The delivery system has a supply device having a supply port for supplying an article; a receiving device having a receiving port that is able to receive the article that is supplied from the supply port; and a detection unit that is capable of detecting: a first state in which the supply device and the receiving device are joined by the supply port engaging with the receiving port; a second state in which the supply device and the receiving device are close together and there is a space between the supply port and the receiving port; and a third state in which the supply device and the receiving device are separated and the space between the device is wider than in the second state.

A winding apparatus for use in a copier, a printer, and other devices for ejecting a printed sheet in a rolled form of a cylinder without having a core includes a gripping mechanism for gripping the leading end of a sheet when the sheet is rolled into cylindrical form. The gripping mechanism is disposed on a cylindrical member provided to each of both ends of the sheet in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the sheet and moving with the conveyance of the sheet. The on and off states of gripping to the leading end of the sheet can be controlled. The gripping mechanism is turned to the off state, and the cylindrical member is retracted from the sheet.

Winding apparatus

An image forming apparatus having a recording head and a recording medium conveying apparatus for conveying the recording medium from one position to another position. The recording medium conveying apparatus includes a rotary body pair capable of holding the recording medium, a driving device for rotatably driving the rotary body pair, and a rotary body moving device for moving the rotary body from one position to another position. The rotary body moves to a first position for receiving the recording medium from the recording head in a first route and conveying it to a second route, and a second position for conveying the recording medium from the first route to a fixing section in a third route.

Image forming apparatus with heat treating of recording material

A reader-printer typified by discharging a print sheet from a printer unit towards the front surface of the apparatus. The central line of a projection lens is positioned on one side of the apparatus as viewed from the front surface of the apparatus with respect to the central line of a projection screen of a reader unit. The central line of a print discharging section in the print sheet discharging/conveying direction is positioned on the other side thereof.

Reader-printer

In an image projecting apparatus such as a microfilm reader and a microfilm reader printer, the inclination angle of a screen surface can be changed without causing distortion and blur in a projected image on the screen surface. The inclination angle of the screen can be changed for the user to see the screen surface with ease such that the screen surface becomes perpendicular to the user's line of sight and the external light reflected by the screen surface is prevented from entering the user's eyes.

Image projecting apparatus

In a reader printer, an upper unit for a printer is made to be rotatable toward an upper unit for a reader, both of which are provided on a lower machine box. The upper reader unit includes a screen for displaying an image. The upper unit for the printer rotates to enter a space in the upper reader unit behind the reflecting member closest to the screen so that a predetermined opening is provided between the lower machine box and the upper printer unit to expose the inside of the apparatus.

Space-efficient reader printer apparatus

An image processing apparatus switchable between an observation mode for projecting an image onto an observation position and a read mode for projecting the image onto a read position includes an optical system for forming an optical path for projecting the image onto the observation position. The optical system includes at least one movable mirror for receiving a light beam from the image. The mirror is movable to a first position for reflecting the light beam from the image toward the observation position and to a second position for reflecting the light beam toward the read position. The apparatus also includes a first moving mechanism for moving the mirror to the first position and to the second position, an image sensor disposed at the read position and movable so as to enter into the optical path or to retreat from the optical path, and a second moving mechanism for moving the image sensor along a straight line crossing the optical path.

Image processing apparatus

An image display apparatus has an optical system including a movable mirror for projecting the image of an image bearing member, a screen for displaying the image projected by the optical system, an image sensor fixed in the vicinity of the screen but outside the image projecting optical path toward the screen, and a moving mechanism for moving the mirror between a display position for projecting the image onto the screen and a reading position for projecting the image onto the image sensor.

Image display apparatus

A projection copying apparatus having an image forming lens, a first reflection member opposed to the lens, a reader optical path lens system and a printer optical path lens system. The reader optical path lens system includes a movable reflection member, and projects an image onto a screen when the apparatus is in a reading mode. When the apparatus is in a printing mode, a driving device moves the printer optical path lens system in such a manner to reflect light from the first reflection member onto a photosensitive medium. The movable reflection member is moved in and out of a reflection light path of the first reflection member to change the apparatus between the reading mode and the printing mode.

Projection copying apparatus

An image recording apparatus which is arranged to project image rays from an image bearing medium onto a screen by the mirrors of a reader system and, as required, to record the image on an image recording medium by rotating a rotary mirror in a scanning manner. The apparatus includes a plurality of reflection mirrors for transmitting image rays reflected by the rotary mirror onto the image recording medium. The mirrors are disposed such that the optical axes of the image rays reflected from the rotary mirror to the final-stage mirror are located in one plane.

Reader printer and image recording apparatus

A reader-printer has a first mirror rotatable to a first position in which it is capable of forming a reader optical path for projecting an image light onto a screen and a second position in which it is capable of forming a printer optical path for projecting the image light onto a photosensitive surface, a second mirror disposed in the reader optical path for disposed in the reader optical path for directing the light from the first mirror to the screen, a third mirror disposed in the printer optical path for directing the light from the first mirror to the photosensitive surface, a driving device for rotating the first mirror to the first position and the second position, and a detecting device disposed outside the reader optical path and the printer optical path for receiving the reflected light from the first mirror during the rotation of the first mirror and detecting the image density.

A reader printer includes a rotatable scanning mirror disposed in an optical path formed between a projection lens and a printer section in correspondence with a printer mode, the scanning mirror being rotated to perform scanning of an image and a movable mirror disposed near such a printer mode optical path for movement between an inserted position where it is inserted in the optical path and a retracted position to which it is retracted from the optical path. Movement of the movable mirror causes mutual switching between the printer mode optical path and the reader mode optical path.
