A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell module and an oxidant gas temperature adjustment device for adjusting a temperature of an oxidant gas supplied to the fuel cell module. The fuel cell module includes a first fuel cell and a second fuel cell. The first fuel cell is at least configured to reform a fuel gas. The fuel cell system includes a temperature control unit for setting a target temperature of the oxidant gas supplied to the fuel cell module such that a temperature of the first fuel cell and a temperature of the second fuel cell do not exceed a prescribed upper-limit temperature and controlling the oxidant gas temperature adjustment device based on of the target temperature, and the temperature control unit calculates the target temperature.

Fuel cell system

The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell including a cell stack configured to have a reforming catalyst for generating hydrogen from hydrocarbon, a first flow path configured to supply a fuel containing hydrocarbon to the cell stack, and a second flow path configured to supply an oxidant gas to the cell stack such that the oxidant gas flows oppositely or orthogonally to the fuel. The control method for the fuel cell system including: detecting a temperature of a discharged oxidant gas that is the oxidant gas discharged from the second flow path; and performing a temperature control of the fuel cell based on the temperature of the discharged oxidant gas.

A fuel cell system for generating power by supplying anode gas and cathode gas to a fuel cell includes a valve provided in the fuel cell system and to be driven by a stepping motor, a stop-time valve control unit for controlling a valve body of the valve to a predetermined initialization position by controlling the stepping motor when a request to stop the fuel cell system is made, and a valve initializing unit for rotating the stepping motor by a predetermined initialization step number smaller than a maximum step number of the stepping motor so that the valve body of the valve moves toward the initialization position when a request to start the fuel cell system is made.
