The present disclosure provides: a biodegradable nonwoven fabric for thermoforming, the biodegradable nonwoven fabric being composed of a fiber of a polylactic acid-based polymer, and having a basis weight of 20-300 g/m, preferably, a biodegradable nonwoven fabric characterized by being composed of a long fiber of a polylactic acid polymer, having an MD-direction elongation of 50% or more at 120&#xb0; C., and having an MD-direction dimensional change rate of &#xb1;4% or less at 80-140&#xb0; C. as determined by thermomechanical analysis; a method for producing a molded body by using said biodegradable nonwoven fabric; and a method for molding a biodegradable beverage extraction container, the method being characterized in that the molded body has an MD-direction elongation change rate of 4% or less, as determined by thermomechanical analysis (TMA) under a load of 0.05 N/2 mm at 30-100&#xb0; C.

The present invention provides a novel packaging material for sterilization which has processing suitability as a packaging material, is compatible with all sterilization processing methods such as those performed under high-temperature conditions, has small variation in shapes and dimensions, and is capable of maintaining an internal sterilized condition. A nonwoven fabric separator for a lead storage battery includes a nonwoven fabric configured with regenerated fibers or synthetic fibers. The nonwoven fabric is composed of a recycled fiber or synthetic fiber having a relationship between the average pore diameter (D) of the nonwoven fabric separator and the number of pores (N) that satisfies the following equation: 1.0&#xd7;10&#x3c;D*N&#x3c;1.0&#xd7;10. An object of the present invention is to provide a noise absorbing fabric in which electromagnetic waves are not susceptible to being reflected and which has superior noise absorbing ability, a noise absorbing fabric having noise absorbing ability across a wide band, a noise absorbing fabric that is soft, highly flexible, thin, and can be incorporated in intricate portions of electronic components or housings and the like by being bent or folded and the like, and a noise absorbing fabric that can be easily and stably produced without using an expensive soft magnetic material, is inexpensive and demonstrates high performance. In the noise absorbing fabric, a metal is subjected to metal processing on at least one side of a fabric, and the common logarithmic value of the surface resistivity of the surface subjected to metal processing is within the range of 0 to 4.

Disclosed is an electromagnetic shielding sheet that has a smaller increase in the thickness of a base after the formation of a metal coating film when compared with conventional electromagnetic shielding sheets, and which has excellent electromagnetic wave shielding properties despite a small amount of adhered metal. According to the present invention, the electromagnetic shielding sheet can endure metal working processes and has high electromagnetic wave shielding properties, resulting in a thin, very flexible fabric sheet. Specifically disclosed is an electromagnetic shielding sheet which is composed of a laminated non-woven fabric that has at least a first layer and a second layer, and which is characterized in that the first layer is a layer of thermoplastic synthetic fibers having a fiber diameter of 6 &#x3bc;m to 50 &#x3bc;m, the second layer is a layer of ultrafine fibers having a fiber diameter of 0.1 &#x3bc;m to 5.0 &#x3bc;m, and a metal is adhered to at least one surface of the sheet.
