A network station stores therein a frame scheduling table including a plurality of pieces of scheduling information obtained by scheduling, in advance, transmission/reception timing of wireless frames that are transmitted/received by wireless communication terminals each of which is configured so as to implement a plurality of wireless communication methods, while using a wireless communication method corresponding to the network side and while using a wireless communication method corresponding to the local side. When the network station receives a notification indicating that a radio wave interference is detected, from any of the wireless communication terminals managed by the network station, the network station changes the frame scheduling information currently assigned to the wireless communication terminal being the transmission source of the notification indicating that the radio wave interference is detected.

A mobile node is arranged to perform a high-quality hand-over operation for eliminating an interruption time in communication and keeping the continuance of communication excellent. The mobile node has a function of interfacing with networks and includes a network quality monitor, a hand-over controller, and a network controller. The network quality monitor operates to monitor a network quality based on at least one of an intensity and a radio bandwidth of a radio wave received by network devices. The hand-over controller performs the hand-over operation of transmitting a care of address to an address registering destination in response to a state of the network quality before a communication is disconnected, changing a route of communication information, and switching a connecting destination into a new network. The network controller receives a response that indicates an update of the care of address in the address registering destination and keeping a function of receiving data from the network before being switched until the communication is disconnected.

Mobile node

An IP network system includes an IP network divided into a plurality of segments, an MN (mobile node) whose a Care of address is set for each segment where it is located, and a CN (corresponding node) which is a communication partner of the MN. The IP network system further includes a Care of Address managing unit for managing at least an old Care of Address set in a segment before movement of the MN and a new Care of Address set in another segment after movement of the MN, a packet receiving unit receiving a packet addressed to the old Care of Address at least after the MN is relocated to the another segment, the packet being transmitted from the CN, and a packet transfer unit transferring the packet addressed to the old Care of Address to the new Care of Address managed by the Care of Address managing unit, the packet addressed to the old Care of Address being received by the packet receiving unit.

Mobile communication system and method thereof

A method and a system for seizing at least one communication channel for use in a first call. Information on a plurality of states of a plurality of communication channels are held in an channel-state-information holding unit. Based on the information on the states of the communication channels, at least one optimum communication channel from among the plurality of communication channels is determined as the at least one communication channel, and seized for use in the first call. The determination is made so that after the above determination and seizure for the first call, consecutive communication channels for use in a second call can be successfully seized with high probability. Further, when consecutive communication channels are required for the first call, and not immediately available, the at least one optimum communication channel may be secured by vacating one of the plurality of communication channels used in an existing call, and allocating an idle one of the plurality of communication channels to the existing call.

Method and system of seizing communication channel enhancing usability of remaining communication channels

A network includes a plurality of exchanges and a service station which carries out network services. Each exchange of the plurality of exchanges and the service station are connected through a call control signal line. Respective exchanges of the plurality of exchanges are connected through circuits. Each exchange of the plurality of exchanges includes a virtual-index capture processing portion which captures a virtual circuit identification index, and the exchange specifies the virtual circuit identification index and makes a call-out request to the service station.
