A power convertor has a casing and a power conversion circuit arranged in an internal chamber of the casing. The casing has a first wall member as a specific side wall. A plurality of connector opening parts are formed in the first wall member. At least two of the plurality of connector opening parts formed in the first wall member are arranged at different positions facing a different direction from each other.

Power converter

A power conversion apparatus includes a first power converter, second power converter, a case, and partitioning portion. The first power converter performs power conversion. The second power converter performs power conversion. The case houses the first power converter and the second power converter. The partitioning portion partitions the first power converter and the second power converter housed in the case, and forms a coolant flow passage through which a coolant flows. The first power converter includes a first heat-generating component. The second power converter includes a second heat-generating component. The first heat-generating component and the second heat-generating component are each joined to the partitioning portion at a position at which the first heat-generating component and the second heat-generating component do not overlap each other in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to a coolant flow direction of the coolant flow passage.

Power conversion apparatus

An electric power converter includes a semiconductor module with a built-in switching element, a cooler that cools the semiconductor module, and a metallic case provided with an internal space that accommodates the semiconductor module and the cooler. The case is formed by combining a first case member and a second case member. The case includes an outer fixing portion for connecting and fixing the first case member and the second case member on an outside of the internal space, an inner fixing portion for connecting and fixing the first case member and the second case member on an inside of the internal space. The case includes a partition wall that is formed continuously from the inner fixing portion and partitions the internal space. A heat-generating component disposed along a wall surface of the partition wall is accommodated in the internal space.

Electric power convertor

A reactor is disclosed. The reactor is comprised of a housing, a solenoid coil, a center columnar member, and a core. The center columnar member provides first surfaces contacting with sandwich portions of the housing, and the core is comprised of resin including magnetic powder. The coil and the center columnar member are fixed in the core. A surface roughness (Rz) of a second surface which contacts to the core is larger than a surface roughness (Rz) of the first surfaces. The center columnar member further provides a basis surface of which roughness (Rz) is smaller than the Rzand larger than the Rz

Reactor

A reactor is provided with a coil, a core, and a case. The coil generates magnetic flux in response to supply of current thereto. The core is made of magnetic powder-containing resin filled in spaces inside and outside of the core. The case accommodates therein the coil and the core. The reactor is also provided with a cooling pipe (cooling member), which is arranged to be in contact with the core. A power converter is provided with semiconductor modules, a cooler, and the reactor. In the power converter, the cooler is arranged partially being in contact with the core of the reactor.
