A vehicle window glass, comprising a vehicle window glass; a glass holder provided with a groove to which the vehicle window glass is inserted and held by being nipped and made by a resin material selected from groups of a natural grade of a polybutylene terephthalate resin or a natural grade of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, or a resin containing glass fibers in the natural grade of the polybutylene terephthalate resin or a resin containing glass fibers in the natural grade of the polyethylene terephthalate resin; and one-liquid type urethane adhesive layer containing a silane coupling agent formed between the vehicle window glass of the groove of said glass holder and the glass holder.

Vehicle window glass and method of producing the same

A sun-roof assembly comprises a transparent member having first and second peripheral edge portions. A first supporting member is connected to the first peripheral edge portion of the transparent member and has a first supporting edge disposed on the first peripheral edge portion of the transparent member, a second supporting edge and a web portion extending from the first and second supporting edges. A second supporting member is connected to the second peripheral edge portion of the transparent member and has first and second supporting edges and an inflated portion disposed between the first and second supporting edges. A connecting member integrally connects the first and second supporting members, the connecting member having a holding portion connected to the web portion of the first supporting member, a spacer portion extending from the holding portion and disposed between the inflated portion of the second supporting member and the second peripheral edge portion of the transparent member, and an abutting portion extending from the holding portion and connected to the second supporting member.

Sun-roof assembly for automobiles

A glass holder provided with a pair of opposed side walls and a bottom which define an open-ended slot for receiving an end of a glass pane. The opposed side walls include a piston in engagement with an anti-flow member inserted into the slot so as to function as a dam for closing at least one end of the lost, and the bottom has a hole having a volume enough to receive the anti-flow member. When the holder is mounted on the glass pane, the anti-flow member is attached within the slot whereby an unhardened fluid adhesive filled within the slot is retained within the slot by the anti-flow member to prevent useless protuberences resulting from the outflow adhesive from being formed. As the glass pane is inserted into the slot, the anti-flow member is escaped into the hole.
