[Problem to Be Solved] A pouring control method for controlling an automatic pouring device with a tilting-type ladle is provided. By the method, a lip of a pouring ladle approaches a sprue of a mold without striking any object located within the range of its movement. Also, by the method, the molten metal that runs out of the ladle can accurately fill the mold. [Solution] The pouring control method comprises the steps of setting a target flow rate of molten metal to be poured, generating a voltage to input it to a motor that tilts the ladle (hereafter, the tilting motor) so as to reach the target flow rate of the molten metal based on an inverse model of a mathematical model of molten metal that runs out of a pouring ladle and an inverse model of the tilting motor, estimating the flow rate of the molten metal that runs out of the ladle, estimating the falling position and getting the estimated falling position to be a target position, and generating a trajectory for the movement of the pouring ladle wherein the trajectory causes the height of the lip of the pouring ladle above the level of a sprite of a mold to decrease.

Method for a pouring control and a storage medium for storing programs for causing a computer to work as a pouring control means

To enable a ladle-tilting automatic pouring device to take less time for identification of the parameters and the device to pour highly precisely by sequentially updating pouring model parameters according to the pouring situation, the present pouring control method is based on a mathematical model of a process from input of control parameters to pouring of molten metal, the method including: identifying, using an optimization technique, a flow rate coefficient, a liquid density, and a pouring start angle that is a tilting angle of the pouring ladle when the flowing of the molten metal starts, which are the control parameters in the mathematical model, based on weight of liquid that flows out of the pouring ladle and tilting angle of the ladle that are measured during pouring, and a command signal that controls the tilting of the pouring ladle; and updating the control parameters to the identified control parameters.

Method for a pouring control and a storage medium for storing programs for causing a computer to carry out a process for controlling pouring

[Problem to Be Solved] A pouring control method for controlling an automatic pouring device with a tilting-type ladle is provided. A method for controlling the respective input voltages transmitted to a servomotor that tilts the ladle such that the molten metal that flows from the ladle drops accurately into the pouring gate in the mold, a servomotor that moves the ladle back and forth, and a servomotor that moves the ladle up and down, by using a computer. In the method, a mathematical model of the area on which the molten metal that flows from the ladle will drop is produced, and then the inverse problem of the produced mathematical model is solved. In view of the effect of a contracted flow, the position on which molten metal drops is estimated by the estimating device for estimating the pouring rate and the estimating device for estimating the position on which molten metal will drop.

Method for automatically pouring molten metal by tilting a ladle and a medium for recording programs for controlling a tilt of a ladle

A method of automatically pouring molten metal from a ladle into a mold by tilting the ladle. In the method, the height of molten metal located above a molten metal outlet and the weight of molten metal flowing out of the ladle are estimated using an expanded Kalman filter on the basis of: the weight of the molten metal flowing out of the ladle, said weight being measured using a load cell; the voltage inputted to a servo motor; the angle of tilt of the ladle measured by a rotary encoder; and the position of the ladle in the lifting and lowering direction thereof. The sum of the weight of the molten metal flowing out of the ladle when the ladle is tilted rearward, said weight being estimated from the angle of tilt of the ladle and the height of the molten metal located above the molten metal outlet estimated by the expanded Kalman filter, and the weight of the molten metal flowing out of the ladle estimated by the expanded Kalman filter are estimated as the final weight of outflowing molten metal. The estimated final weight of outflowing molten metal is determined whether or not to be greater than or equal to a specific weight of outflow, and the operation of rearward tilting of the ladle is started on the basis of the result of the determination.

Tilting-type automatic molten metal pouring method, tilting control system, and storage medium having tilting control program stored therein

A drive mechanism includes a rotatable steering unit, a wheel supported by the steering unit, a drive member rotating about an axis extending along a center axis of the steering unit, an output shaft located at an offset position from the center axis of the steering unit and transmitting rotational force of the drive member to the wheel. The drive member includes a first drive unit driven in a forward rotation direction and a second drive unit driven in a reverse rotation direction and located coaxially with the first drive unit. The output shaft includes a first output unit to which driving force is transmitted from the first drive unit, and a second output unit to which driving force is transmitted from a conversion unit for converting rotation of the second drive unit, is restricted by both the output units, and transmits rotational force obtained from the output units to the wheel.

A method for controlling a ladle to pour molten metal into a mold. The method comprises producing a mathematical model describing a relationship between a measured electrical voltage supplied to a servomotor for tilting the ladle and a flow rate of the molten metal flowing out of the ladle when the ladle is tilted; solving an inverse problem of the mathematical model; estimating the flow rate of the molten metal using a state observer having an exponential damping that uses an extended Kalman filter, based on the measured electrical voltage and a weight of the molten metal poured into the mold; processing the flow rate of the molten metal and a target flow rate of the molten metal with a gain-scheduled PI controller; obtaining a target electrical voltage to be supplied to the servomotor; and controlling the servomotor based on the target electrical voltage.

A control system for a lifting device in which a load moves up or down or maintains its position by a rope that is wound up or down by the rotation of a servo motor. It includes a device for measuring a force, a first controller, a second controller and a switching device. A total force that is applied at the lower part of the rope caused by a force for controlling, the mass of the load, and the acceleration of the load is measured. The first controller, based on the measured force computes the direction and the speed of the servo motor, and outputs a signal to it. The second controller determines a stable condition using Popov's stability criterion. The switching device replaces the first controller with the second controller when the value that is measured by the measuring device becomes less than a threshold.

Control system for a lifting device

A tilting-type automatic pouring method for pouring molten metal from a ladle with an outflow position into a mold. The method includes tilting the ladle forward to pour molten metal into the mold, measuring a weight of poured molten metal, calculating a flow rate of the molten metal flowing out of the ladle based on the measured weight of poured molten metal, estimating a weight of molten metal that will be poured during a backward tilting. The method also includes estimating a total weight of molten metal based on the measured weight of poured molten metal and the estimated weight of molten metal that will be poured during the backward tilting and comparing the estimated total weight of molten metal to a predetermined weight. When the estimated total weight is equal to or larger than the predetermined weight, the backward tilting is started.

Tilting-type automatic pouring method and storage medium

A method for controlling a ladle to pour molten metal into a sprue of a mold. The method includes obtaining a mathematical model describing a locus of positions where the molten metal flowing from the ladle drops on an upper surface of the sprue. The method further includes solving an inverse problem of the mathematical model, estimating a position where the molten metal drops using a result of the solving of the inverse problem, and determining target voltages to be supplied to servomotors controlling the ladle. At least the target voltage to be supplied to one of the servomotors is determined based on the estimated position. The method also includes controlling the servomotors based on respective target voltages.

Tilting-type automatic pouring method and a medium that stores programs to control the tilting of a ladle

A method and a system for controlling a crane drive unit so as to suppress sway of a load suspended by a rope of a crane, which sway occurs when the load has been transported from a first position to a second position, the control being made by operating a controller having a filter unit by using a feedforward control program. The method is to control the crane drive unit so that the load does not greatly sway when it is transported from the first position to the second position by removing a component near a resonance frequency by the filter unit from a transportation command for the load, in which command the maximum value among at least one of a transportation speed, transportation acceleration, and transportation jerk is limited, under the resonance frequency sequentially computed from a rope length that is a distance from the center of rotation of the sway of the rope to the center of gravity of the load and under parameters that relate to a control unit of the crane drive unit and that are previously calculated so as not to exceed the performance of the crane drive unit, and by inputting in the crane drive unit the transportation command, from which the component near the resonance frequency is removed.
