A fuel cell and an electronic apparatus with same mounted thereon are provided. The fuel cell includes a power generation unit provided with a conduit for an oxidant gas containing at least oxygen, a heat radiation unit connected to the power generation unit so as to radiate heat from the power generation unit, a gas flow means for causing the oxidant gas to flow in the conduit, and a cooling means driven independently from the gas flow means so as to cool the heat radiation unit. By independently controlling the driving of the gas flow means and the cooling means, the fuel cell can be driven in such a manner that the temperature of the power generation unit and the amount of water remaining in the power generation unit are regulated into preferable conditions. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a fuel cell and an electronic apparatus with the same mounted thereon in which power generation can be performed stably and various apparatuses are contained therein in a compact form.

The present invention is to provide a power generation unit successful in equalizing flow rates of fluids flowing through individual flow paths of a power generation cell, and is to provide a fuel cell which can flexibly be adapted to required power generation capacity, geometry. The power generation unit of the present invention comprises a power generation cell which is composed of a joint component of a pair of electrodes and an electrolyte component held between the electrodes, and a flow path forming component having a flow path allowing a fluid supplied to the joint component to flow therethrough; and a fluid conveyance apparatus having an opening commonly functioning as an intake port and a discharge port of the fluid. This enables equalizing of the flow rates of the fluid flowing in the flow path, resulting in equalization of flow rates of the fluids flowing through the individual flow paths.

Power generation unit and fuel cell

In an optical axis correction device for correcting an optical axis within an optical spatial transmission device, a displacement of focal point can be prevented and a responding speed in rotation of the mirror can be made fast. As the incident light is reflected against the reflection surface of the mirror and radiated against the position sensing sensor, a displacement amount .DELTA.S between the incident point P1 on the position sensing sensor and the reference position P0 is detected at the optical axis correction device. In order to correct the optical axis only by the amount of displacement .DELTA.S, the Y-axis driving mechanism is driven to change an angle of the reflection surface of the mirror. At this time, the position of the reflecting portion on the reflection surface in a direction of Z-axis is prevented from being displaced. For example, a driving force of '-2' is applied to the first Y-axis driving mechanism and concurrently a state of '.+-.0' is held at the second Y-axis driving mechanism. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to rotate the mirror in the same direction and by the same amount only as those of the case in which the driving force '-1' is applied to the first Y-axis driving mechanism and the driving force '+1' is applied to the second Y-axis driving mechanism without being displaced in a direction of the Z-axis.

Optical axis correction device

Disclosed is an optical axis correcting device which allows high accuracy optical axis adjustment and which has an excellent responsiveness. An optical communication device suited for long distance optical communication using this optical axis correcting device is provided. A two-axis spring for setting a mirror includes a first annular section, a second annular section on the outer side of the first annular section and concentric thereto, and a third annular section on the outer side of the second annular section and concentric thereto, wherein the first annular section and the second annular section are connected together by a pair of X-axis bridges which allow torsional rotation and which are opposed to each other with the center of the concentric circle therebetween, wherein the second annular section and the third annular section are connected together by similar Y-axis bridges. The X-axis bridges and the Y-axis bridges are arranged at a predetermined angle by using the center of the concentric circles as a reference, and are arranged so as to exhibit the same angle with respect to the rolling direction of the rolled members forming the two-axis spring using the center of the concentric circles as a reference.

Mirror holder and optical axis correcting device using the same

A powder sealing device of a powder beam processing machine including a processing chamber for processing a workpiece by jetting powder beams to the workpiece, includes: a thin film cylinder member for sealing a space between an operating shaft passing through an opening portion formed in a peripheral surface of the processing chamber and the opening portion; and a substantially cylindrical mounting bracket having a small chamber communicated to the processing chamber and mounted to the opening portion. The thin film cylinder member is formed of a flexible thin film material into a substantially conical shape, and has one end mounted to one end of the mounting bracket on the opening portion side and the other end mounted to the outer peripheral side of the operating shaft. When the processing chamber is in a negative pressure state, an intermediate portion of the conical thin film cylinder member is expandedly sucked inward of the small chamber without generation of any wrinkle, so that it is possible to structurally eliminate breakage of the thin film cylinder member and hence to prolong the service life of the powder sealing device.
