A connector unit includes a first connector, a second connector and a seal member to be interposed therebetween. The first connector includes a fitting portion having a distal end portion. The second connector includes a fitted portion. A thickness of the fitting portion is reduced at the distal end portion with an inner peripheral surface of the distal end portion being recessed. The fitted portion includes an attachment portion to which the seal member is to be attached and a housing portion. When the first connector and the second connector are fitted to each other, the distal end portion is accommodated in the housing portion, and the seal member performs sealing between the fitting portion and the fitted portion by being sandwiched between the attachment portion and a portion of the fitting portion, the portion being provided further in a second direction than the distal end portion.

Connector unit

A connector includes a first connector housing including a first wall. The first connector housing is attachable to a second connector housing such that the first wall opposes a second wall of the second connector housing. The first connector housing includes: a fitting chamber defined at least by the first wall, the fitting chamber allowing a counterpart connector housing to be fitted therein; and an engaging arm provided on the first wall, the engaging arm being configured to engage an engaged arm provided on the second wall of the second connector housing when the first connector housing is completely attached to the second connector housing. The engaging arm serves as an attachment state detection mechanism configured to detect an incomplete attachment state in which the first connector housing is incompletely attached to the second connector housing.

Connector

A connector unit includes a first housing and a second housing which are mateable, and a lever element to be pivotably supported by the first housing, wherein the lever element includes a plate-shaped lever main body and a sliding element, wherein the lever main body is rotatable between an initial position and a completely rotated position for both housings, wherein the second housing includes a locking portion, wherein the lever main body includes a locked portion which is locked by the locking portion in the completely rotated position, wherein the sliding element is provided so as to be slidable between a protruding position and a pushed-in position, and wherein the sliding element is configured so that in the protruding position, the lever main body is rotated and the locking portion locks the locked portion in order to slide the sliding element from the protruding position to the pushed-in position.

A connector includes a first housing, a second housing and a fitting assuring member. The second housing includes a first locking protrusion portion having a first slope. The fitting assuring member includes a first assuring locking portion that gets over the first locking protrusion portion to be thereby locked to the first locking protrusion portion when the first housing and the second housing are fitted to each other. The first assuring locking portion begins to slide on the first slope before completion of the fitting, and stays on the first slope until the completion of the fitting.

Connector and connector unit

A connector includes a housing having a housing body, a lock arm and a protective wall. The lock arm includes a swingable arm, a lock claw and a locking projection. The protective wall includes a turn-up preventing projection projecting toward the swingable arm, the turn-up preventing projection being provided such that the locking projection is disposed between the housing body and the turn-up preventing projection and such that the locking projection and the turn-up preventing projection overlap each other in a direction in which the swingable arm swings. With respect to the fitting direction, a front end surface of the locking projection and a front end surface of the turn-up preventing projection are flush with each other and a rear end surface of the locking projection and a rear end surface of the turn-up preventing projection are flush with each other.

A housing includes a housing main body which has a fitting portion configured to be fitted with a mating housing and having a terminal accommodating chamber, and a hood portion which covers a periphery of the fitting portion. The housing further includes an annular seal member configured to be attached to a base part of the fitting portion, and a retainer configured to be inserted into a retainer accommodating hole to lock a terminal accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber. An opening portion through which the retainer passes to be inserted into the retainer accommodating hole is formed at a position facing the retainer accommodating hole in the hood portion. A guide portion that guides the retainer into the retainer accommodating hole is provided at an edge portion of the opening portion.

A connector structure has a housing including a connection portion and a retainer to be attached to the connection portion from a lateral side of the connection portion and to lock, when the retainer is attached to the connection portion, the terminal. The connection portion includes an upper portion and a lower portion, at least one of which having a guide rail. The retainer includes a pair of plate portions and a coupling portion coupling the plate portions to each other at a first side of the retainer, the retainer being to be attached to the connection portion from a second side of the retainer, the second side being opposite to the first side. At least one of the plate portions has a slide rail to engage with the guide rail when the retainer is attached to the connection portion.

Connector structure

A housing includes a housing main body configured to be fitted with a mating housing, and a cover configured to be mounted to an end portion of the housing main body from which an electric wire is drawn out and to cover the electric wire drawn out from the housing main body. The housing main body includes a lock arm for locking a protruding portion of the mating housing, and a release arm that swings when an operation portion of the release arm is pressed to release a locking of the protruding portion and the lock arm. The cover has a lock piece that is interposed between the housing main body and the operation portion when the cover is mounted to the housing main body so as to restrict a swing of the release arm.

A connector includes a housing including a terminal accommodating chamber to accommodate a terminal, and a tubular portion to surround an insertion opening, through which the terminal enters the terminal accommodating chamber, the tubular portion including an opening portion, a water stop member to prevent water from passing through the insertion opening and a holding member to be inserted from the opening portion such that the water stop member is placed between the insertion opening and the holding member, the holding member retaining the water stop member inside the tubular portion. The holding member includes a projection on an outer surface of the holding member toward an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion at an end portion of the holding member, the end portion is close to the opening portion of the tubular portion when the holding member is fitted in the tubular portion.

A connector includes a housing having a terminal receiving chamber having an opening on one or both of opposite sides in a preset direction crossing an insertion direction of a connection terminal; and a side retainer having a pair of opposed plate portions disposed in positions to sandwich the housing from the opposite sides in the preset direction. The side retainer is attached laterally to the housing and movably supported on the housing to move between a temporary locking position to temporarily lock the connection terminal and a formal locking position to formally lock the connection terminal. One or both of the opposed plate portions of the side retainer covers one or both of the opposite sides of the terminal receiving chamber when the side retainer locates at the formal locking position.

A lever type connector includes a housing configured to fit to a mating connector and a lever mounted on the housing and configured to draw the mating connector and the housing closer to each other when the lever moves from a temporary locking position to a final locking position. The lever includes a temporary locking arm which is elastically deformable in a direction away from a surface of the housing, and rotates between the temporary locking position and the final locking position while the temporary locking arm comes into press-contact with a sliding surface which is part of the surface of the housing.

A connector includes a tubular connector housing inside which a terminal accommodating room is formed, a terminal that is inserted into the terminal accommodating room from behind, and a retainer that retains the terminal which is accommodated in the terminal accommodating room by being mounted to the connector housing from a direction crossing the inserting direction of the terminal, wherein the retainer is formed with a terminal contact part which is inserted from an opening, with which a wall of the terminal accommodating room of the connector housing is formed, to touch the terminal which is accommodated in the terminal accommodating room, and the terminal contact part is formed into such a shape to push the terminal toward the front side of the terminal accommodating room in a process that the retainer moves to a regular position of the connector housing.
