A medical device includes a case obtained by mating a liquid-phase-portion case and a gas-phase-portion case to each other, a membrane member as an elastic member with which a liquid-phase portion covered by the liquid-phase-portion case and a gas-phase portion covered by the gas-phase-portion case are separated from each other, fixing parts and at which the liquid-phase-portion case and the gas-phase-portion case that are mated to each other are fixed to each other, holding surfaces and between which a peripheral edge of the membrane member is held, and a sealing part that seals the entirety of the peripheral edge of the membrane member held between the holding surfaces and. The medical device has a releasing part that releases the pressure in an air gap produced between the sealing part and the fixing parts.

Medical device and method of manufacturing the same

An attaching member attachable to a blood purification apparatus including a peristaltic pump, the attaching member holding a pump tube to be squeezed in a predetermined direction by the peristaltic pump for liquid delivery. The attaching member includes a body attachable to a predetermined position of the blood purification apparatus, and a holding portion attached to the body and that holds the pump tube. The holding portion holds the pump tube such that the pump tube is inclined in a direction in which the pump tube is attached to the peristaltic pump.

Attaching member

A blood purification apparatus including an apparatus body to which a medical component for giving blood purification treatment to a patient is to be attached; a storage unit that stores treatment information regarding the blood purification treatment for the patient; a reading unit capable of reading component information of the medical component held by an information-holding unit; and a verifying unit capable of comparing the component information read by the reading unit and the treatment information stored in the storage unit and verifying whether or not the medical component is appropriate for being attached to the apparatus body. The medical component is sealed in a sterile bag before being attached to the apparatus body. Furthermore, the reading unit is capable of reading the component information in the information-holding unit from an outside of the sterile bag.

Blood purification apparatus and method of verifying medical component by blood purification apparatus

A blood purification apparatus capable of performing pre-substitution and post-substitution simultaneously is provided. A patient's blood flows through an arterial blood circuit and reaches a dialyzer. The blood purified by the dialyzer flows through a venous blood circuit and returns into the patient. A first substitution pump delivers substitution fluid through a substitution line to a branching point. A pre-substitution line connects the branching point and the arterial blood circuit to each other and is provided with a second substitution pump at a halfway position thereof. A post-substitution line connects the branching point and the venous blood circuit to each other and is provided with a check valve at a halfway position thereof. When the two pumps are activated simultaneously, the substitution fluid is supplied to the arterial blood circuit (pre-substitution). When only the first substitution pump is activated, the substitution fluid is supplied to the venous blood circuit (post-substitution). When the flow rate of the second substitution pump is set higher than the flow rate of the first substitution pump, pre-substitution and post-substitution are performed simultaneously.

Blood purification apparatus

A blood purification device includes a blood circuit for extracorporeally circulating blood of a patient; a liquid supply circuit for supplying a supply liquid to the blood circuit or to a blood purifier provided on the blood circuit and a waste liquid circuit for discharging the waste liquid from the blood purifier. Each of the blood circuit, the liquid supply circuit and the waste liquid circuit comprises a flexible tube. The blood purification device comprises a tube identification unit that performs a tube identification process for identifying a tube used for the blood circuit, the liquid supply circuit or the waste liquid circuit or determining whether or not there is an abnormality in the tube, based on an amount of liquid sent from a peristaltic pump provided on the blood circuit, the liquid supply circuit or the waste liquid circuit, or pressure fluctuation in the circuit, caused when driving the pump for a predetermined time.

Blood purification device

The present teachings provide a blood purification apparatus including a drain-liquid temporary chamber that stores drain liquid drained from a blood purifier that purifies blood of a patient, a first drain-liquid drain line through which the drain liquid flows into the drain-liquid temporary chamber, a second drain-liquid drain line through which the drain liquid stored in the drain-liquid temporary chamber is drained to an outside of the apparatus, a draining unit provided to the second drain-liquid drain line and that drains the drain liquid stored in the drain-liquid temporary chamber to the outside of the apparatus, a remaining-amount-detecting unit that detects an amount of drain liquid remaining in the drain-liquid temporary chamber, a judging unit that judges whether or not a reference remaining amount is reached by the drain liquid in the drain-liquid temporary chamber from a result of detection by the remaining-amount-detecting unit, and a control unit that controls the draining unit. The control unit executes a draining process in which the draining unit is controlled such that the drain liquid in the drain-liquid temporary chamber is drained to the outside of the apparatus. The draining process is ended if it is judged by the judging unit that the reference remaining amount is reached by the drain liquid in the drain-liquid temporary chamber.

A medical connector that allows ventilation of vapor used in vapor sterilization and has an internal flow route that is tightly closable without using any separate clamping device. A medical connector includes a body having an internal flow route connected to an other flow route, proximal portions included in the body and having respective one-side connection ports at which the internal flow route is connectable to the one flow route, a distal portion having an other-side connection port at which the internal flow route is connectable to the other flow route, one-side lid portion, and an other-side lid portion whose state is switchable between a closing state and a ventilating state in which the other-side lid portion covers the other-side connection port such that ventilation is allowed.

Medical connector

An object is to provide a co-injection member which can smoothly collect a liquid of an internal flow route, which can smoothly inject a liquid into the internal flow route, and which can reliably prevent congestion of the liquid in the internal flow route. A co-injection member includes a main body that can be connected to a blood circuit through which blood is circulated, an internal flow route that is formed inside the main body, and that can circulate the liquid of the blood circuit, an inlet flow route that is formed inside the main body, and that introduces the blood into the internal flow route, an outlet flow route that is formed inside the main body, and that can discharge the blood of the internal flow route, and a rubber member that is attached to an opening formed in the main body, and that separates the inside and the outside of the internal flow route from each other. The co-injection member can collect the blood of the internal flow route and can inject the other liquid into the internal flow route via the rubber member. The inlet flow route extends while a diameter thereof gradually decreases toward a position shifted from a center of the internal flow route.
