A diagnosing apparatus of a yarn monitor which continuously detects yarn diameter of each unit of a spinning machine comprising a number of spinning units, is provided with average value calculating means of yarn diameter, yarn evenness calculating means expressing average deviation of yarn diameter in ratio to average value of yarn diameter, and decision means for comparing the average value and the yarn evenness with that of other units and for outputting an abnormal signal when only the average value is different.

Diagnosing method of yarn monitor and apparatus thereof

A yarn unevenness information analyzing apparatus which can perform an analysis of periodic yarn unevennesses without being restricted by another analysis of non-periodic yarn unevennesses. Signals from a large number of yarn evenness detectors are inputted to a CPU for yarn unevenness analysis by way of a first switch for changing over the signals in a short period to successively output the signals and a second switch for changing over the signals in a long period to successively output the signals.

A sliver quality judging method in a textile machine which method can judge whether a spindle whose operating condition is bad is defective or not. Statistics are taken with respect to yarn quality information, including the breakage of yarn, uniformity, etc., for each spindle, then a spindle inferior in such yarn quality is picked out, and from the form of changes with time in the yarn quality information of that spindle there is made judgment whether the spindle is defective or sliver is of poor quality.

A spinning frame management method comprising putting an identification mark on a tray for conveying a spinning bobbin produced by each spinning unit of a spinning frame to a winding unit of a winder, reading the identification mark in transferring the spinning bobbins from the spinning unit to the tray and storing the spinning unit which produced the same bobbin, detecting defects in the yarn of the spinning bobbin in rewinding the yarn of the bobbin and reading the identification mark put on the tray mounted with the same bobbin, and inquiring into the defects of a particular spinning unit by using the stored information.
