An inter-electrode creepage distance between adjacent electrode parts in the circumferential direction is less than an inter-magnet creepage distance between adjacent magnet parts in the circumferential direction, the inter-electrode creepage distance being directed along outer peripheral surfaces of the first cover parts and an outer peripheral surface of the second cover part, and the inter-magnet creepage distance being directed along respective sides of the second cover part in the circumferential direction and the outer peripheral surface of the second cover part.

Abnormality detecting device for conductive particles in a lubricant and mechanical device

A gear device according to the disclosure includes an internal gear having a pin groove, a pin rotatably supported by the pin groove, an external gear oscillatorily rotating while its external tooth is engaging with the pin, and a speed reduction unit. The speed reduction unit decelerates a rotational driving force of an electric motor and transmits the decelerated rotational driving force to a rotating drive unit. The speed reducer includes a first reduction unit disposed on the input side and a second reduction unit disposed coaxially with the first reduction unit on the output side. A gap is formed between the external gear and the pin when the center of the pin groove, the center of the pin, and the tooth bottom of the external gear are aligned. The first gap in the first reduction unit is larger than the second gap in the second reduction unit.

A conductive particle detecting device includes a plurality of electrodes, a permanent magnet, and a detecting circuit. The plurality of electrodes are arranged at intervals in a lubricant. The permanent magnet accumulates conductive particles in the lubricant between adjacent electrodes by a magnetic force. The detecting circuit detects target conductive particles based on electrical resistance between the adjacent electrodes. A sensor relating to the present invention includes: a first electrode; a second electrode; a first attracting portion positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode and configured to receive conductive abrasion powder contained in a detection region and attracted onto the first attracting portion; a sensing unit for sensing a change in electrical resistance between the first electrode and the second electrode caused by the conductive abrasion powder; and at least one second attracting portion positioned within the detection region and configured to attract the conductive abrasion powder contained in the detection region.

Provided is a sensor for sensing reduction of electric resistance between electrodes, a magnetic field being applied between the electrodes to accumulate magnetic powder floating in a lubricant between the electrodes, wherein at least one sensing region in which the magnetic powder is to be accumulated is provided in at least a part of a region between the electrodes, and the magnetic powder is inhibited from being accumulated in a non-sensing region constituted by a space around the electrodes other than the at least one sensing region.
