A piston is slidably provided in a cylinder and partitions a first pump chamber, and a second pump chamber connected to an object to be operated. A first on-off valve is provided between the first pump chamber and the outside. A second on-off valve is provided in a connecting flow passage that connects the first pump chamber and the second pump chamber to each other. When the piston is moved forward by an electromagnetic force of a solenoid portion, a capacity of the first pump chamber decreases, and a capacity of the second pump chamber increases. When the piston is moved backward by a biasing force of a spring, the capacity of the first pump chamber increases, and the capacity of the second pump chamber decreases. A pressure receiving area of the front face of the piston is larger than that of the back face thereof.

Electromagnetic pump

A valve section that functions as a solenoid valve device that includes a pressure adjusting section that adjusts fluid pressure supplied from a fluid pressure source; a pump section that sucks and discharges working fluid in a reservoir; and a single solenoid section that drives the pressure adjusting section and the pump section.

Solenoid valve

An electromagnetic pump includes a cylinder with a stepped inner diameter with first and second inner diameters. A piston inside the cylinder, with a stepped outer diameter including first and second outer diameters slidable on the respective inner diameters, defines first and second fluid chambers. Reciprocal movement of the piston produces a greater change in volume in the first chamber than the second chamber. An electromagnetic portion moves the piston to decrease the volume of the first chamber and increase the volume of the second chamber. A biasing member moves the piston to increase the volume of the first chamber and decrease the volume of the second chamber. A first valve allows fluid to flow to the first chamber and prohibits reverse flow. A second valve embedded in the piston allows fluid to flow from the first chamber to the second chamber and prohibits reverse flow.

A pump apparatus configured with a first pump for pumping working fluid in accordance with a reciprocation of a piston using a space between a first open/close valve for suction and a second open/close valve for discharge as a pump chamber. The pump apparatus is also configured a first flow passage for supplying the working fluid from a supply source to an operation subject via the first open/close valve, the pump chamber, and the second open/close valve in accordance with an operation of the first pump. A second flow passage supplies the working fluid pumped by a second pump, which is different from the first pump, to the pump chamber. A selector is configured to select either the first flow passage or the second flow passage.

Pump apparatus, power transmission apparatus, and vehicle

A manual valve is formed with a drain input port that closes if a shift is made to the D position, and opens for draining if a shift is made to the N position. A switching valve communicates an output port of a pressure regulating valve portion and an oil passage of a clutch and closes a drain port during engine operation when a line pressure is applied, and cuts off communication between the output port of the pressure regulating valve portion and the oil passage of the clutch and communicates the oil passage with the drain port during an engine automatic stop when the line pressure is not applied. The drain input port and the drain port are connected by a drain oil passage.

Power transmission device and vehicle having the same

A power transmission configured with a mechanical pump that generates and deliver a fluid pressure to a clutch. An electromagnetic pump generates and delivers a fluid pressure to the clutch, and an accumulator connects the clutch and the electromagnetic pump, and accumulates fluid pressure acting there between. A switching valve selectively switches between connecting the mechanical pump side and the clutch in a fluid communicating manner and connecting the electromagnetic pump and the clutch in a fluid communicating manner. A valve drive portion that drives the switching valve so as to connect the mechanical pump side and the clutch when the mechanical pump is driving, and drives the switching valve so as to connect the electromagnetic pump and the clutch when the electromagnetic pump is driving in place of the mechanical pump.

Power transmitting device and vehicle having same mounted thereon

A power transmission device is installed in a vehicle and connected to a power generation source that is capable of outputting power for driving. The power transmission device includes a belt-type continuously variable transmission; a working fluid accumulation portion; a friction engagement element; a first pump; a pressure regulating valve; a friction engagement element pressure regulating valve; a second pump; and a switching valve.

A power transmission device that includes a clutch that transmits power from a motor to an axle; a first pump that is driven by power from the motor to generate and output fluid pressure; a second pump that receives and is driven by a supply of electric power to generate and output fluid pressure; a line pressure generating valve that is operated by operation fluid input to an operation input port, and regulates fluid pressure output from the first pump to generate a line pressure for engaging the clutch; and a switching valve that switches between a first connection state and a second connection state.

A solenoid valve apparatus includes a solenoid valve and a switching device that switches between a first state in which the working fluid in the pump chamber is discharged when the solenoid valve functions as a regulator valve and a second state in which discharge of the working fluid from the pump chamber is prohibited when the solenoid valve functions as the electromagnetic pump.

A solenoid valve device includes a solenoid valve that has a solenoid portion, a valve element that drivingly slides using electromagnetic force generated by the solenoid portion and regulates and outputs fluid pressure supplied from a fluid pressure source, a spring that biases the valve element in the sliding direction, and a spring chamber that accommodates the spring; an accumulating portion that accumulates operation fluid; an intake check valve that permits the flow of operation fluid from the accumulating portion to the spring chamber; and a discharge check valve that permits the flow of operation fluid from the spring chamber to an operation destination different from the accumulating portion.

Solenoid valve device

A drive unit that includes a solenoid device that includes: a solenoid section having a movable portion that abuts on a case to arrive at an initial state when de-energized; a pump section axially sliding in association with a movement of the movable portion by an electromagnetic force of the solenoid section and pumping a hydraulic fluid by reciprocation; and an elastic member biasing the pump section in a direction counter to the electromagnetic force of the solenoid section; and a control unit that controls the solenoid device so that a current applied to the solenoid section is repeatedly increased and decreased between an upper limit value and a lower limit value that is greater than 0.

A power transmission device that includes a clutch that transmits power from a motor to an axle; a first pump that is driven by power from the motor to generate and output fluid pressure; a second pump that receives and is driven by a supply of electric power to generate and output fluid pressure; a pressure regulating valve that regulates a pressure of operation fluid output from the first pump, and delivers at least a portion of operation fluid discharged in connection with the pressure regulation to a lubrication target for use as lubricant; and a switching valve that switches between a first connection state and a second connection state.

A solenoid valve device that includes a solenoid valve; a drive circuit that drives the solenoid section; a current sensor that detects a current applied to the solenoid section; and a control unit that controls, when the solenoid valve is served as the pressure control valve, the drive circuit by performing a feedback control based on the current detected by the current sensor so that a current in accordance with an output pressure command is applied to the solenoid section, and controls, when the solenoid valve is served as the solenoid pump, the drive circuit without performing the feedback control so that a pump current is applied to the solenoid section.

An electromagnetic pressure regulating valve includes a hollow core, a coil surrounding the core and a plunger for applying a load to a valve member through a shaft fitted in the hollow of the core, so that the pressure regulating valve is actuated when an electric signal is fed to the coil. A bushing is mounted in the hollow portion of the core for supporting the shaft for sliding relative to the core and is made of a resin material on at least its sliding face contacting the shaft. An oil passage is provided in the valve for circulating a lubricant to lubricate the areas of sliding contact between the bushing and the shaft.
