A wire harness is constructed by bundling a plurality of electric wires in which conductors are surrounded with insulating coatings respectively. The electric wires are constructed of aluminum electric wires in which the conductors consist of aluminum or aluminum alloy and copper electric wires in which the conductors consist of copper or copper alloy. A plurality of the aluminum electric wires is disposed so as to surround the copper electric wires having a lower shape retention property than the aluminum electric wires. The bundles electric wires include bent portions formed by bending or curving the bundled electric wires respectively.

Wire harness

A terminal fitting () has a connecting portion () to be connected with a mating connecting portion, and a crimping portion () continuous with the rear end of the connecting portion () and including a bottom plate () and crimping pieces () standing up from the bottom plate (). The crimping portion () is crimped into connection with a wire () while surrounding an end portion of the wire () by the bottom plate () and the crimping pieces (). The bottom plate () is formed with a reinforcing rib () extending in forward and backward directions.

Terminal fitting

A female terminal fitting () is provided with a box-shaped main portion () into which a mating tab () is insertable, and a resilient touching piece () having a projection as a contact projection () that can contact the tab () is provided in the main portion (). The tab is formed by folding the opposite widthwise sides of a metal plate in a thickness direction and causing the end edges of the folded parts to face each other. A flat surface () of the contact projection () comes into flat contact with the tab () while crossing over the facing ends () when the tab () is inserted properly into the main portion (). Accordingly, edges () of the facing ends () do not sharply act on the contact projection ().
