Provided is a cell packaging material having a high insulating performance and durability. A cell packaging material comprising a layered body provided with at least a substrate layer, a metal layer, an adhesive layer, and a heat-fusible resin layer in the stated order. The adhesive layer has a resin composition that contains an acid-modified polyolefin and an epoxy resin. In probe displacement amount measurements involving the use of a thermal mechanical analyzer, when a probe is placed on the surface of the adhesive layer at an end part of the cell packaging material and the probe is heated from 40&#xb0; C. to 220&#xb0; C., the position of the probe does not drop in relation to the initial value.

A packaging material for electrochemical cells, which has insulating properties sufficient for preventing a short circuit, while exhibiting excellent electrolyte solution resistance and water vapor barrier properties. A packaging material for electrochemical cells is obtained by sequentially laminating a metal layer, an adhesive resin layer and a thermally adhesive resin layer in this order, wherein: a base coating layer is provided between the metal layer and the adhesive resin layer; and the base coating layer contains at least a zirconium oxide (A) having an average particle diameter within the range of from 1 nm to 500 nm (inclusive), one or more phosphorus-containing compounds (B) selected from the group of phosphorus compounds having 4 or more phosphonic groups in each molecule, and an acid-modified polyolefin resin (C).

Packaging material for electrochemical cells

A battery packaging material includes a laminate that includes at least a base material layer, a metal layer, an insulating layer, and a sealant layer laminated in this order. The insulating layer is formed of a resin composition containing a modified polyolefin resin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or acid anhydride thereof and has a hardness, when measured by using a nanoindenter and pressing an indenter 5 &#x3bc;m into the insulating layer from a cross-section of the laminate in the laminating direction thereof, that ranges from 10 MPa to 300 MPa. In the sealant layer, an elastic modulus, when measured by using a nanoindenter and pressing an indenter 5 &#x3bc;m into the sealant layer from a cross-section of the laminate in the laminating direction thereof, ranges from 100 MPa to 1000 MPa.

Power-cell packaging material

Provided is an electrochemical cell packaging material with excellent electrolyte resistance. An electrochemical cell packaging material includes the following in a laminated structure: a substrate layer that, at a minimum, includes resin film; a protective layer that is arranged as the outermost layer and protects the substrate layer; a thermal adhesion layer that is arranged as the innermost layer and which includes thermal adhesion resin; and a barrier layer that includes metal foil and is arranged between the substrate layer and the thermal adhesion layer. The protective layer is formed of an epoxy resin that has bisphenol A or bisphenol F as an element in the backbone.

An acoustic data output device comprises an addressable memory for storing acoustic data. A plurality of clock signals are coupled to count separate address counters of a number corresponding to the number of clock signals. A signal selector is responsive to the clock signals for providing an address counter selection signal, whereby at any given time the selection signal corresponds to a separate one of the address counters. An addressing device is responsive to the address counter selection signal for selectively addressing the addressable memory with the count of the corresponding address counter. A separate data latch corresponds to each address counter and the data latches are coupled to receive the output of said addressable memory. The outputs of the data latches are synchronized with the clock signal corresponding thereto.
