An electrical junction box that includes a switching device such as a FET can prevent a ground potential on a circuit board from being indefinite and provides a power distribution unit utilizing the electrical junction box.

To provide an electrical junction box that has a simple construction and an improved waterproof capability. An electrical junction boxcomprises a circuit casingand a circuit boardcontained in the circuit casing. The circuit casing includes two cover bodiesand, which are opposite each other and include base plate sectionsandand peripheral wallsandprovided on the base plate sections. Electrical junction box

This invention provides an electrical junction box that can restrain a temperature from increasing in a casing. An electrical junction box comprises a casing made of a synthetic resin material, a circuit board contained in the casing, semiconductor relay mounted on the circuit board, a bus bar. The bus bar is insert-molded in the casing. The bus bar includes an embedment section embedded in the casing, and a connecting section that is not embedded in the casing and thermally connected to the semiconductor relay.

A headlamp control circuit reduces a possibility that all headlamps become lights-out in a two-lamp system headlight, even if a switching element fails under a high-beam condition while the single switching element is driven to light two right and left high-beam filaments. A headlamp control circuit includes switch sections (SW) and (SW) for lighting low-beam filaments () and (), a switch section (SW) for lighting high-beam filaments () and () together, a diode (D) for detecting an output voltage on the switch section SW, and a control section () for turning the switch section (SW) to an on-condition in the case where a high-beam indication is accepted and for turning the switch sections (SW) and (SW) to an on-condition in the case where a low-beam indication is accepted and in the case where a high-beam indication is accepted and the diode (D) detects no high-beam lighting voltage.

Optical connector

A PWM signal generation circuit and a PWM control circuit are provided in which the duty ratio is easily changed and which can also avoid adverse impact from ambient temperature changes and the like. At the beginning of charging a capacitor with a current flow, a voltage level at a connection point between the negative input terminal of a comparator and the capacitor is still below a charging threshold. When the charging threshold is exceeded, the comparator is inverted to a low state and a current flows into an output point of the comparator to start discharging the capacitor. At the beginning of discharging from the capacitor, the voltage level at the connection point is still above the discharging threshold. However, when the voltage level falls below the discharging threshold, the comparator returns to a high state, and the charging operation again takes over.

PWM signal generation circuit and PWM control circuit

An optical connector is constituted of a connector housing, a shielding case, and optical elements. The shielding case is split into a case main body section and a heatsink mechanism section, both joined together to constitute housing recesses. While the case main body section and the heatsink mechanism section are joined together, element main body sections are held between them. A non-joint plane of the heatsink mechanism section is housed in a case housing recess of the connector housing in an outwardly exposed state. A corrugated heatsink fin section is formed in the non-joint plane. The housing recesses into which the element main body sections are to be housed are partitioned from each other.

Holding structures for optical elements of an optical connector

The outer periphery of the code leading end portion of the rear end portion of a connector housing is formed in a regular quadrilateral shape, while the inner periphery of the mounting end portion of a code hold boot member is formed in a regular quadrilateral shape which allows the mounting end portion inner periphery to be fitted with the outer surfaces of the code draw-out end portion. A plurality of projection-shaped engaging portions are formed in the respective composing surfaces of the outer periphery of the code leading end portion and, a plurality of engaging portions are formed in the respective composing surfaces of the inner periphery of the mounting end portion. The mounting end portion of the code hold boot member can be fitted with the outer surfaces of the code leading end portion in four different postures leading in upper, lower, right and left directions.

An optical connector for connecting optical fibers together in an automobile, equipment or the like. The optical connector includes a housing body portion to be connected to a mating optical connector and a bending guide portion. The housing body portion has a fiber receiving hole portion for receiving an optical fiber exposed at an end portion of an optical fiber cord. The optical fiber cord extends rearward from the fiber receiving hole portion. The bending guide portion extends rearward from the housing body portion and has a holding portion for holding the optical fiber cord in a predetermined curved manner. The optical fiber cord is positioned and held in an axial direction thereof in the bending guide portion.

Optical connector and structure of holding an optical fiber cord

An optical fiber cordis guided and held in a fixed bent shape in a tubular guide bodywhich is bent in an arc. The guide bodyis integrally provided with a mounting partwhich can be attached to a vehicle body or the like, and by fitting this mounting part to the body or the like, installation of the optical fiber cordcan be conducted.

An optical connector according to this invention includes a connector housing having a casing receiving recess formed therein, a metal shield casing for receiving an element body portion of an optical element therein, and a metal shield cover for covering the connector housing. The metal shield casing is received and held in the casing receiving recess. The metal shield casing and the metal shield cover are thermally connected to each other being in mutual contact; the side surface of the metal shield casing is exposed to the exterior of the connector housing to be in surface-to-surface contact with the metal shield cover and therefore heat, generated by the optical element, is transferred to the metal shield cover from the metal shield casing and is easily radiated from the metal shield cover to the exterior. The metal shield casing and the metal shield cover may be formed integrally to constitute a shield member.

Optical connector with electromagnetic noise shielding and heat radiating properties

An optical connector in which the operation for inserting an optical fiber cord can be effected easily, and the optical fiber cord can be positively prevented from being abruptly bent. A bending guide portion of an arcuate shape is formed integrally with a housing body portion for receiving and holding an end portion of an optical fiber cord. The bending guide portion has a generally tubular shape, and its inner peripheral portion forms an inner peripheral bending limitation portion for limiting a minimum value of a bend radius of the optical fiber cord, while its outer peripheral side is open over an entire length thereof in a peripheral direction thereof. In place of the outer peripheral side, one side and the other side of the bending guide portion may be open over an entire length thereof in a peripheral direction thereof.

In an optical connector, element body portions of optical elements are fittingly received respectively in receiving recesses formed in a connector housing, and lead terminals of each optical element project outwardly from the receiving recess. The connector housing is made of a metal material, and ground contact surfaces for being held in surface-to-surface contact with a grounding circuit is formed on and projects from a lower surface of the connector housing beyond which the lead terminals project outwardly, and an insulating portion made of an insulating material is formed at a peripheral edge portion of an opening of each receiving recess over an entire periphery thereof.

An optical coupling connector portion, including ferrule portions, is provided at a widthwise central portion of a connector housing having a shape flattened in a direction of the width thereof. Female connection terminal portions, serving as electrical connection terminals, are provided in a distributed manner at widthwise opposite side portions of the connector housings disposed outwardly respectively of opposite sides of the optical coupling connector portion. An optical coupling connector portion, including ferrule receiving portions for respectively receiving the ferrule portions, is provided at a widthwise central portion of a second connector housing. Male connection terminal portions, serving as electrical connection terminal portions, are provided in a distributed manner at widthwise opposite side portions of the connector housing in corresponding relation to the female connection terminal portions.
