An electric noise absorber comprising at least two ferrite pieces having abutting planes, at least two case members containing the ferrite pieces respectively and being closed by means of engagement members, and a spring member provided in at least one of the case members for pressing the ferrite pieces against each other when the case members are closed. Since the case members for keeping the ferrite pieces in appropriate positions and the spring member for pushing up the ferrite pieces for close contact are separately molded, the case members are bestowed with strength and the spring member with elasticity, both suitable for their own purposes. The case members requires no apertures for biasing members and therefore outside magnetic substance is prevented from contacting with the ferrite pieces contained in the case members.

Electric noise absorber

The shower head is composed of a spray head disposed at the forward end of a spray housing, a distributor disposed in the spray housing and having first and second supply openings, and a selector. By rotating the spray housing, the selector can be moved axially in the distributor. The shower head also has a first chamber disposed at the forward end of the distributor, a straight spray nozzle disposed at the forward end of the first chamber, and a needle valve. The needle valve can be slid in the first chamber and is composed of a needle and a circular plate resiliently urged to a closed position. Only when the selector pushes forward the circular plate to provide a straight spray does the straight spray nozzle communicate with the inside of the distributor. In other cases the distributor is closed by the circular plate so that the inside of the shower head is protected from dust or other foreign particles.

An electric noise absorber comprising at least two ferrite pieces having abutting planes, at least two case members containing the ferrite pieces respectively and being closed by means of engagement members, and a spring member provided in at least one of the case members for pressing the ferrite pieces against each other when the case members are closed. Another type of electric noise absorber comprising longitudinally divided pieces of magnetic substance shaped to surround the periphery of an electric cable when closed, and magnetic fluid applied to at least one of abutting planes of the divided pieces for securely contacting the abutting planes with each other. Even if the abutting planes are rough and/or are not exactly horizontal surfaces, the magnetic fluid allows the ferrite pieces to be closed with no gaps between them. Consequently, the ferrite pieces keep substantially as low impedance as that of a non-divided ferrite piece.

An assembling device for releasably fixedly securing first and second plate-like members together includes a main case mounted on the first member and having an opening for receiving therein a hook member fixed to and projecting from the second plate-like member. A rotary body is rotatably disposed in the main case and includes structure defining a cylindrical inner surface which faces and is eccentric with a rotary shaft, the cylindrical inner surface being engageable with the hook member. A retaining mechanism is provided which yieldably retains the rotary body rotationally fast with the main case at a predetermined rotational position. Rotation of the rotary body causes relative reciprocal motion between the hook member and the main case such that the hook member reaches a desired position relative to the main case, whereby the first and second members are releasably fixedly secured to each other.

Assembling device

A connector for joining the neck and body of a stringed instrument, like a guitar. The connector comprises a plate having upstanding flanges which are received in grooves defined in the underside of the neck and depending flanges on its underside which are received in grooves formed in the floor of the depression on the top side of the body of the instrument. A pin passes across the neck and through the neck flanges in the grooves. Screws hold the connector plate to the body and the neck.

A device for assembling furniture or the like includes a main case adapted to be mounted on a base panel, a cam rotatably disposed within the main case, and a retaining member. The cam is disposed for eccentric rotation relative to a rotary shaft. The retaining member includes at one end a retaining portion adapted to press a work panel against the base panel, and at the other end an engaging portion for slidably engaging a cylindrical outer surface of the cam. Rotation of the cam causes reciprocal movement of the retaining member, allowing the retaining portion to engage and disengage the work panel for respectively pressing it against the base panel.

An instrument for assembling two board-shaped bodies, including an engagement tool adapted to be driven into an opening in one board-shaped body, and a fixing tool adapted to be driven into an opening in the other board-shaped body. The engagement tool includes an annular engagement member having a radially outwardly projecting engagement portion provided with an engagement pawl adjacent the tip thereof, and a rotary cam or eccentric which is rotatably positioned within the annular member to effect radial displacement of the pawl. The engagement tool also includes an annular housing which accommodates therein the annular engagement member, the housing having stops for controlling the rotation of the cam to a predetermined angle, and having an outer peripheral structure which permits it to fixingly engage the one board-shaped body. The fixing tool has an insertion hole into which the engagement portion is inserted, and an engagement pin engaged by the pawl to lock the tools together. The fixing tool has an annular outer periphery structure for fixedly securing the fixing tool to the other board-shaped body.

Instrument for assembling board-shaped bodies

A clamp for holding a strip, e.g. a flat cable, securely on a mounting surface includes an overlapping top plate, stepped ridges, and resilient flaps tightly holding the strip in place within the clamp. This design makes the clamp less likely to inadvertently work itself loose from a mounting surface to which it is adhesively secured.

A connection fitting for a corrugated tube includes a cylindrical housing, a bow-shaped locking element attached to the housing by a hinge portion and a corrugated tube for insertion into the housing. The cylindrical housing has two openings and a wall element between them for receiving a bow-shaped locking element provided with two pairs of ribs on its inner surface corresponding to the openings. When inserting the corrugated tube into the cylindrical housing, the corrugated tube is fixed firmly to the cylindrical housing by the ribs on the locking element engaging with the groove portions of the corrugated tube through the openings.

Connection fitting for a corrugated tube

A connection fitting for a corrugated tube has a cylindrical housing for receiving the corrugated tube and a U-shaped locking element for fixing the corrugated tube firmly to the cylindrical housing. The cylindrical housing is provided with a sunken portion on the side surface and slits running circumferentially at a bottom of the sunken portion. The locking element has ribs projecting on its inner surface which penetrate into the slit and engage with the grooves of the corrugated tube. The engaging members are formed on both sides of the sunken portion of the cylindrical housing. Corresponding hook-like elements are formed at both ends of the locking element.

An electric noise absorber for holding a conduit of an electronic device comprises a retaining case composed of two box-shaped cases and auxiliary cases. A sponge-like member is fitted into the auxiliary case to prevent longitudinal movement of the cord or cable. A box-shaped case contains a magnet having a recess for receiving the cord or cable. It is possible to easily and securely attach and detach the electric noise absorber to the cord or cable by simply opening and closing the cases.
