A lighting system for plant cultivation comprises a light source, a light source driving unit that drives the light source, and a control unit that transmits a pulse signal to the light source driving unit. The control unit comprises a first pulse generating unit that generates a first pulse signal (S) of a predetermined frequency, a second pulse generating unit that generates a second pulse signal (S) of a frequency different from the predetermined frequency, and a pulse signal selecting unit that selects any one of the first pulse signal (S) and the second pulse signal (S) to transmit the selected one to the light source driving unit. The light source driving unit includes a frequency determining unit that determines whether the frequency of the pulse signal received from the control unit is the frequency of the first pulse signal (S) or the frequency of the second pulse signal (S), a first driving unit that, when receiving the first pulse signal (S) from the control unit, converts the first pulse signal (S) to a constant current, output to drive the light source, and a second driving unit that, when receiving the second pulse signal (S) from the control unit, outputs a pulse with an original pulse waveform of the second pulse signal (S) to drive the light source.

Light system for plant cultivation

Disclosed herein is an edge-type lighting device which is configured such that when a light guide plate thermally expands, a light source is prevented from being pressed. In the lighting device according to the present invention, a light guide plate () is slidably supported so that the light guide plate () can expand in the planar direction, and a light source () disposed on an edge of the light guide plate () is movably supported in the same direction. A light-guide-plate stopper () is disposed at a position facing an edge (A) of the light guide plate () to prevent the light guide plate () from expanding excessively. Thus, the light source () can be prevented from being pressed toward a frame member ().

Lighting device

The present invention relates to an edge-type lighting device using an LED light source which has high light-emitting efficiency regardless of thermal expansion of a light guide plate. An LED light source () is disposed on an edge of a light guide plate () so as to be movable in the normal line direction (&#xb1;n) of the edge () of the light guide plate. A slide member () is slidably disposed on the rear surface of the LED light source. A spring () is disposed in a frame member () on the rear surface of the slide member. Thus, the LED light source can always be pressed toward the edge of the light guide plate regardless of the thermal expansion of the light guide plate. Because the spring has a simple structure, the lighting device can be compact compared to the case where a coil spring is used.

Projections are located at an inner face of a case member so as to form air passages in first and second directions. A disposable pocket heater and a gel container are set inside the projections and the case member is assembled. Since the air passages in both directions are formed on a whole surface of the disposable pocket heater, oxygen is supplied to the whole disposable pocket heater and the whole gelling agents in the gel container is heated to almost uniform temperature.

A wireless sensor system according to the invention has a wireless sensor device for detecting something and a wireless base station for exchanging data with the wireless sensor device by wireless. The wireless sensor devicehas a sampling signal transmitting portion for transmitting a sampling signal, and the wireless base station has a sensitivity detecting portion for detecting a receive sensitivity of the sampling signal, and a sensitivity transmitting portion for transmitting a result detected thereby to the wireless sensor device. And, the wireless sensor device has at least one of a LED and a buzzer for informing of the receive sensitivity on the basis of data from the sensitivity transmitting portion. A worker who tries to locate the wireless sensor device can easily know the best place for location with the LED or the like.

A density curve is derived from a plurality of known output data values and a plurality of density values which are obtained by the known output data values. Then, a desired gamma correction curve is formed in accordance with the thus derived density curve. Finally the thus formed gamma correction curve is finely adjusted in accordance with a desired correction curve which is selected from a plurality of previously prepared correction curves. In order to simplify the data entering operation, a small number of data values are entered and then an interpolation is performed to obtained a necessary number of data values. The gamma correction curve is formed only when the apparatus is installed, the property of the developing solution is changed or the record film is changed. In this manner, the optimal gamma correction curve can be simply and directly formed.
