A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and a movable scroll. A facing surface of the fixed scroll that faces the movable scroll has a fixed oil groove. The fixed oil groove has a fixed circumferential groove portion. The fixed circumferential groove portion has a circular-arc portion that extends in the circumferential direction, and a wide portion wider in a radial direction than a groove width of the circular-arc portion. A facing surface of the movable scroll that faces the fixed scroll has a movable oil groove. The movable oil groove has a movable circumferential groove portion, and a radial groove portion that communicates with the movable circumferential groove portion. In a predetermined region of an angle range where the movable scroll makes an orbiting motion, a portion of the radial groove portion overlaps the wide portion as viewed from an axial direction.

Scroll compressor and refrigeration device

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. Each of the fixed and orbiting scrolls includes an end plate and a spiral wrap standing on a front surface of the end plate. The scrolls are arranged such that the front surfaces of the end plates face each other and the wraps are engaged with each other. The orbiting scroll eccentrically rotates, without turning on an axis thereof, with respect to the fixed scroll to compress fluid in compression chambers respectively formed inside and outside the wrap of the orbiting scroll. Each wrap is formed in a shape such that at least one of the compression chambers serves as a rate-reduced compression chamber where a volume change rate thereof is reduced in a middle of a compression phase.

Scroll compressor reducing over-compression loss

A compressor is configured to compress a refrigerant and use a lubricating oil. The compressor includes a compression mechanism configured to compress the refrigerant, a driving shaft configured to rotate about a rotation axis in order to drive the compression mechanism, a slide bearing slidably supporting the driving shaft, a first surface fixed to the driving shaft and intersecting with a line arranged in parallel to the rotation axis, a second surface facially abutted to the first surface, and a recovery space formed in the compressor. The recovery space is configured and arranged to recover the lubricating oil leaking out of bottom ends of sliding surfaces of the slide bearing and the driving shaft. The first surface and the second surface respectively continue to surfaces forming the recovery space.

Compressor

A scroll compressor includes first and second scroll members housed in a casing. The first scroll member has a fluid inlet and a first through hole spaced from the fluid inlet. A fluid introducing pipe is configured to connect to the first through hole. A piston, having an annular groove and a second through hole, is disposed in the first through hole and is biased toward the fluid introducing pipe. The piston is configured to shut an end of the first through hole when fluid pressure larger than the biasing force is introduced into the fluid introducing pipe and to open the end of the first through hole when fluid pressure smaller than the biasing force is introduced into the fluid introducing pipe. A piston ring is fitted into the annular groove of the piston and has a stepped fitting end.

Scroll compressor

Disclosed is an enclosed type compressor in which a scroll type compression mechanism and an electric motor are attached firmly to a casing, with the scroll type compression mechanism and the electric motor in contact with an inner face of the casing. Formed in a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the casing are a contact part of the casing which makes contact with the scroll type compression mechanism (the electric motor) and a non-contact part of the casing which does not make contact with the scroll type compression mechanism (the electric motor). The non-contact part with respect to the scroll type compression mechanism has a peripheral length different from that of the non-contact part with respect to the electric motor.

Enclosed compressor with vibration reduction

Formed in a scroll type compression mechanism is a connection passageway with a discharge opening through which refrigerant compressed by the compression mechanism flows out into a clearance space defined between the compression mechanism and a drive motor. A muffler space in communication with the connection passageway that is configured to reduce operating noise is formed in the compression mechanism. A motor cooling passageway configured to circulate working fluid which has flowed out into the clearance space is formed between the drive motor and an inner surface area of a casing. A guide plate is disposed in the clearance space. Formed in the guide plate is a flow dividing concave portion which causes a part of refrigerant flowing toward the motor cooling passageway to be distributed in a circumferential direction and toward an internal end of a discharge pipe located in the clearance space.

High-low pressure dome type compressor

In a rotating compressor, an outer peripheral surface of a partition member which is secured firmly to a casing so as to divide the inside of the casing into a high-level pressure space and a low-level pressure space, is provided with a peripheral groove for allowing for shrinkage of the casing at a weld area where a trunk part and end plate of the casing are welded together. As a result of such arrangement, the partition member is strongly tightened by making utilization of such shrinkage, thereby not only enhancing sealability between the high-level pressure space and the low-level pressure space in the inside of the casing but also preventing a drop in workability during assembling and an increase in cost.
