A timepiece movement includes a motor that has a rotor for rotating an indicating hand, a control unit that rotates the rotor by using a main drive pulse and an auxiliary drive pulse, and that determines a reference position of the indicating hand by detecting a rotation state of the rotor when the indicating hand is rotated using a detection drive pulse based on the main drive pulse, a train wheel that transmits a drive force of the motor to the indicating hand, and that has an indicating hand gear and a second intermediate pinion which mesh with each other, and an elastic portion that is disposed in the indicating hand gear, and that is elastically deformed by coming into contact with the second intermediate pinion when the indicating hand is located at the reference position.

An information device to be worn on the wrist of a user has a case, a circuit block disposed in the case, and a first electrode terminal disposed in the case and electrically connected to the circuit block. A band is pivotally connected to the case for undergoing pivotal movement within a range of angular positions relative to the case. A second electrode terminal is disposed in the band for contacting the first electrode terminal in accordance with a relative angular position between the band and the case.

Wrist-carried information device

To prevent a portable electronic apparatus from being scratched when the portable electronic apparatus is connected to an interface station, the interface station is arranged by an operation member moved by being externally manipulated; a movable member moved in association with the movement of the operation member; a supporting member for supporting a portable electronic apparatus; and a first connecting terminal provided on the movable member, for electrically connecting the portable electronic apparatus. The portable electronic apparatus is held by both the supporting member and the movable member, so that the portable electronic apparatus is electrically connected via the interface station to an external information processing apparatus. In this interface station, an opening portion is formed in one of the operation member and the movable member; and a convex portion inserted into the opening portion is formed on the remainder of the operation member and the movable member. As a result, said movable member is moved in connection with the movement of the operation member by engaging the convex portion with the opening portion.
