not more than 1 ppm by volume in terms of arsine. The process for producing InP quantum dots of the present invention uses, as a phosphorus source, a silyl phosphine compound represented by the formula (1) and having an arsenic content of not more than 1 ppm by mass.

The phosphine transition metal complex of the present invention is represented by formula (1). Preferably, Rand Rare identical groups, Rand Rare identical groups, Rand Rare identical groups, Rand Rare identical groups, Rand Rare identical groups, and n and y are identical numbers. The phosphine transition metal complex is suitably obtained by reacting a phosphine derivative represented by formula (2) and a phosphine derivative represented by formula (3) with a salt of a transition metal of gold, copper or silver. Phosphine transition metal complex, method for producing same, and anticancer agent

The anti-cancer agent of the present invention contains at least one kind of phosphine transition metal complex selected from a group of compounds represented by the following Formulae (1a) to (1d). According to this anti-cancer agent, an anti-cancer agent is provided which has a higher anti-cancer activity and lower toxicity compared to anti-cancer agents in the related art. In Formulae (1a), (1b), (1c), and (1d), Rand Rrepresent a linear or branched alkyl group, and Rhas a higher priority than Ras ranked according to RS notation. Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched alkyl group. M represents an atom of a transition metal selected from a group consisting of gold, copper, and silver. Xrepresents an anion. 

Anti-cancer agent

An anticancer agent having a novel chemical structure and high anticancer activity is provided. A phosphine transition metal complex of general formula (1) and an anticancer agent containing the complex are disclosed.  Rand R, which may be the same or different, each represent a group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms selected from a straight-chain or branched alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a substituted cycloalkyl group, an adamantyl group, a phenyl group, and a substituted phenyl group; Rand R, which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; or Rand Rare taken together to form a saturated or unsaturated ring which may have a substituted group; M represents a transition metal atom selected from the group consisting of gold, copper, and silver; and Xrepresents an anion.

There is provided a novel transition metal phosphine complex having excellent anticancer activity. The transition metal phosphine complex is represented by general formula (1): (wherein Rs and Rs each represent an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, a pyridyl group, or a pyrimidyl group; Rs and Rs each represent an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group, provided that each Rand each Rare not the same group and that each Rand each Rare not the same group; As each represent a linear alkylene group or a cis-vinylene group; M represents a gold atom, a silver atom, a copper atom, or a platinum atom; and B represents an anionic species).
