A control system is designed to control an interrupter. The interrupter is started by a startup current to interrupt a main electric circuit. The startup current flows through an auxiliary electric circuit and has a current valve equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The control system includes a driving unit and a driven unit. The driving unit includes an intermediate electrical path to be connected to the main electric circuit. The driven unit is to be connected to the auxiliary electric circuit. When an abnormal current having a current value equal to or greater than a prescribed value flows through the intermediate electrical path, the driving unit uses, as a drive source for driving the driven unit, the abnormal current flowing through the intermediate electrical path. The driven unit supplies the auxiliary electric circuit with the startup current by being driven by the driving unit.

Control system and interrupter system

A first conductive member is fixed to a first fixed terminal having a longitudinal direction, and a second conductive member is fixed to a second fixed terminal having a longitudinal direction. The first fixed terminal and the second fixed terminal are fixed to a partition member. A first extension portion of the first conductive member includes a first opposed portion opposed to at least one of the first fixed terminal at a first fixed contact side of the partition member. The first opposed portion extends in the longitudinal direction of the first fixed terminal.

Contact device, electromagnetic relay and electrical device

An electromagnetic relay includes a contactor including a fixed contact and a movable contact, and an electromagnet device for moving the movable contact. The electromagnet device includes a coil generating a first magnetic flux by energization, a tubular body including a permanent magnet generating a second magnetic flux in a direction identical to a direction of the first magnetic flux and having a hollow extending in a center axis direction, a movable element disposed in the hollow of the tubular body and reciprocating in the center axis direction, and a yoke forming a magnetic circuit passing together with the movable element and the tubular body. The magnetic circuit allows at least one of the first and second magnetic fluxes to pass through the magnetic circuit. The electromagnet device is configured to, when the coil is energized, move the movable contact to a first position by attracting the movable element with the first magnetic flux and the second magnetic flux. The electromagnet device is configured to, when energization of the coil is suspended, move the movable contact to a second position different from the first position. This electromagnetic relay is easily designed and reduces power consumption at a low cost.

Electromagnetic opening/closing device

A contact resistance value detected by a detection means (a resistance detection part) is compared with a predetermined threshold value. A determining means (an abnormality determining part) determines that there is a failure when the contact resistance value exceeds the predetermined threshold value, and then an abnormality detection signal is outputted from an output means (an output part). Therefore, it is possible to detect a failure in a contact, such as oxidization generated on a surface of a contact or contact pressure reduction generated between contacts, based on the contact resistance value of a contact part.

An electromagnetic opening/closing device comprises: a measurement part that measure a change associated with opening/closing of a contact (the number of times the contact has been opened or closed); a life determining part that determines a state of the contact, based on the change (the number of times the contact has been opened or closed) measured by the measurement part; and an output part that outputs the determined result by the life determining part to outside. Accordingly, differently from the conventional technique, an apparatus, equipped with the electromagnetic opening/closing device, has no need to count the number of times the contact has been opened or closed in order to manage the lifetime of the device, and it is possible to easily manage the lifetime compared with conventional devices.

A malfunction determining unitcompares an absolute value of the difference between a first count and a second count stored in a storage unitwith a predetermined threshold. If the absolute value is less than a predetermined upper limit, the malfunction determining unit determines that a contact unithas no malfunction. If the absolute value is the upper limit or more, the malfunction determining unitdetermines that the contact unithas malfunction, and supplies the determination result to a control unit. The control unitallows an output unitto output a malfunction detecting signal if receiving the determination result indicating the presence of malfunction from the malfunction determining unit
