An asymmetric dioxazine compound represented by the following formula (I) in the free acid form: ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 independently of one another are each sulfo, halo, alkyl or alkoxy, X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 independently of one another are each hydrogen, halo, alkyl, alkoxy or phenoxy, R.sub.1 is hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are each hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halo or unsubstituted or substituted amino, Z is a fiber-reactive group, m and n independently of one another are each 0 or 1, provided that m.noteq.n, and L is 1 or 2. This compound is suitable for dyeing and printing cellulose fiber, natural and synthetic polyamide fibers, polyurethane fiber, leather and the like and mixed yarns thereof, to obtain dyed or printed products of a color fast to light, wetness and chlorine with superior build-up and level dyeing properties.

A polyazo compound of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein X is ##STR2## --NR.sub.2 R.sub.3, --OR.sub.4 or --SR.sub.5, in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen or alkyl, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, naphthyl or benzyl, A is phenylene, naphthylene or alkylene, Z is a fiber-reactive group of --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z' in which Z' is a splittable group, Y is pyridinio, and F is polyazo dye moiety carrying a fiber-reactive group like that represented by Z, which compound is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to obtain a product dyed or printed in a color superior in various fastness properties with superior build-up property.

Polyazo dye compounds having vinylsulfone type and pyridinium type fiber

A polyazo compound of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein A is phenylene, naphthylene or alkylene, X is --NR.sub.2 R.sub.3, --OR.sub.4 or --SR.sub.5 in which R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, naphthylene or benzyl, Z is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z' in which Z' is a splittable group, R.sub.1 is hydrogen or alkyl, and F is polyazo dye moiety carrying a fiber reactive group like that represented by Z. This compound is useful for the dyeing or printing of fiber materials to obtain a product dyed or printed in a color superior in various fastness properties with superior build-up property.

Polyazo dye compounds having plural vinylsulfone type fiber reactive

A monoazo compound of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein D is sulfonaphthyl, sulfophenyl or carboxyphenyl, any one of A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 is sulfo and the other is hydrogen, methoxy or ethoxy, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen or alkyl, B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 are independently phenylene or naphthylene, and Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 are independently vinyl, .beta.-sulfatoethyl or the like, which is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to give dyed or printed products of a deep color excellent in fastness properties.

Monoazo compound having triazinyl bridging group and two vinylsulfone

A monoazo compound represented by the following formula in a free acid form, ##STR1## wherein D is a sulfophenyl or sulfonaphthyl, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently hydrogen or alkyl; B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 are independently phenylene, naphthylene, or alkylene, provided that at least one of B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 is phenylene or naphthylene, Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 are independently vinyl or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z in which Z is splittable by the action of an alkali, and n is 0 or 1, and the monoazo compound is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to obtain dyed or printed products of extremely deep scarlet color excellent in various fastness with superior build-up property.

Monoazo compound having two vinylsulfone type fiber reactive groups

A monoazo compound of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently hydrogen or alkyl, R.sub.4 is alkyl or carboxy, A is ##STR2## in which R.sub.5 is hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, sulfo or carboxy, X is hydrogen or sulfo, n is 0 or 1, and the asterisked linkage bonds to the azo group, B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 are independently phenylene or naphthylene, W is hydrogen, carbamoyl, sulfoalkyl, cyano, sulfo, chloro or bromo, and Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 are independently --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OSO.sub.3 H or the like, which is useful for dyeing hydroxy group- or carbonamide group-containing materials in a deep yellow color excellent in various fastness properties such as light fastness, perspiration-light fastness and chlorine fastness.

Aryl monoazo pyridone yellow compound having two vinylsulfone type fiber

A triazine compound having at least one symtriazine moiety of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, Y is vinyl or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 L in which L is a group splittable by the action of an alkali, and Z is phenylene or naphthylene unsubstituted or substituted once by sulfo, which is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to give dyed or printed products of excellent fastness properties with superior dye performance, even when dyebath conditions including temperatures, pH, amounts of an inorganic salt and bath ratio are varied to some extent.
