A structure for fixing a connector to a fixing portion includes the connector and the fixing portion. The fixing portion includes a bracket and a fitting portion. The bracket is erected on the fixing portion. The connector includes a lock portion configured to, when the bracket is inserted into the lock portion by attaching the connector to the fixing portion, lock the bracket. The fitting portion is configured such that a part of the connector is fitted into the fitting portion when the connector is attached to the fixing portion. The bracket may be integrally molded with the fixing portion molded with a resin. The fitting portion may have a hole portion running along a fitting direction in which the connector is attached to the fixing portion, and a slit may be formed in the fitting portion.

Structure for fixing connector

A connector includes an insulating housing, a conductor unit having a plurality of conductors arranged in a row and an insulating holding body integrally molded with the conductors, and a sealing member that seals between the conductor unit and the housing. Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body and terminal parts provided at both ends of the body, respectively. The holding body includes a fitting part fitted to the housing, a plurality of covering parts each extending from the fitting part along the body and individually surrounding the body, and insulating walls each dividing two adjacent terminal parts. Each of the insulating walls has a main wall part and the main wall part extends on an extension line of a gap between two adjacent covering parts and divides two adjacent terminal parts.

Connector

A connector includes: a housing having a first through-hole; a plate-shaped conductor inserted into the first through-hole; and a sealing part that has a flat annular shape in a plane view and seals between the conductor and the hosing. The sealing part has a pair of linear first sealing parts and a pair of arc-shaped second sealing parts. The housing has a recess that has a flat shape in a plan view and receives the sealing part. An inner dimension in a longitudinal direction of the recess is substantially equal to an outer dimension in the longitudinal direction of the sealing part, and an inner dimension in a short direction of the recess is smaller than an outer dimension in a short direction of the sealing part. The conductor presses and compresses the first sealing part and the second sealing part in a held state.

A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device, a plurality of conductors to electrically connect the first device and the second device, an insulating sealing member that includes a plurality of annular sealing parts that seal between the conductors and the housing and a connecting part that connects the sealing parts, and an insulating support member that includes second through holes into which the conductors are inserted, is attached to the housing from a side of the second device, and supports the sealing parts. The housing and the sealing member have a first fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along an axial direction of the conductor, and the sealing member and the support member have a second fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along the axial direction of the conductor.

Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body. A connector structure includes a female housing and a male housing. The male housing includes a recessed portion configured to fit with the female housing, and holding first male terminals to be connected with the first female terminals and second male terminals to be connected with the second female terminals.

The heat transfer member of the waterproof packing is formed of metal, the heat transfer member being configured to transfer heat from the connector housing. A bonding method for a conductor of an electric wire including a conductor formed of a plurality of strands and a sheath covering the conductor such that the conductor is exposed to a predetermined length. The bonding method includes bonding the strands to each other, the strands being spaced apart from the sheath by a predetermined length. An outer diameter of a middle portion of the conductor between a bonded portion and a portion covered with the sheath gradually decreases toward the bonded portion. A maximum value of an intersection angle between an upper surface of the bonded portion or a longitudinal direction of the electric wire and the strands of the middle portion is smaller than a predetermined angle. The predetermined angle is an angle at which breakage of the strands is prevented when the bonding is performed.

A bonding method for a conductor of an electric wire includes a conductor formed of a plurality of strands and a sheath covering the conductor such that the conductor is exposed to a predetermined length. The bonding method ultrasonically bonds the plurality of strands of the electric wire to each other using an anvil and a horn. When the strands are ultrasonically bonded to each other by clamping a part of the conductor exposed from the sheath between the anvil and the horn throughout a predetermined length and ultrasonically vibrating the horn, a distance from the anvil or the horn to the sheath of the electric wire is shorter than a length of the strands when the strand vibrates in a primary mode by ultrasonic vibration.

Difficulty of manufacturing is reduced while ensuring waterproof property with respect to a contact portion with an aluminum core wire. A barrel portion of a crimp terminal includes an inner barrel piece and an outer barrel piece, and includes a seal member which is attached over a first region, a second region and a third region and which seals, after crimping, a space between the inner barrel piece and the outer barrel piece, an opening of the barrel portion on a terminal portion side, and a space between a covered portion and the barrel portion. An inner surface of the barrel portion is provided with a plurality of recesses arranged dispersedly, the recess having a circular shape in a plane view with respect to the inner surface.

Crimp terminal

Provided is a crimp terminal for alleviating manufacturing while maintaining waterproof property against a contact portion with an aluminum core wire. A barrel portion of a crimp terminal has an inner barrel piece and an outer barrel piece, and a seal member is provided for being stuck across a first region, a second region, and a third region, and after crimping for sealing a space between the inner barrel piece and the outer barrel piece, an opening of the barrel portion formed cylindrical on the terminal portion side, and a space between the covered portion and the barrel portion, and a plurality of recesses is dispersedly provided on an inner surface of the barrel portion so as to partly overlap with the seal member.
