A differentially controllable two-way clutch including an outer wheel with a cam portion on an inner circumference, an inner wheel arranged apart from the outer wheel and toward an inner diameter of the two-way clutch as well as rotatably and concentrically with respect to the outer wheel, a torque transmission member located between the outer wheel and the inner wheel to transmit torque, a cage configured to hold the torque transmission member and to be slidable in a circumferential direction and which is differentially controlled, and a spring supported by the cage and configured to be capable of biasing the torque transmission member so that the torque transmission member engages with a cam surface.

Differentially controllable two-way clutch

The present invention provides a roller-type one-way clutch comprising an annular outer race provided at its inner periphery with a cam surface, an inner race spaced apart from the outer race in a radially inner diameter side and disposed coaxially with the outer race for a relative movement therewith and having an annular outer peripheral track surface, a plurality of rollers disposed between the outer race and the inner race and adapted to transmit torque between the outer peripheral track surface and the cam surface, a cage for holding the plurality of rollers, and a C-shaped annular spring for biasing the rollers, through the cage, toward engagement with the cam surface.

Roller-type one-way clutch

A one-way clutch is provided with an outer ring having a cylindrical wall on an inner circumference thereof, an inner ring having cam surfaces formed thereon, rolling elements arranged between the outer and inner rings to perform transmission of a torque between the outer and inner rings, and springs biasing the rolling elements, respectively. The inner ring is provided on its outer circumferential wall with recesses such that lube-oil receiving and accumulating parts are formed between the cylindrical wall of the outer ring and the outer circumferential wall of the inner ring.

One-way clutch

The present invention provides, a roller-type one-way clutch comprising an annular outer race provided at its inner periphery with a cam surface, an inner race spaced apart from the outer race in a radially inner diameter side and disposed in coaxial with the outer race for a relative movement therewith and having an annular outer peripheral track surface, a plurality of rollers disposed between the outer race and the inner race and adapted to transmit torque between the outer peripheral track surface and the cam surface, a cage for holding the plurality of rollers, and a C-shaped annular spring for biasing the rollers toward a direction in which the rollers are engaged by the cam surface, through the cage, and wherein the C-shaped annular spring is assembled in a diameter-enlarged condition.

The present invention provides a sprag type one-way clutch of disengaging type comprising an outer race having a substantially annular inner peripheral track surface, an inner race spaced apart from the outer race in a radial direction and disposed coaxially with and rotatable relative to the outer race and having a substantially annular outer peripheral track surface, a plurality of sprags disposed between the outer race and the inner race to transmit torque between the inner and outer track surfaces, and a ribbon spring for applying rising moment to the sprags, and wherein an outer diameter side cam surface of the sprag is provided with a mechanism for preventing fluctuation of the sprag during a predetermined number of idle revolutions of the outer race.

A one-way clutch comprising an inner race and an outer race radially spaced apart from each other and concentrically disposed for rotation relative to each other, and a spray disposed between the inner race and the outer race for transmitting torque is characterized in that the cam surface of the sprag which contacts with the outer peripheral surface of the inner race is formed with a plurality of axially extending grooves.

A rotation-responsive type one-way clutch comprises an outer race having a cylindrical inner peripheral surface, an inner race having a cam surface, a rolling element for transmitting a torque between the outer and inner races, an urging spring for urging the rolling element, a weight member adapted to be exerted thereto with a centrifugal force, for pressing the rolling element in an engaging direction while overcoming an urging force of the urging spring, and a guide structure for preventing the urging spring from displacing radially outward.

Rotation-responsive type one-way clutch

A rotary motion one way-clutch having an outer race having a cylindrical inner peripheral surface, an inner race formed therein with a cam surface, a rolling element for transmitting a torque between the outer race and the inner race, an urging spring for urging the rolling element, and a weight element for pressing the rolling element in an engaging direction under a centrifugal force, overcoming an urging force of the urging spring, wherein a bearing member having a weight element operating surface for guiding the operation of the weight element and a bearing surface having a bearing action against the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the outer race is provided between the outer race and the inner race.

Rotary motion type one-way clutch

A two-way clutch comprises an inner race element provided with one of a cam surface and a cylindrical surface, an outer race element provided with the other of the cam surface and the cylindrical surface, torque transmission members interposed between the cam surface and the cylindrical surface for performing torque transmission therebetween, springs for biasing the torque transmission members in a direction substantially along the cam surfaces, and a cage for retaining the torque transmission members and the biasing means, the cage being supported to be rotatable relative with the cam surfaces. The cage is elastically retained by elastic retaining means at a position where the torque transmission members are in the respective neutral conditions with respect to the cam surface. The springs are provided only on one side of the torque transmission members.

Two-way clutch

In a ratchet one-way clutch including an inner race, an outer race provided coaxially with the inner race, a pawl member for transmitting torque between the inner race and the outer race, and a damper mechanism for absorbing shock at the time of engagement of the pawl member, a sliding plate is interposed between two members which constitute the damper mechanism and are rotatable relative to each other.

Ratchet one-way clutch, and stator apparatus using the same

A ratchet type one-way clutch in which an outer ring is made of aluminum is improved in durability. In order to solve such problems as an increase in the number of parts, complication, bulkiness, an increase in weight and an increase in cost, there is provided a one-way clutch with the lock-up function also having the function of idly rotating only in one direction and the function of blocking the rotation in both directions. In a ratchet type one-way clutch having an outer ring having a pocket in the inner periphery thereof, an inner ring disposed coaxially with the outer ring and having a notch in the outer periphery thereof, a pawl contained in the pocket and fitted in the notch of the inner ring for transmitting torque between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a resilient member for biasing the pawl toward the inner ring, the outer ring is made of aluminum, and the inner peripheral side surface of the outer ring is subjected to a hardening process.

Ratchet type one-way clutch and method of manufacturing the same

The present invention provides a stator assembly in which axial side portions of the assembly are supported by needle bearings, wherein projections are formed on flange portions provided on races of the needle bearings and the projections are fitted into recesses formed in the side portions of the stator assembly.

The present invention provides a ratchet one-way clutch comprising inner and outer races disposed on a same axis and in which a pawl member as a torque transmitting member and a biasing member for biasing the pawl member are provided in one of the inner and outer races and a recessed portion into which the pawl member is fitted is provided in the other of the inner and outer races so that torque can be transmitted by engagement between the pawl member and the recessed portion and wherein a first pocket for housing the pawl member is provided in either the outer race or the inner race, and a supporting portion for supporting the pawl member in an axial direction is provided on an inner surface of the first pocket.
